At the west side of Gutian Town, on a roof of the highest building, Captain Zhao Qing watched the battle scene between his men and the zombies with his binocular.

When he heard of the arrival of army from Ningde, Captain Zhao Qing began to organize his men. He planned to attack the zombies army from Fuzhou and helped the army from Ningde to win the battle. He was furious when Colonel Wen Liang refused to have any discussion about it. After a day filled with much frustration, Captain Zhao Qing decided to act on his own.

Much to his delight, there were few other officers within the army in Gutian town, who agreed with him.

Colonel Wen Liang's inaction, frustrated them too. When they saw Captain Zhao Qing voiced his frustration and critiqued the colonel openly, they found the figure they wanted to follow in him.

As soon as Captain Zhao Qing rebelled against Colonel Wen Liang's instruction to stay defensive and did nothing to help their comrades from Ningde, those people joined under his command. Now, Captain Zhao Qing had two other captains, four lieutenants and about 2,600 soldiers under his command. Captain Zhao Qing held a quick meeting with the other two captains and they agreed to actively attack the zombies on the west side of the town.

They decided to send their troop beyond their line of defense and expanded their control over the territory. Even if they couldn't achieve it, they were hoping that their aggressive attack, would help the army from Ningde even if it was just a bit.

Some casualties was expected, but everyone agreed that it was unavoidable.

The first two days they fought courageously and won some land, but that was when everything became harder for them. Their number was reduced to 2,400 men. They also needed more men to secure the new defense lines, with bigger territory they needed more men to defend it. The army from Fuzhou didn't passively defended their siege as well. Zhao Yulang instructed them to actively fight and win back their control over the west side.

The last few days, Captain Zhao Qing and his supporters were forced to stay on defensive.

The barrage of attacks from the zombies army didn't give them any chance to launch any offensive move. Even with all their forces focused on defending their territory, they lost many men during the battles. Their number was reduced even more. This was also a reason why Colonel Wen Liang patiently waited and allowed the army from Ningde to move closer and closer to Gutian town. Based on his cowardice, he would join the army from Fuzhou to attack the army from Ningde when they were still far from the town.

But he had a threat that was even closer and Colonel Wen Liang wanted the threat to be reduced as harmless as possible before he showed his true color.

Now the army from Ningde was too close for him and Captain Zhao Qing's men also reduced to be less than 2,000. In Colonel Wen Liang's mind, there was no threat upon his position, either from the army from Ningde or from Captain Zhao Qing.

Colonel Wen Liang decided to quickly wiped out Captain Zhao Qing's and his men, then turned to help the army from Fuzhou to defeat the army from Ningde. He only made a move, when his victory was certain.

Today Captain Zhao Qing and the other two captains were watching their situation desperately. They just received a news from several hundred of soldiers, whose captains and lieutenants was killed by Colonel Wen Liang because they refused to work with him. When Captain Zhao Qing and the other two captains heard of Colonel Wen Liang's betrayal, their heart were trembled, both in fear and anger.

"He will come for us for sure.", said one of the captain, called Captain Meng Yao.

"We will be attacked from two sides then. We should withdraw our men, there is no way we could defend our current territory, when that bastard Wen Liang attack us from behind.", said the other captain, named Captain Zhao Ren.

Captain Zhao Qing was looking at their situation with his binocular at that time. He saw thousands of men, led by one ferocious man, charged into the zombies.

Since Captain Zhao Qing said nothing, Captain Meng Yao asked him, "Captain Zhao Qing, what do you think about that? Shouldn't we instruct our men to withdraw from their position?"

Captain Zhao Qing focused his binocular on the leader of that coming forces and suddenly laughed. Captain Meng Yao and Captain Zhao Ren watched him in wonder, and then their eyes followed Captain Zhao Qing's eyes. Quickly they took their own binoculars and watched the battle that happened, west of them.

"Who is that man?", Captain Meng Yao asked in amazement.

"Who are they? Where this army come from? Wait a minute... , Captain Zhao Qing, is that young man, is the man you're telling us before? Does it mean that they come from Nanping?", Captain Zhao Ren asked in disbelief.

"Yes, he is the one I was telling you two few days ago.", Captain Zhao Qing answered.

"That forces from Nanping ... I can't believe it ... someone, a civilian, raised an army like this?", Captain Meng Yao stared in disbelief.

"We shouldn't waste time here, if they can reach the town before Colonel Wen Liang reach us first, or if we can use this chance to break through the siege...", said Captain Zhao Qing.

"Then we will survive through this!", Captain Zhao Ren competed his sentence excitedly.

"Let's go down! Let's lead them personally!", Captain Zhao Qing threw his binocular and ran down.

Captain Zhao Ren and Captain Meng Yao, turned to follow.

Soon they led their army to attack aggressively, the pressure on their defense had long gone. The zombies army from Fuzhou who were stationed at the west side of the town, was attacked from two directions. Huang Wen's army slaughtered their way toward Gutian Town. At the same time, Captain Zhao Qing led his army and his supporters to attack from within the town.

It was during those moments that Zhao Yulang instructed them to withdraw. The battle quickly ended, within an hour or so. Huang Wen, the real one, was thinking of pursuing the other zombie's commander. But he hesitated at taking another man's life. His hesitation gave his opponent, enough time to escape.

Huang Wen at the end, decided to calmly watch the army from Fuzhou withdrew from the battlefield at the west of Gutian town. He quickly used his technique to disappear from anyone's consciousness. It wasn't a big trouble since Baihu still withdrew everyone's attention and slaughtered the retreating zombies.

Through their spiritual link, Huang Wen instructed Baihu to go even deeper within the enemy's rank. He withdrew Baihu back to his soul realm, when no one could clearly see.

When the battle field was cleared from any fights, they could see Huang Wen stood and watched how the zombies slowly disappeared toward the east side of the town, where the battle between the army from Fuzhou and the army from Ningde still happened fiercely.

Huang Wen's men, quickly ran to assemble behind him.

While the troop from the town, quickly assembled behind Captain Zhao Qing. Without any hesitation Captain Zhao Qing commanded them to stand and wait, while he took his trusted men to greet Huang Wen.

"Young Hero Huang!", Captain Zhao Qing quickly led his staff, other captains and all those lieutenants under his command to go and greet Huang Wen.

Everyone knew of Colonel Wen Liang's betrayal by now. They knew how close they were with death today and the one who saved them was this young man. They sincerely bowed their head, when they greeted Huang Wen. Stood behind Huang Wen were the girls, Chen Fang and Xia Bao. They felt their heart filled with pride.

Especially Zhang Xuan, unconsciously, she was watching Huang Wen closely. Her heart filled with admiration. She carefully engraved his image in her heart. Each of his features, was deeply engraved there. His manly face features combined with gentle eyes. He was tall and with all the sweat that wet his clothes, one could faintly saw his well shaped muscles.

With all the men bowed before him. he truly looked like a hero, out of some historical Chinese movies.

Zhang Xuan wasn't the only one who unconsciously watched Huang Wen in admiration. Both Xia Yue and Chen Yao were staring at him, like seeing a new person. Especially Chen Yao who like to mock him from time to time.

It was her first time to look at Huang Wen leading an army and Baihu's ferocious performance truly a sight to behold. His savagery was hidden by the fact that he was surrounded by tens of enemies from all direction. In that situation, Baihu was rather seen, as fighting valiantly. He inspired many of his men to fight courageously and keep their morale high.

Her deeply buried feeling for Huang Wen emerged to the surface before she knew it. It took her more than minutes to realize how she looked at Huang Wen longingly. Quickly Chen Yao averted her eyes to look at another direction.

It happened that she looked at Xia Yue, who was looking at Huang Wen in similar fashion as she did, few moments ago. Suddenly her heart was beating faster, there was part of her who didn't want to give up on Huang Wen. Chen Yao felt even worse now and to make it worse, her next effort to look away made her saw Zhang Xuan.

Huang Wen, Chen Fang and Xia Bao was conversing with Captain Zhao Qing and his men at that moment. The girls stood there quietly, each of their minds were filled with Huang Wen.

Their daydreaming was ended when Huang Wen spoke in serious tone, "Then we should quickly deal with this Colonel Wen Liang! We can't allow him to put everyone in the town in danger, by his greed."

"Captain Zhao Qing, why don't you lead the army, I will closely follow behind you.", said Huang Wen.

Captain Zhao Qing hesitated for a while, he turned to look at the men behind him and to those thousand and few hundreds of his men who were waiting tens of meters behind them. He knew their admiration for Huang Wen who displayed his courage and valiantly fought before them.

Even Captain Zhao Qing himself, could feel his morale was aroused when he saw, how Huang Wen led his army to charge into their enemy.

After some thought, Captain Zhao Qing said, "Young Hero Huang, I hope you're the one who lead us all. We'll assist you and guide you through the town but after what you just showed us today.... I think everyone would be inspired, if they know you're the one who lead us."

Before Huang Wen could answer, all the men behind Captain Zhao Qing quickly bowed and pleaded, "Young Hero Huang, please lead us!"

Huang Wen was ready to refuse, but once he saw their determination, he closed his mouth and nodded his head.

"Well, with everyone's support, I believe we'll win this battle.", said him later.

Raised his hand high to the sky he shouted, using a technique that was taught by Baihu, his voice raised everyone's morale, "Defeat the traitors! Save the people!"

Soon everyone raised their hand and shouted, more than 4,000 men shouted, the sound was reverberated through the land, "Defeat the traitors! Save the people!"

It even louder than the sound of battle between the army from Fuzhou against those from Ningde. Many people in the town heard them. People who were hiding in their house in fear, somehow gained hope and courage when they heard it.

While Colonel Wen Liang's army who was marching toward the west side, in order to kill Captain Zhao Qing and his supporters, felt their heart trembled in fear when they heard it.
