Matt pov

Boy does calt work fast, he dug the first room in the dungeon to almost twice the size before makes a path to where the next room will be in about two hours. It took 50 mp though for him to do it. I moved my dungeon heart down the hallway to the end, the hall is only three feet tall and two feet wide but it puts my dungeon heart out of harms way some more.

My six crabs are dead, but it's okay they laid eggs before dying. Between 4-6 eggs per pair of adults. After three generations with the fourth about to be born I was expecting 720 hermit crabs. I had turned the breeding frenzy off after these eggs were born. I'd also had cult dig then a nest inside the wall,don't ask me how he did it, all I know is that the entrance is a small crack.

It was morning now and I had opened my doors a few hours ago.

I had it set so all animals or monsters born in my dungeon had a core. Hunter,Gerald, and Lana had brought me some moss and a few mushrooms they had been able to find both of these out side around the dungeon. I had them leave it in the dungeon.

Both fungi were currently growing in the dungeon and being eaten by both the hermit crabs and about 100 flys. The other thing I've gained so far is a centipede, I already made it my animal, it liked to eat the flys when it could catch them but it used its larger size and movement speed to kill and eat the hermit crabs. The centipede was growing to, my guess is all the magic power from so many crabs in such a small body it forcing it to mutate in order to accommodate. Currently my strongest monster the centipede was about as long as a mans forearm and about 1/4 as thick. It's a good thing it will live for another few months at least unless it gets killed because I have nothing to breed it with yet, though I sent Lana away from the door into the forest to go look for some more.

'Ooh look some visitors' I thought as some scarab like beetles flew through through the cave mouth I had open to about 8' by 8' there was four of them and they were about the size of a mans Palm and black as night with a small horn sticking out of their head that looked it had two letter B's on either side of the top.

They look like a good base for some bug monsters so I order the centipede to stay away from them for now, for the safety of both of them.

I just watched them eat the flys and they worked together to kill some hermit crabs, by the time they finished eating three crabs their minds were easily over powered once they were mine I induced breeding frenzy once they laid about 40 eggs I ended it and they died soon after. Most of the hermit crab eggs had hatched by now, some were even eaten already as previously mentioned.

It was at this moment that Lana decided to show up with my most anticipated guest. It was another centipede and when I used identify I found it was indeed a female.

After thanking Lana I said I would be closing the doors for a little bit. Once Lana was out and the door was closed I turned my attention to the new centipede while calt started building the centipede nest.

The female centipede was about half the size of the male, in part because of the magic power difference because the male has been eating crabs,I think at least. It took calt but minutes and 10 mp to finish the centipede nest.

They immediately went inside and I turned on breeding frenzy, though only until the first clutch of eggs started to hatch. With four new centipedes, all about 3/4 the size of the first male.

Smiling to myself (obviously who else could see it) I realized that it was time for a bug eating animal.

Apex pov

I've been walking now for about 30 min I would have been at the beach already but I found a wolf about to eat a lizardling (smaller than a gecko) and I used the chance to tame the wolf because I was able to sneak up behind it because it was so focused, I got a few good hits in before I ended up fighting a drawn out fight with a stick against it. The wolf eventually succumbed to the taming spell, one that was done the lizard walk up to me and just stared at me until I used the spell on it to. So now I have a tiny lizard and a bruised up wolf. After taming them I have them both as much of my monster milk as they could drink. I see a bright future for both of them, a dragon and a othorus (Two headed Demon wolf). The crab I don't have much hope for seeing as there isn't really a strong crab monster rank up. Maybe I Could sell him or trade him or something, a lot of takers do that with unwanted monsters. Hmm food for thought. 'I can see the beach through the trees now'.
