When the light vanishes, Kojiro looks at his surroundings and sees that he is standing on top of many corpses of children. He looks at his master and sees it was a monster that summoned him that looked at him as if he is a piece of juicy meat.

"Kekekeke, Finally! With this spirit, I can be ascended into Satan Class devil, KEKEKEKEKE."

He looks at the monster in front of him. It has the shape of a man but with a foot of goats. The monster also has a horn of a goat and a tail of a goat. Kojiro thinks that this monster's appearance is too much like the satan that is portrayed by social media.

"Are you the one who did this?"

"Kekeke, but of course. I did this to summon you so I can absorb all your magic for myself, KEKEKEKE."

Without saying anything, Kojiro takes his sword from his back, and suddenly Kojiro disappears.

Suddenly Kojiro appears behind the monster with his blade on his hand stained with blood. As for the monster, it is dead because Kojiro cut its head as he drew his sword.

Kojiro looks around the area and sees that he is inside of some kind of a garage, Kojiro also sees many drugs and weapons inside the garage. It Looks like he was summoned inside a garage of a gangster of the mafia, where the monster kills the guard and uses this place as his base for kidnapping children and using it to sacrifice for summoning a greater spirit. Unfortunately, the monster summoned a servant instead, while it was true that a servant is a greater spirit.

While he looks around the garage, he sees a floating paper near him and picks it up then reads it.

After reading it, the piece of paper becomes a mote of light and gets absorbed by Sasaki Kojiro. After the light is fully absorbed, a blue box appears in front of him, Kojiro can see his stat just like a Gamer ability, but this box only lets him see his stats nothing more.

When Kojiro is about to get out of the garage, he hears a muffled sound coming from the corner of the garage. He then slowly walked toward the location with his sword in his hand.

"MMMMM MMMMM MMMMM"

As he gets closer to the sound, it becomes more like the sound of a child being held, hostage. He quickly throws away the box filled with drugs and illegal weapons and sees a girl is being tied and gagged.

"Hang in there, alright. I will help you."

Without thinking twice, Kojiro cut the rope that bound the little girl and took off the gag from her mouth.

"Are you okay?"

"En, Thank you, mister."

"It's no problem. What is your name?"

"Hmmm, my name is Kunou."

"I see, then Kunou, how are you getting in here?"

Kunou then tells him about how she got kidnapped by the creepy man after the man killed all her bodyguards. She also tells him how he uses his magic to make her weaker, so she can't use her power against the man. After hearing her, Kojiro knows that Kunou is not walking around Kyoto alone but with her bodyguard that gets killed because they are protecting their princess. Sadly they can't beat the monster as he is an ultimate being.

"Do you know the way to your home? I will take you there, okay?"

"En, Thank you, mister."

"It's no problem, little lady, and my name is Sasaki Kojiro. Nice to meet you."

Kojiro then takes Kunou to her home, and because she can't walk because of the magic that makes her weak, Kojiro takes her via piggyback. Kojiro walks around the Kyoto street at night while singing some songs that he hears from his former master. They continued to walk around the street for 10 minutes before Kunou pointed at the biggest temple he had ever seen so far in Kyoto. While climbing the stairs, Kojiro hears, shouting, coming from the gate of the temple. As he looks up, he sees a beautiful woman shouting in distress at her guard. The women have the same race as Kunou, which is Nine-Tailed Fox Yokai. The woman has the same hair color as Kunou and eyes. The only difference is her hair, and the woman has longer hair than Kunou.

"MOTHER"

Seeing her mother, Kunou shouted from his back, and when hearing Kunou's voice, the woman began to run at him. Seeing the woman approaching, Kojiro put down Kunou slowly on the ground as the woman hugged her tightly in her embrace. Kojiro smiles a little as the Mother and Daughter hug each other while Kunou cries at her mother's embrace.

Seeing that he is not needed anymore, Kojiro starts to walk away from the temple to search for a place to sleep.

"Where do you think you are going?"

However, before he could walk away, The woman called him. He stops from his track and looks at the woman and says.

"I need to search for someplace to sleep, so excuse me."

"You just save my daughter and expect that I don't do something about it? Please come to my palace, and you can spend the night inside the palace."

As Kojiro wants to reject the woman's offer, he looks at Kunou pleading eyes and hears her say.

"Please…"

Seeing her pleading eyes and hearing her voice, Kojiro can't say no to that. So he accepted the offer to stay at the palace for the night.

Kojiro goes inside the palace with Kunou holding his and the woman's hand. The woman then invites him to the dining room where the woman orders her servant to prepare some feast.

"Sasaki-dono, could you tell me what is happening?"

"Please, call me Kojiro and for what is happening…"

While waiting for the food to arrive, Kojiro began to explain the situation to the woman or known as Yasaka, the leader of the Youkai faction. He then explains that he was in the area after his house got burned down by accident and smelled a foul aroma coming from the nearest garage, so he investigated it and saw a stray devil try to do some kind of ritual using the life force of a child to fuel it.

After finishing explaining the edited version of the real event, Yasaka nodded her head and looked him in the eye then said.

"Thank you for the help Kojiro-san. By your description, that stray devil is Ryan the Chimera. He was one of the most dangerous Stray Devil that have a power of High Ultimate being"

"I see."

Kojiro then began to think that he was lucky that Ryan underestimated him, so he was able to cut his head off before he was able to attack him first.

"Yes, He also has bounty you can take if you give his head to the Naberius in the underworld."

"No, you can take the money."

"Are you sure? He has huge money on his head."

"... Then can I request a house for my permanent place to stay."

"Are you sure? I can grant your request for your service for saving my daughter."

"No… a house is more than enough for me."

"I see, then on behalf of Youkai faction, I must say thank you."

A few seconds later, the food arrived, so they began to eat and drink some wine. While Gabriel Revaldi is not an alcoholic as he can't take alcohol well, Kojiro is a different matter.

After he finished eating, Kojiro then follows the maid to his room, and after he lay down on his bed, he began to think about the specialty he wants using Inspired Inventor.

After ordering some of her servants to lead Kojiro-dono to his room, Yasaka and Kunou also go to their bedroom.

"Mother, why do you quickly accept his reasoning?"

"I ashamed to do something like that, but we need that reward that Naberius family give to the head of Ryan the Chimera."

"What kind of reward do they offer for the creepy man?"

"5 dozen of Phoenix Tears and some money."

"I see."

"Yes, While we need the money as well for the repair of our other city that the Stray Devil destroyed, it was not the real thing I wanted. The item that we need right now is the Phoenix Tears. We need it because of its effect of being able to heal mortals or even a god in their dying breath. With Amaterasu-sama and Susanoo-sama in their dying breath, we need the Phoenix Tears even more."
