《The Nether Wolf [CURRENTLY ON HIATUS!]》Prologue: I guess I'm this story's Little Red Riding Hood.

"Standing in the middle of the stone corridor was boy sixteen of age, with brown hair cut short, gently resting on his head, framing his thin yet round head without obstructing the view of his gray-blue eyes." That is indeed how I will start the book describing my current experience I thought. Maybe I should also describe my clothing? How about: “The boy’s frame, neither short nor tall, buff, fat or thin was draped by thin, deep brown jacket and long legs by dark blue jeans. On his feet he wore old pair sneakers faded by age, darkened by dirt.” Yes, that is sufficiently poetic for a beginning.
How did I get here? Not really sure. I mean I know when and where it happened but how? Now that evades me. What I know is that after school ended I walked towards home the same route I always take. Sure my attention on the road is not the best with my fall jacket buttoned all the way up and hood on, not to mention my over sized and over priced headphones over my ears, but I'm neither driving motorized nor non-motorized vehicle so it's not a risk to anybody. Plus the road is familiar and nobody else in particular uses that it, that's the charm of small towns; always being alone! Not that I'm a loner, I have friends and get along fine with my family. Neither of those things are the point thou.
The point is that when I walked under a highway bridge like I normally do, instead of coming out from the other side of it, it just kept on going and going. After walking for a minute or two I noticed that the gray, circular concrete walls of the small "tunnel" had turned into white-gray, angular stone walls I now see before me. First thing I did was walk back, but I quickly ran into a wall blocking my passage. I tried pushing it with my full strength but it didn't even budge, not that I really expected to break through brick walls or dimensional barriers with simple push. So I turned around and kept moving forward till I stopped to wonder how I'm going to cash in with this occurrence. I decided to do it by writing a book when I get home. IF I get home.

Well, at least everything on me was carried on to the new world that I currently inhabitant, including my cellphone with no reception, my backpack with no food or drinks and my clothes that provide no shelter except from mellow weather of the early fall. I’m definitely going to survive here. At least I decided to wear long sleeved flannel-shirt over my t-shirt so it’s not so bad. And used the school bathroom before leaving, empty bladder is always a plus when embarking on an adventure. After considering options created by my current situation and equipment I conclude that the best course of action is to keep moving forward.
The plan of advancing bears it fruit as I step in front of the wooden double doors that declare the end of this tunnel. Stepping through I make my way into a square hall wide enough to hold hundred people with room to spare. It's made from high quality marble and thus completely white except for rim of gold plating surrounding a rectangle shaped altar in the middle. The altar is flanked both sides by torches apparently bolted to the floor but with no fire burning, the light comes from multiple windows cut in ceiling. On the other side of the hall is a second set of double doors.
I decide to advance by the right wall of the room, well right wall by my point of view. As I get to the halfway point of the room I see that on the altar is placed a spherical object around the size of baseball, a see-through glass or crystal ball with black liquid or smoke swirling inside. I decide to ignore the Ominous Orb of Obvious Evil held within the golden prongs jutting up from the altar and not to venture inside the ring of gold plating surrounding it. I mean I have seen and read enough of the fantasy-genre to know that touching object seemingly steaming with magical power is a big no for anybody wanting to survive. And walking into a clearly defined area inside of a temple or in presence of magic items is also generally suicidal course of action.

As I make my way to the other side of the second set of double doors, I'm faced with new tunnel, this time extending on my left and right. On the right is a single door made of metal that seems to be locked as it doesn’t open no matter what I do. So I go to the left and come on top of stairs leading down. My gaze follows the path of the stairs all the way down three or four stories high descent till my sight stop when I see it. Size around that of a bear, slightly longer and little more slender, wolf like beast lying there. As I decide to turn around my movement is stopped by the things own. It rises on all four... on all eights and opens it eyes on pairs of two, up to six crimson red eyes with their gaze burning on me. I don't have the time to see it bare it fangs, only hear it growl deep and loud as I turn and run. It has climbed the stairs in time it takes me to reach the wooden doors and I see its alabaster fangs ready tear into me. I don't bother shutting the doors, they don't have a lock nor is there anything to bar the door in this empty white room. I just run inside the ring of golden floor tiles and see the beast stop on my heels as I enter the ring. I have no idea why I ran inside of the ring, I guess instinct trumps intelligence.

Reinventing the Struggle
The (sort of) original working title for this was "Reincarnated into a neo-feudal world of mecha knights, I will reinvent the panzerkampfwagen and mess up the social political order!" or something along those lines. And honestly that's a good enough synopsis given the nature of isekai titles. This story is unapologetic trash but at least it's the least cringe stuff I have written so far, so here it goes.
