《Do Dungeons Dream of Goblins?》The Wait is Over

Man its boring it’s been about 10 days and no one has come yet, hey is this normal?
“No not really I would think you would be swarming by now… well whatever you have now enough mana to add another floor for 1000 mana, by the way the more floors the more mana it costs.” Grey said
Can’t I add more monsters?
“Not really, you chose you’re beginning monsters already. To get more monsters you need to capture adventurer souls and turn them into monsters.” Grey said
I thought you said i don't eat souls?
"I only said that you don't level up from souls, monsters that kill the humanoids still take pieces of their souls but you take the rest and turn it into a new monster that appears in your dungeon." Grey explained
Then why did I have things that were way beyond what I could buy like the Hydra?
“To show you what type of monsters you could get, also sometimes you could cajole gods to give you more mana.” Grey said
Ugh how annoying fine let's buy a floor
[Would you like to buy Ruins or Swamp floor?]
Let’s buy another Swamp floor
[Swamp Floor has been bought]
Ugh I feel a bit light-headed, oh another floor has appeared it seems to have lily-pads you use to travel around interesting how does this dungeon decide what to make?
“That’s easy the floors are created from your head, basically an idea of a floor you had in your head becomes realized.” Grey answered
That’s… convenient
[A Group of 5 Humanoids has come and has offered a contract]
Oh a contract Grey explained to me what it is before when I asked why an adventurer would invade.
Let’s initiate the conditions
[The Dungeon has agreed to do the contract in exchange for mana]

[The Group has offered a magical stone that has 1000 mana to perform a contract]
Is 1000 mana good?
“Something seems fishy that’s a bit too much accept it, and then lower the strength of all the monsters ok?” Grey said
Alright Lower monster strength
[Monsters have been weakened]
Accept the Contract
[Contract has Been Accepted after the Humanoids defeat the Boss they shall return to the start, and all monsters and humanoids killed shall return to life]
By the way why did I have to lower the monster strength? Even if the contract is activated I still receive mana from killing them…
“That’s because I believe your situation is a bit strange did you somehow piss off a god?” Grey asked with his eye raised
…maybe?
“Ha… well I don’t know if it’s your luck or not, you might have attracted a demi-god already. They probably came to investigate your dungeon then destroy you.” Grey said
B-b-b-but I have lots of monsters and the boss is pretty strong!
“You’ll quickly see how strong demi-gods are. Even though you are also a demi-god you become stronger the more time you have and you were basically born like 2 weeks ago, against a demi-god that’s been living for at least 16 years, you lack in many areas.” Grey said
Why at least 16 years old?
“That’s the youngest age you need to be before countries feel safe in sending demi-gods out.” Grey answered
So am I screwed?
“No we need to surprise them that’s why we weakened the monsters so they become cocky and when they attempt to kill you for real you restore the strength of the monsters also using the gained mana you can directly create a mini-boss.” Grey said
Mini-Boss?
“By fusing lots of mana into a specific monster you can massively increase their powers, however once they die they die permanently, lets hope you kill one of them to get enough mana to create a mini-boss.” Grey answered

That’s Great wait if we kill the demi-god won’t I get a body?
“Well that’s why I said it might have been your luck, if we can play this right we can immediately start making your body plus a demi-god soul should allow you to create an extremely strong monster!” Grey said
I wonder how strong my boss monster is can I check it?
“Yes just say [Check Boss]” Grey said
[Check Boss]
[Name: Legion]
[Race: Stinger Queen]
[Level: 15]
[Health: 2500]
[Mana: 1000]
[Abilities: [Swarm Control] [Poison Blades intermediate level 1] [Flight expert level 1] [Agility intermediate level 5] [Poison Spit Beginner level 8]]
When did she get a name?
“Every Boss name gets a name the name is created from your mind as well.” Grey said
So how will she be weakened now?
“All of her ability would decrease by 3 levels and she can only give simple commands to her swarm.” Grey explained
Let’s not die and kill the incoming demi-god MWHUAHAHA
“I have to say it sounds kind of stupid hearing someone laugh in their head, but yeah let’s not die…” Grey said
Well that just ruined my mood

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
