《Infinite Swordsman and His Cafe》Chapter 30: Gilgamesh II
Advertisement
Kojiro appears above Gilgamesh with his sword in hand. He swings it down toward Gilgamesh's neck, but before his sword can touch Gilgamesh's skin, a portal appears in front of him and deflects his sword. He looks at Gilgamesh, who takes out one of the swords from the portal and points it at him before disappearing from his position.
Kojiro immediately squads down as his danger sense is warning him about an attack. He looks up and sees Gilgamesh holding a sword in his hand. Before Kojiro can counter-attack, he sees a golden portal appear above him and sees many weapons pointed at him. He immediately leaped away from the Golden Archer as he barely dodged all the weapons.
When Kojiro thinks he dodges all the weapons, his instinct flares up once more, so he jumps up in the air as he sees Gilgamesh appear behind him swing down his sword. Without wasting time, Kojiro immediately takes out his handgun and fires it at Gilgamesh, who blocks it with his sword. However, because his gun has an effect of Anti-Magic and Penetration, Gilgamesh's sword is immediately cut in half as the bullet hits Gilgamesh's arms.
Gilgamesh looks at his arms and sword in surprise before laughing and then says.
"Look like I underestimate you, mongrel."
After Gilgamesh says that many golden portals appear above the Golden Archer and from the portal is a weapon of all kinds.
"Die"
Suddenly all the weapons begin launching themselves toward Kojiro. He begins to activate his spell, and suddenly he is protected by a dome made of stone. While inside the dome, Kojiro activates his 'Hien' and pushes the dome toward Gilgamesh, and when the Golden Archer is distracted by the incoming attack, Kojiro appears behind Gilgamesh and thrust his sword.
"Suzumesashi"
Four thrust attacks appear at the same time, and their target is Gilgamesh.

*Bzzt*
He widens his eyes when he sees Gilgamesh disappear. He looks up and sees Gilgamesh standing on one of the containers.
"Hmph"
Kojiro knows this is one of Gilgamesh's skills or, rather, an unknown skill he can use every time he is in danger. He sees this skill when Gilgamesh fights Kingu in the Fate Grand Order and when Angelica Ainsworth uses Gilgamesh Card to fight against Emiya Shirou.
Kojiro immediately dodges another wave of weapons coming at him. He takes out his rifle from his Pocket Dimension and fires it at Gilgamesh while dodging the attack that is coming toward him. He sees Gilgamesh try to dodge his attack, but because of his newly upgraded weapon, it becomes an automatic gun that can fire five bullets per second, so it rather difficult to dodge and with his Marksmanship, Kojiro can fire his gun while running without any difficulty.
Kojiro continues to fire his gun at Gilgamesh, who switches from attacking him to defending himself from the bullet that is coming towards him. He looks at Gilgamesh, who uses his treasure to defend himself. Seeing the opportunity, Kojiro charges at Gilgamesh while still firing his weapon. As he appears in front of Gilgamesh, Kojiro suddenly leaps away from his position and sees there is a chain coming from a golden portal.
He takes a breath for a second before charges at Gilgamesh once again. As he appears in front of the Golden Archer, he takes the right step to avoid Gilgamesh's attack, and when Gilgamesh tries to hit him with another Gate of Babylon that appears out of thin air, Kojiro jumps. When he jumps in the air, he can see a smirk on Gilgamesh's face and see there is another Gate of Babylon appearing above him. He creates a platform under his feet and dodges it to the left before swinging his sword.

"Kazaguruma"
When his sword was about to touch Gilgamesh…
*Bzzt*
Another Glitch is happening, just like last time, his sword only hitting air. He sees Gilgamesh standing on the lamp post near the container.
"You are the first opponent that makes me get serious in a fight."
Gilgamesh opens his arms just like a person wants to show his collection. When he is about to run toward Gilgamesh once again, the sky begins to shine in gold color. He looks up to the sky and sees a massive golden portal appear. Coming from the portal is a magic weapon that is used by many legendary heroes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zelretch looks at the sky and says.
"You gotta be kidding me. Holy S… Molly"
He takes Sakura with him and opens up a portal to the safe distance as Gilgamesh is getting serious in his attack. This is a combination attack of all Gilgamesh Magic wand and Magic Staff that he collects in his lifetime.
After they reach a safe distance from Gilgamesh and Kojiro, Zelretch places Sakura down to the ground.
"Why do we get away from Nii-chan?"
"Because his enemy will unleash an attack that can hurt us if we are too close."
"I see."
"Do you not worry about your Nii-chan?"
"No, Nii-chan will win!"
He smiled at Sakura's answer before looking at Kojiro's direction and sighing.
"Yeah, I hope so."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kojiro looks at the massive Golden Portal, and a second later, all the magic wands and staff that come from the portal shine brightly before releasing a spell at the same time.
*Zoom*
He looks at the incoming attack and grabs his sword tightly before saying.
"I hereby swear, I forbid the existence of things I cannot cut."
As the spell came at him, Kojiro swung his sword at the spell. He can feel his sword cut through the spell that is coming to him. For a few minutes, he continues to hold his ground while his sword continues to cut the spell. He can feel his entire muscles screaming at him because of the strain he feels by holding his sword right now. He also can feel the heat that comes from the spell beginning to affect his body.
After another minute, Gilgamesh's spells begin to disappear, and the sky begins to darken once more.
"Hahahahaha, You are indeed a worthy opponent for me, Mongrel."
He looks at the sky as Gilgamesh once again summons another Massive portal in the sky. However, Gilgamesh not only summoned his Massive Gate of Babylon on the sky but also many small Gate of Babylon behind him.
"Come! You should be honored to witness the full might of my Treasury! Come Mongrel! Show me your true strength!"

Flashback: Siren Song
The year is 1969. Yancy Lazarus—bluesman, gambler, future world-class mage and fix-it man—is just a dumb, unlucky kid serving with the 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines in Vietnam.With just a few weeks left to go until Yancy gets shipped back to the States, he’s just trying to keep his head down and avoid a body bag—no mean feat in Nam. But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away.When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. At least until the men in Yancy’s squad start losing their minds, turning on each other with murderous intent as the music works its deadly power within them. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him. Only one thing is certain, nothing is ever going to be the same.See how it all began … *** PRAISE FOR SIREN SONG:Hunter's writing is as low-down, gritty, and insidious as the blues Yancy Lazarus loves. Just like the mysterious music drifting through the jungle toward Yancy's squad, Siren Song will get under your skin and sink its hooks into your mind. —eden Hudson, Author of Halo Bound (the Redneck Apocalypse series) *** Hey everyone, this is James Hunter.
