[Crafting New Weapon.]

I immediately choose yes, without even bothered to consider it. The next moment, the Ballista got into my control as my eyesight has a crosshair appeared in between. I stared at the Flying Axe Goblin Warrior, and instantly, like the Ballista is being controlled by my mind, the "Spearhead" within the Ballista is shot like an automatic rifle.

One will, of course, know that a ballista could only fit in a single "Spearhead" at a time, and reloading is required after each single shot. But under the battery activation, the reloading requirement, and the existence of "Spearhead" seems to be no longer a requirement, because, in the single five-second duration, a total of fifteen "Spearhead" had deeply pierced through the Goblin Warrior's body, robbing away its life almost immediately.

I looked at the remaining Goblin Warrior close to Yong Han, and with a thought, the Ballista fired again in consecution, immediately taking away the life of that Goblin Warrior as well. With the people and guards is totally shocked with what happened, the battle immediately stopped. What could be seen next, is only the group of goblins quickly escape from the battlefield, as they are afraid to be rained with those deadly "Spearhead" and fall dead like the two Goblin Warrior.

Due to the injuries and exhaustion, I fainted. The moment when I wake up, I could see quite a lot of bandages is wrapped around me. When I tried to move my hand, I actually couldn't do it. I struggle to move my head up to see what happened, until a carer appears from the door, and quickly tends to my needs.

"Young Hero, you are quite heroic. Now everyone outside is waiting for your to appear before them." the carer speaks as she changes the bandage around me. Then, a young man comes into the room I am taking a rest, and the moment I saw him, I immediately know this person's identity. "Team Leader Ling Tian Ming." I greet him. He turned and take a look at my condition before he withdraws a piece of Medium Blood Crystal and places it on my forehead.

The moment the essence is absorbed into my body, I immediately felt better, and my broken hand felt healed as well because I could move it now, compare to previously where only the finger could be felt. He then begins to speak with me. "Younger brother Lu Bu, once again, you are a big help in protecting the Ling Hun Town from falling into the Goblin Tribe's hand. This time, it is all thanks to you that the town still remains in one piece."

He continues to talk with me regarding some of the issues happened after I fainted, as well regarding the goblins attack. It seems that quite a number of people had been killed and kidnapped back to the goblin settlement, in order to increase their own strength. The Ling State had planned to make an attack towards the Goblin Tribe, but unfortunately, the North King had placed an order to all northern state to assist the Western State because they are under siege from a very dangerous Monster Tribe recently.

I asked what is the monster tribe, and Ling Tian Ming only answered me in a very simple sentence.

"Moonwolf Tribe."

Over the next few days, after I had healed from all the injuries, I actually well greeted by all the resident within the town for my bravery of handling the Goblins attack together with the other guards. Although the guards are quite helpful, of course, because I single handed killed two Goblin Warriors, this is a very respectable action in their opinion, thus I received quite a good fame from this. But what is weird about this is, nobody actually questioned me about the sudden changes on the Ballista.

I actually noticed that nobody even have a weird question regarding the Battery activation, as if they didn't see anything happened at all. Later on that day, I am escorted to a big hall within the Town Hall to have a meal together with the big shots within the town in exchange for an appreciation for helping them in defending the town. Of course, some other people came along as well, because the hero wasn't myself alone, but it is only I am more well known because I take down two Goblin Warrior by myself.

After the dinner and everything, the Town Mayor actually approached me and gave me a compartment, with a piece of paper. He told me that I could actually bring the compartment to the Compartment Upgrade Store to shift the ownership for free and take it as the reward the town gave to me. In exchange, some of the items were stored within the compartment as well, because I am unconscious the moment they found me.

I returned to the Refining Workshop, and take a rest again before I take a look at the item I had been given. The next morning, as usual, I wake up and do all my stuff before I actually take a look on the item within the compartment bag. Added some item I had in my own compartment, this time, the profit I obtained from the fight is not too shabby because, within my inventory, at least a thousand items is within. Especially two pretty special things.

What was most surprising for me is that the Goblin Essence Crystals and the 10th Grade Monster Blood Crystal. Especially the Monster Blood Crystal, unexpectedly, it is actually a Perfect Grade 10 type of item, something that even myself couldn't have possess in my equipment and any other tools. Knowing that this new item will be treated as treasure within everyone eyes, I kept them safely in my Storage Box, before I proceed to the Blacksmithing Workshop to repair my weapon, as well to craft another new weapon once again.

As usual, I went in after I paid for the entrance fee. With about 2700 Brass Rod still remains in my inventory, I first begin with crafting another set of 100 magazines of 1200 Demonic Metal Slugs to be kept in my inventory, before I start with crafting a new Demonic Air Shooter for myself. But this time, I made a few different adjustment within the blueprints, especially in modifying some of its internal function and also parts.

Equipped with the knowledge I used to have when I am still living within the earth, I immediately added my fantasized imagination into this second product, as I am struggling to recreate all the parts one by one. Starting from the frame, I begin with melting a total of fifteen, sixteen, then eighteen of the Brass Rod (1%) refine some of the 10% Brass Plated Piece. Through utilizing a more completed Brass Plated Piece, I begin to form a stronger and sturdier frame, added with a little of my own touch.

From a slightly longer barrel to a more even point that could enhance the weapon, I shift from one part to another, while adding some small little touch in each different part to make sure that this Demonic Air Shooter that I was aiming for, is a more completed version compared to my previous one. Starting from the Frame to the Barrel, Hammer, the Muzzle, Slide, Ejection Port are all customized and smoothen one after another to ensure that from the interior to exterior, this weapon is well coated and glazed with perfection and satisfaction.

The trigger had been readjusted, and in the term of Magazine, it was upgraded to a finer version that could allow twenty of the Demonic Metal Slug to be filled within. I then further enhance a few parts, such as the Recoil Spring, and added an extractor pin that could help me to remove stuck slugs in time or urgency. The Demonic Air Shooter soon completed after about four hours of effort is placed on creating it.

The moment I chose yes, this time, the light that was wrapping the weapon actually came in a bright silver colour instead of normally yellow flashing lights. The moment the weapon appears before me, its external appearance is changed, where the whole yellow golden Brass Colour is actually polished into a beautiful Silvery White. The whole gun became Silver white colour as the status of the weapon quickly appears in my status panel.

Looking at my upper-grade new weapon, I am quite delighted to successful crafted such a weapon. Happily, I repaired the first Pedlar Customized Demonic Air Shooter within my inventory, and after a happiness comes, the nightmare came as well, because the previous weapon, is destroyed before I could even properly repair it. Just like this, I end up with only one gun, once again.
