They didn't dare to spend a night at the temporary base, since every second counted, as soon as all the survivors from Nan An gathered, they began to arrange everything. As soon as they were ready, they didn't wait until the next day before they began to transport their people on the way to Fuzhou, they started on moving their people that very night.
Their biggest problem was the lack of buses and trucks.
Which means they needed to move them in several groups. Every time they moved several tens of kilometers, the first one will build a temporary base camp while the trucks and buses returned to pick more people. Even worse was the fact that they might not have enough gas to bring them all the way to Fuzhou.
With heavy heart Chen Fang and Xia Bao told their neighbors that they might have their journey to Fuzhou on foot.
"We would try to use buses and trucks as far as we could, along the way, we will need to gather gas from any source that available to us. If we lucky, then we might be able to reach Fuzhou with them but prepare yourself to walk on foot.", said Chen Fang.
Everything looked pretty grim. They might have all night to distant themselves from Nan An, Huang Wen, Zhang Tian Yi and the others had cleared the road when they came from Fuzhou.
Their biggest problem was the gas for the buses and trucks.
Huang Wen, Zhang Tian Yi and Chen Wu Xuang were standing at the top of a broken car, looking at the last group of survivors from Nan An who were leaving their next temporary base, from behind.
"This isn't good... with this pace, it wouldn't be too hard for Wang Shi to catch up with us.", said Huang Wen.
"But... his zombies ... they can't walk fast either. The hardest part is to break through them. Now that we already escaped Nan An, as long as we keep moving, there is no way for them to catch us.", said Chen Wu Xuang, though he sounded optimist, there were hints of doubt in his voice.
"His zombies can't catch up, but he can.", said Huang Wen.
"Do you think, without his zombies, he might pose a danger for us?", Chen Wu Xuang asked.
Zhang Tian Yi said, "According to Xia Bao and Chen Fang, there were about 50 men who worked for Wang Shi. 50 men with guns might be a bit problematic."
"There were times when we faced more than that in the past few days.", said Chen Wu Xuang.
"What are you thinking right now?", Zhang Tian Yi asked Huang Wen.

"Hmm... it's the zombies control ability that I'm worried about. Do only all the zombies in Nan An that will obey Wang Shi? Or he has the ability to control zombies wherever he goes?", Huang Wen answered.
"Do you think he had that ability?", Chen Wu Xuang asked.
"What do you see with your third eye back then?", added Zhang Tian Yi.
"Hmm... it seemed the thread did link to Wang Shi and there was another thread, this one a bit different, linked Wang Shi to somewhere in the direction of Chang Sha. I guess that was the link from the one called the demon lord to Wang Shi.", answered Huang Wen.
"Can you sense this demon lord?", Chen Wu Xuang asked.
Huang Wen shook his head, "No, I can't... but one thing that I'm certain, this demon lord is far much stronger than the demons we met before this."
"What makes you so certain about it?", asked Zhang Tian Yi.
"Since the demons who previously have authority over those zombies, were willingly giving the control to the demon lord through Wang Shi.", Huang Wen answered.
Huang Wen, Zhang Tian Yi and Chen Wu Xuang didn't know that another gate from the demon's realm had opened on more than 10 spots all over China. One of them was at Chang Sha, while the other was at Fuzhou. Fortunately for those who lived in Fuzhou that they had the Grand Elder from the fairies who lived at Xichan Temple. One at Chang Sha already opened several days ago. One high level demon went through the gate before it closed and quickly conquered all the demons in Chang Sha. Within days, his influence spread to other cities near Chang Sha.
"What should we do then? With so many people on the street if suddenly the zombies attack from all direction, there will be great casualties, even if we won the battle.", Chen Wu Xuang asked.
"We should assign more people to help us act as rear guard.", said Zhang Tian Yi after a while.
"Yes, you better call Liu Wang Yun now and asked Xia Bao and Chen Fang to assign more of his men with us.", said Chen Wu Xuang.
Zhang Tian Yi nodded and grimly said, "Not just that, I guess we should put more distant between us and the main body, build a strong defense point around here. By the time Wang Shi and his zombies come, we should hold them here as long as possible."
Both Chen Wu Xuang and Huang Wen could read the hint behind his words. Zhang Tian Yi was ready to give up his life to give the survivors from Nan An more time.

Chen Wu Xuang didn't say anything for a while and then said, "Let's call Brother Ma Heng then and let Huang Wen to take his place in front."
Zhang Tian Yi nodded, "Huang Wen why don't you go to the front?"
Huang Wen nodded his head but didn't show any hints of actually did what Zhang Tian Yi and Chen Wu Xuang suggested to him. Zhang Tian Yi and Chen Wu Xuang watched his expression and waited.
After a while Chen Wu Xuang tried to call him out of his daydream, "Huang Wen..."
Huang Wen nodded his head, "I understand..."
"So... why..?", Chen Wu Xuang wondered.
"I have a different idea.", said Huang Wen.
"What do you have in mind?", asked Zhang Tian Yi.
"I'll return to Nan An and hid in the school. When Wang Shi arrived, I will attack him before he can defend himself. Once the one who controls them died, the zombies will be running away from me and I can easily catch up with you guys.", Huang Wen answered.
"You said that the one who actually in control is the demon lord, not Wang Shi. What if after you kill Wang Shi, the control simply returned to the demon lord? You will be surrounded by hundred thousands of zombies. That's suicide.", Zhang Tian Yi retorted.
"Yes, I was thinking about that but at the end. If the demon lord has such abilities, then he won't need people like Wang Shi. The fact that he needs people like Wang Shi means he can't control those zombies at Nan An. Most likely Wang Shi worked like a relay station to extend his control over zombies. Which means, once I kill Wang Shi, he will lose control over the zombies in Nan An.", Huang Wen answered.
"But there is no way we could prove that your hypothesis is true. If you make the wrong assumption here, the price is your life kid.", said Zhang Tian Yi.
"I know, but if I don't take this risk then we will put your life and life of tens even hundred people at risk.", said Huang Wen.
"Then let me be the one who returned to Nan An.", said Zhang Tian Yi.
"No..., it has to be me, because I'm the only one who can repel those zombies away.", said Huang Wen.
"I could repel zombies away too. Once I kill Wang Shi they will become free zombies and avoid me.", said Zhang Tian Yi.
"Even if we kill Wang Shi, there are many low level demons who are ready to take over the control over that zombies. No, I am the only one who can do this properly.", Huang Wen insisted.
"Don't be silly kid. You're too young to die.", Zhang Tian Yi growled.
"And I has no plan to die today nor tomorrow.", Huang Wen replied.
"Listen...", Zhang Tian Yi tried to argue.
"I'm sorry, Big brother Zhang, Big brother Chen, I'm leaving now.", Huang Wen said.
As soon as he said that, he used his high agility to disappear from their sight.
"Wait! You brat!", Zhang Tian Yi tried to chase him, but Huang Wen was just too fast.
Zhang Tian Yi then leaped from the car and tried to chase Huang Wen, but Chen Wu Xuang quickly grabbed him.
"Brother Zhang, stop!", said Chen Wu Xuang to Zhang Tian Yi.
"Why do you stop me?", Zhang Tian Yi turned angrily.
"Do you think you can catch him with the speed of yours?", Chen Wu Xuang asked.
Zhang Tian Yi didn't say anything for a while but then he said, "But I know where he is going to go."
"He will arrive at Nan An at least an hour before you arrived, once he entered the school, could you pass all those zombies and follow him inside?", Chen Wu Xuang asked.
"Hmph!", Zhang Tian Yi harrumphed.
"Let's trust him now. We still have more than one thousand people in front of us. They need us too. Would you sacrifice the thousand to save one? Even more that one person willingly put himself at risk for the sake of this thousand you're supposed to guard and you're going to abandon.", Chen Wu Xuang tried to persuade Zhang Tian Yi.
Zhang Tian Yi was standing there in silent, while looking at the direction Huang Wen disappeared.
After quite some time, he turned back to Chen Wu Xuang, "Okay..., I understand. Let's go."
Chen Wu Xuang nodded his head, "Beside, there is a good chance that he will come back to us safely."
Zhang Tian Yi nodded his head, "Hmm.... let's hope so."
Together Zhang Tian Yi and Chen Wu Xuang went to see the men who were assigned to them, to act as rear guard and began their journey to Fuzhou.
Mean while Huang Wen ran at his top speed for a few more minutes, before reduced his speed and ran at 70% of his top speed. He needed to reach the Nan An public school before Wang Shi arrived. He only had a few more hours left before the sun dawned.

He is here to protect me, he was always there. " I do" I say softly. " OK then I have a plan. Don't worry we will get him back" he says. 8 55The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
It is about a London lawyer named Gabriel John Utterson who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr Henry Jekyll, and the evil Edward Hyde. The novella's impact is such that it has become a part of the language, with the very phrase "Jekyll and Hyde" coming to mean a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next.------------I do not own or did not write this story. It is a copy of Original Book that I have uploded to help spread the book to wider audiences. Hope you enjoy.
8 186Reborn as a Dungeon Boss
If anyone were to take my actions, my feats, my influence on the world, and write them down as a story, there would be one point that needs to be raised before all else. This is not a song of redemption. This is not a tale of hope. This is not a parable of goodness. No. Mine is a warning of destruction. Slaughter. Death. For death brought me into this world...and death I shall bring to it. This will be my second attempt at writing a novel. For the fans of my first work, I'm sorry for disappearing for so long...life happened. I will continue that one at some point, but for now I want to try to get back into the groove of writing.
