[Entering the Largest Goblin Settlement within Ling State.]

The next morning, I went over to look for Section Leader Zhu to inform him about my intention. I frankly tell him my target, about how I will spend some time to travel around the Ling State, and looking forward to obtaining more experience. In the same time, I allow him to take a look at my equipment I had prepared for myself as I travel. He looked at my tools and equipment, but only have a comment on the practicality on my Pistol. I have to convince him that this too is excellent and very suitable for my usage, and have to show him its destructive power before he is totally convinced.

But what he offered to me instead, is a different kind of offer I actually expected. He gave me a contract to sign, where it is well stated that no matter what, the Refining Workshop will allow me to travel around the state and to be relief from handling any quota for a period of half year. But after I returned, I will be required to deliver 100 Medium Grade 10 Crystals each month, depending on how long my leave tenure will be.

When I read on such contract, I actually felt that I've returned to my previous world for a moment. With all my items is taken with me, I returned the Storage Box and exchanged my 200 points for two Portable Workstation that was offered in the Point Exchange Counter. The first Portable Workstation Part I chose is the Blacksmith Unit, while for the second, I chose the Refiner Unit. With all this thing is done, I left the Refining Workshop after I bid farewell to Section Leader Zhu and Senior Brother Kong Rong.

I went directly to the Compartment Upgrading Store next and had the goblin pouch within my inventory totally upgraded to a better grade before I went out for a journey. I spend a total of 425 Crystals to refine the basic Goblin Pouch into 17 Goblin Single Upgrade Pouch, and another 1300 Crystals to upgrade the 65 of them into a total of 13 Goblin Double Upgraded Pouch. Of course, I spend 3000 Black Crystals to destroy the ownership link of the three Lower Compartment Bag belonged to Lu Fang, and make it mine. While paying another 7000 Black Crystals to upgrade all of them into a Medium Grade 10 Compartment Pouch, with a capacity of 6000 Units each.

Just like this, I went out from the Long Hun Town, and head directly up towards the north. I know that the border of the Ling Stage will come within a week supposedly, but if in between there is some part of the state is possible to be explored, why not I spend some time exploring them? I would much more be preferring such kind of life instead of being tied working for the Refining Workshop.

On my fourth day journey, I finally met with another two merchants with their caravan. Since our destination is up north as well, I decided to not asking where we are heading at the moment, but leave it to our surprise. Soon, after one day of travelling together, we actually reached our destination, a settlement that was built on the edge of the border of Ling State.

Since the two merchant already knows their destination, they were already used to this kind of views. But for me, this is totally first time experience of walking straight into the Gobumi Settlement, the largest Goblin Settlement within the Ling State of Tian Gong Country. This settlement already existed within this Ling State for around 60 years, and although they are a settlement fully resides by goblins and a few other tribes, some humans too could be seen around here.

This Gobumi Settlement does not have any exceptional peace treaty with the Ling State Army, so sometimes, some small attack and skirmish do happen outside of the Gobumi Settlement. One of the main reason is that this settlement is also one of the escape destination for those attacking Goblins that came directly from the Forest of Hundred Tribes.

This Settlement population numbered around 7 Million Goblin from different tribes, with around 1 Million Direhound Tribes. The population of the human within this settlement ranged about 50,000, and added with other tribes such as elves, dwarves and gnomes, it totalled up into a number of around 200,000. The City lord of this Gobumi Settlement is as expected, a Goblin, but she was a rare breed.

She possesses a single horn protruding from her forehead, with some godly powered tattoo that spread all across her left body. She is especially exceptional when it comes to war and strategy to defeat her enemies, and in the same time, she receives a deep respect from all the goblins within her settlement. It seems that she had been leading the Gobumi Settlement since it was established, until now.

Her name is Gobumi, the Lord and owner of this Gobumi Settlement. Nobody knows her strength, but everyone knows one thing about her. Its the respect she obtained, from all the population within her settlement.

I queue with the others outside of the settlement and awaits my turn to obtained my piece of entrance token. The requirement to enter this settlement is simple. You must possess a single Goblin Hide in your possession, and you will have to wear it wherever you went within the settlement. If you have belonged to a beast tribe, you will be required to put on a collar instead, where it is unimaginable that some beast, such as some independent Lions or Mountain Apes, actually knows how to obey this rules when they entered the city.

"What does wild beast have with this settlement anyway? And most important question of all, how the hell those beasts actually knows how to come to this place and queue for an entrance collar!!!"

I stop disturbing my brain with the question and got my piece of entrance token. It seems that they put the Green Goblin as the guards and also working for personnel because they are easier to control and more obedient when doing their duties. The moment I entered the settlement, I and greeted with the first building as I pass through the settlement walls.

"What the hell?"

It is actually a seven-storey high Prostitution building, with a long signboard with prices stated on top. I walk past quite a few different workshops, and it seems like within here, employees are not restricted, and also you are not controlled to conduct your business. This is also the reason why there is a large number of merchants coming over to this town to do their business.

Hmm, It seems like the item is differentiated by their grades, and all they provide is only the most basic ingredients. I looked at the item and tried to talk with the Store Owner. Hmm, it seems like the trading shop here is all catered to basic needs. I have a total of 40 Goblin Beads, but I will need to know what I required to be able to properly earn some money here. If that's the case, I will purchase a total of 300 Small Crystals for now. I paid a total of 30 Goblin Beads to the Shop Owner, as it withdraws a sack up to the table.

"Hey wait, it is mixed with all kind of crystals!" I tried to stop the owner, but as he simple grabs a total of 300 small crystals for me and kept the sack back to below his table. I actually felt speechless. The item they sold, please tell me it is not mixed and matches. I'm looking at that 300 mixed crystals in front of me, and I kept all of them as I walked out from the store.

A place to stay for first. Let us see... Alright, there is a residential rental office. I went over to the building and asked for the fee to stay each night. And seeing there is a business in the office, the Goblin quickly replied my question. "Ark!" he shouted at first, and then begin to talk. "Human, one room for one night is one goblin bead." I looked at the goblin and pass him a total of three goblin beads and says, "Three Night".

He accepted the beads and passed me three different long stripe keys. "Ark! One key for one room for one night. Three night is three key, ARK!" he finished his words and turned around to continue having fun with a piece of metal. Why would that goblin is so obsessed with that metal? I wondered, by did no ask any question. I went deeper into the settlement and finally noticed a big square where many people are sitting here to do their private matters, such as refining some crystals, smelting some equipment or preparing some concoction.

"I guess I will do some works here too." I sat down at a spot and take the 300 crystals out from my compartment bag, and begins to refine them. It is almost the similar to the human lower grade 10 crystals, but the only differences are that these crystals are only can be used by the monster tribe. Every 5 Small Crystal will be refined into a Small Warrior Crystal, then Small Marauder Crystal, Small Master Crystal, and lastly, a Small Lord Crystals.

With the 300 Small Crystals in hand, I quickly refine all of them until I have no more tries left. The supposedly 60 chances become only 58 because ten of them are randomly mixed and does not group up into a minimum of 5 crystals in number. Next, I just walked over to the location where all the merchants gathered and opened my store.

The moment I have the intention to open the store, the Pedlar Setup Ring begins to give out a reaction. That instant, a notification immediately appears within my eyes.

"Alright, here goes nothing." I thought. Within my Compartment Pouch, I select the 58 Small Warrior Crystal of varies colours to be sold, and to try my luck, I put in a total of 10 Blood Crystals and 10 of the Custom Goblin Armour into the system as well. The moment I decided that the item within the system is enough, it is changed into a flash as it felt like I am started to have a small but beautiful stall with a nice glass table top with the crystals within. Behind me, a total of 10 Mannequin stands, with the size of a goblin is placed with the Custom Goblin Armour on it.

The goblins that were walking around the settlement quickly pay some attention to my table top, as they have a look on the crystals I'm selling. "Kruak! Small Warrior Crystals, three Goblin Beads, Yes!" the Goblin that looks like it has quite a good potential to grow up paid me a total of 6 Goblin Beads and took a Red and Yellow Crystals away. Just like this, I received six Goblin Beads in hand.

The stall continues to open for another five hours, and finally, all the Small Warrior Crystals had been sold. In total, I've earned 174 Goblin Beads on hand, plus another 6 Goblin Beads from selling a piece of Blood Crystal. "It seems like only things that well needed by goblins are the best seller here. Since the goblin actually have their own kind of lifestyle, does this means that those goblin that visits here are more or less, richer goblins or nobles?"

I did not bother to continue thinking about that question. All I know is that I will need to refine more crystals and make some good armour If I wished to earn more money. Its just this time, Instead of human's Black Spirit Crystals, I'm earning Goblin's Goblin Bead. I head to the Goblin Blacksmith and prepares to craft some of the better Goblin Armour to sell.

But with this all within my mind, I actually failed to notice that the Status Panel just whispered a short notice.
