The next day, Kojiro wakes up earlier than usual and goes to the training room. This is the training room he created the other day, but he was able to upgrade it with the local material. As he got inside, he was greeted by a robotic voice echoing inside the room.
"Please choose the difficulty."
"Servant type, A-rank parameter."
"Processing… The simulation will start in 3… 2… 1…"
He looks at his enemy and begins to appear once by one. In front of him are two figures that look like a mannequin holding a sword, shield, and staff. Those three become his usual enemy when he trains inside the simulation room. Those three mannequins are the perfect servants because of their parameters. All of them have A-rank in all of its parameters, including the magic-user.
With those three as his enemy, Kojiro can increase his endurance and strength a little bit every time he fights them. He summons his sword and blocks the incoming attack from Saber. He then leaps away from Saber and takes a deep breath before saying.
"Let's do this."

"Haaa… Haaa... "
He looks at the body of his enemy (mannequin) and makes his sword disappear. In this fight, Kojiro decided to use both his sword and his gun or at least the handgun, not the big gun. He must say that using both sword and gun at the same time is difficult, especially with a sword, like the one he has. Monohoshi Zao is 150 centimeters long, which makes him a little hard to aim while also blocking the attack from his enemy.
"Congratulations, would you like to go to the next stage?"
"No"
After saying that, Kojiro gets up and goes to the bathroom to take a shower. When he is done taking a shower, he then goes to the kitchen and prepares himself to open his cafe. He then begins to bake some cake while his brewing machine to the job brewing the coffee and the other drink.

He doesn't need to go to the supplier anymore because Yasaka ordered her servant to deliver the ingredients he needed for his cafe. Of course, he pays for all of it, Yasaka tries to pay for all the cost, but he doesn't want it. He is rather grateful for Yasaka Servant to do the ingredient shopping so he can do some quick patrol around Kyoto. Well, Kojiro calls it night stroll, but he also searches for any Stray Devil or any magical beast that threatens the peace in Kyoto and deals with it.
After he finishes cooking this day home special, he walks outside and switches the sign to open.

Kuroka the Nekoshou, the Stray Devil. Kuroka is one of the few Stray Devil that still retains its sanity. Many Stray Devil like her become insane because they absorb so many Chaotic Demonic Energy and make their Devil Pieces unstable. The other Stray Devil become what they are now because of their need to get power and free themself from the cruel master, or their only reason is to become more powerful. Kuroka becomes the Stray Devil because she kills her former master Fazio Naberius. Kuroka kills her former master not because she wants more power but rather to protect her beloved sister Shirone or now known as Koneko Toujou.
When Kuroka hears Shirone change her name, she becomes sad for at least a week because she decides to abandon her birth name and choose the name her new master gives her.
She sighs, thinking about her sister before looking at her current boss. Right now, she is working for Ophis, the Dragon of Infinite, to fight the Great Red. She doesn't know how they will do it, but she knows that it will not be easy or outright impossible to do. However, the members of the Khaos Brigade didn't want to question Ophis.
Currently, they are walking in the city of Kyoto, the capital of the Youkai faction. She is not comfortable inside the city, where many people can see through her nature as Nekoshou. Kuroka suddenly stops and sees Ophis look at one particular building. She looks at the sign that says 'Leblanc Cafe' and an incredible aroma coming from the building.

When Kuroka sees Ophis reach the door, she grabs Ophis's hand and says.
"Emmm, Ophis-sama. We don't bring any money with us. So I suggest we go back to the base and ask for some money from the other"
Ophis tilted her head to the right with a blank expression before saying.
"Money?"
"Errr, Money is something you need to exchange for something you want."
"...En. Have money."
"Eh? Really?"
"En"
"Okay, then."
Ophis then opens the door to the cafe and goes inside the cafe.

While serving his customer, Kojiro heard another customer walk inside and go to the counter. He looked at the new customer and was surprised a little because the two of them are rather famous.
Those two are Kuroka, the Nekoshou, and Ophis, the Dragon of Infinite.
Kuroka is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, long black hair with split bangs, and hazel-gold eyes with cat-like pupils. Her attire consists of a black kimono, a yellow obi, a set of golden beads, and an ornately detailed headband.
While Ophis's appearance is that of a cute young girl with long black hair down to her hips and gray eyes, her ears differ from an average human's as they have pointed tips, although her long black hair makes this feature difficult to notice. Her dark grey eyes have reptilian slitted pupils. Her attire consists of a black Gothic Lolita fashion. However, just by looking at her, Kojiro feels that the police will come after him. The only thing that covers Ophis Nips is an X shape sticker.
"Hello, we want some… Nya?"
"J-Just hold for a second."
He immediately goes upstairs and picks up some jacket he has and then goes to Ophis and covers her body with it.
"There… Now, what can I do for you?"
"I want green tea and some Cheesecake. What do you want, Ophi… Oph-sama?"
"Ummmm"
Ophis looks at the menu for half a minute before pointing her finger to the food and drinks she wants.
"Alright, for the pretty lady here, is Green Tea and Cheesecake while young ladies here want Ice Chocolate with mint, Egg Custard, Lava Cake, and Chocolate Pudding."
"Yup~."
"Please wait for a minute."
A few minutes later, Kojiro comes back from the kitchen while bringing the food and drink Kuroka and Ophis ordered.
"Please enjoy it."
After giving the food and drink to them, he walks to the youkai that calls him from the table in the corner. He continues to serve another customer, and after 15 minutes, Kuroka calls him.
"It was delicious-nya~."
"Thank you."
"Ophi… Oph-sama will pay the bill"
He looks at Ophis and smiles a little.
"En, Here Money"
He looks at the thing Ophis gives him. It was a purple snake that began to slither around his arms.
"Eh?"
Kojiro tries to look at Ophis but sees that Ophis and Kuroka are gone. He tries to search for them via magic sense, but he can't find them.
"Hissss"
"What just happened?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kuroka looks at Ophis after she pays the cafe owner with her 'money.' Kuroka doesn't know what Ophis is thinking, giving a normal human her snake.
"Ummm, Ophis-sama. Why are you giving him the snake?"
"Mu? Money"
"What?"
"I want cake and give him a snake. So money"
Kuroka doesn't know how to think about that. Maybe it was her fault not giving the full explanation about money to Ophis.
BODY&SHADOW
AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.
The Order
The Order takes place within the Human-led Empire, within Glory City. In this Empire in which Magic is policed and its use is regulated, Mages are required to have a licence in order to practice Magic. The Magically inclined, Non-Human Races that have lived under Human rule lived a markedly different life to Humans, which had led to a somewhat contentious relationship. A law enforcement agency known as The Order is responsible for maintaining Magical order, and is also responsible for doling out justice to those who break the law. Consisting of the Magic using Mages, and the more technologically inclined Knights, these Agents are regarded as protectors by some, but as oppressors by many. The tale follows the exploits of Izano Zuko, a mysterious man, covered from head to toe in burn scars and wrapped in bandages. He arrives in Glory City with the backing of the City Lord, unknown abilities and secret intentions. Trouble starts up almost as soon as he arrives, and Zuko is thrown into a conflict between the Order and an unknown enemy. This is a complete book, and I plan to upload a chapter every week or so. No cover as yet.
