It's been a week since Marcos has transported to this place. Now marcos was roasting a rabbit while he looked at his status.

'A week of practicing basic mana gathering and 0. 5 was added' Marcos sighed.
'A normal creature when killed it gives me a 1 exp I don't know how many exp can I loot if I kill a rank 1 beast, well if I see any rank 1 it can kill me in an instant'
Marcos walked a few kilometers before he saw a village.
"I finally saw a village" Marcos walked towards the village excitedly.
Marcos entered the village. He saw many children playing tag. He remembered this body have little sister. 'Sigh... I wonder how she's doing I hope she's fine' Marcos sighed that was this body's little sister and not his but since this body was his now and he inherited this body's memory he felt that little sister was his own when the memories flooded through his brain he felt like he was one who experienced everything that happen to this body he can feel this body's emotions.
But I don't even know which direction his city and he can't go back in the city for now because the son of the city lord have enmity in this body. He can't confront that person when the city lord has his back and he doesn't even have a background.
He went to store to bought some clothes. After he bought new clothes he immediately change his clothes to a new clothes.
He asked a middle aged man about this village and where is the next village or city.

'That's the last money I have now that I don't have any money I need to find a way to earn a money' Marcos thought.
Marcos went to the near city. He walked to the city for about 1 week. During that week Marcos finally level up to 1 it gives him 3 stat point's.

Marcos add 1p to strength, 1p to agility, and 1p to defense. During that time his mana also his to 0. 9 from 0. 5.
Marcos walk to the gate of the city. The guards blocked his path.
"1 silver coin to enter" One of the guards said.
"I don't have money" Marcos replied as he looked at the guards.
"Then piss off if you don't have money" One of the guards sneered.
Marcos glared at the guards before he turned around.
'I need an information about this world'
Marcos came back to village after a week of walking. He found a job where he was the one who will butcher the chicken. This job can give him 1exp per chicken he killed.
When marcos cleaned himself. The villager can't believed what they saw marcos. Marcos is so handsome when the girls saw marcos looks they can't look away as their eye's glued on marcos. Marcos immediately became the center of attraction in the whole village. Many young boys envied marcos as he was the one the girls always talking about.
Marcos looked at the reflection of himself in the water. 'Fuck, I now this body is handsome but now I saw this, this level of handsomeness, that's why the girl's in the village kept glancing at me' Marcos was shocked by his look. Maybe he can build a harem here since there's no law here that you can only marry one wife.

A month has passed and still many girls came to where marcos was working just to catch a glimpse of him.
Marcos became stronger in this month his mana became 1. 5 from 0. 9 in this month. Marcos earned a bit money and he bought a sword. Marcos now was a Mana gathering stage 1 magus in name only as he don't know any skill or spell.
'When my mana breakthrough to 1 that's the time why I looked at my status I saw the words Mana gathering stage 1'
After finishing his shift Marcos went to the near forest to train his hand to hand combat style.
After he finish his training marcos walked out of the forest. He saw a smoke coming from the village.
When he entered the village he was shocked he saw a beast eating the villagers. Marcos looked around and he saw many corpse his mind went blank. His eye's grew colder as he walked towards the beast.
The beast notice Marcos and it stop eating the beast looked at marcos as it roar.
ROAR!!
Marcos dashed towards the beast and he punch it.
Boom!!
The beast looked like a tiger with a scale. The beast swept it's tail to Marcos.
Bam!
Marcos flew towards the house. Marcos stood up and he saw a sword inside the house he immediately picked up the sword and unsheathed it as he test it's sharpness.
Marcos felt a huge shadow behind him. He turned around he saw the beast pouncing at him. Marcos rolled sideways while he slashed his sword.
SHINGG!!
A sound like metal clashing produced when his sword clash to the beast scale.
The beast crushed inside the house. Marcos jump to the beast as he pierce his sword to it's eye. Marcos loosen his grip to the sword and he fall to the ground. He immediately stood up and looked at the beast he saw the was in a berserk state. Marcos dashed forward he dodged the beast claw by a hair's breath and he accurately punch the handle of the sword.
When Marcos punch the handle of the sword the sword went deep as it pierce through it's head. It fell to the ground lifelessly.
*Ding*
[Congratulation host for first time killing a rank 1 beast]
[Reward:50 points and 50 exp]
Marcos turned around and he saw another beast looking at him. He pulled his sword and he form his stance while looking at the beast.
ROAR!!
The beast roar and he pounce towards Marcos.
"Ahhh!! "
Marcos dashed to beast.

Sword System Academia
2/17 NOTICE: I'm putting this on hiatus, possibly permanently. I didn't want to spam with an "update chapter", so hopefully here and in the story blurb will get enough eyeballs. There are a couple reasons for ending SSA for now. 1) I wrote the next chapter but wasn't happy with it. I've been less and less satisfied with SSA's quality the more I thought about it. Part of the reason is... 2) I am seriously thinking about trying to publish some novels to help pay the bills, since I don't have my other source of income anymore. I have never asked for anything from SSA readers, no money, not even a review or rating. SSA is written for fun to amuse myself, primarily, and I would kind of feel bad actually charging someone money for something as unserious as that. I don't think it is good enough to ask anything in return. To use an analogy from music, SSA is more like a jam session with a bunch of friends. You're just chiling and having fun playing some music. I mean, if you are Mozart or even Eminem, your jam session is good enough to sell, but for an amateur beginner like myself, haha, no. If I want to publish something, I feel like I need to go the proper route of practice and rehearsals, which might be more similar to a classical concert performance. With SSA, I work from worldbuilding notes and a loose outline, but what you are essentially getting is the first draft with lots of so-called pantsing. Pushing out a web novel like this also means it is very difficult to go back and improve things without breaking everything else downstream. I wanted to try this "jamming" approach, as it was a good way to teach me about another aspect of writing, but to move forward, I think I need to hone my "classical" techniques, which emphasize rewriting, or at least, revising outlines. 3) While I intend to try to make $$$, my actual current goal is to "get gud". I've spent a lot of time recently trying to understand the self-publishing industry, and I'm pretty sure I can make some money by using short-term strategies with my current amateur skill level. But I've seen too many authors come and go/burnout, and really, the only way that I think I can enjoy writing and still make money on a long-term basis is to become a better writer. And the next step for me, which I haven't done much before, is to spend more time on rewriting and outlines. That is pretty much antithetical to the way SSA is developing. I've always been kind of 20/80 plotting/pantsing, but I want to spend a lot more time outlining before I even start writing. SSA jam sessions don't really fit my goal anymore. If you're curious about what's next, read on... Among other regrets, I regret not finishing SSA. It's the first story I've dropped, but then again, it's the first web novel I've attempted, so I suppose that's not a surprise. I don't think traditional web novel formats suit me that well. The whole SSA story I had loosely planned (beyond a first book or major arc) is way too large as well. Big story = good for neverending webnovel with Patreons, bad for penniless and fickle writer like me. I am currently outlining a complete trilogy to another story in great detail. I want the story to end concisely, and I also want the chance to really spend a lot of time on the full outline to spot pacing problems, character issues, lost themes, and so on. I'll still share this story on RR. What I intend to do is finish book 1, flash-publish the whole thing here for a few weeks, then publish on the big Zon. Repeat for books 2 and 3. The upcoming story will be about crafting heroes. The backdrop is an isekai-like setting, where elves will summon humans to their world as heroes, but the whole hero crafting business is still in its infancy. The elven mage researchers are figuring out how to imbue heroes with power, while the heroes are trying to figure out how to use the powers that they gain. Humans are the best hero templates because they are blank and have no intrinsic magic. Or at least that what the elves thought. The human MC has his own secrets... There will be some similarities with litrpgs, but I would call it more a progression fantasy or gamelit story. For example, the stats are very low, at least initially. Say we have a stat called Str. Going from Str = 1 to Str = 2 is a huge deal. Also, going from Dex = 0 to Dex = 1 is an even bigger deal. I guess you could call it a "low-stat litrpg", haha. Also, the heroes won't be gaining stats simply by killing things or leveling up. You can't increase stats arbitrarily, either. There will be rules to how stats can increase, and how they work with each other. The elven mages will be figuring out these rules in order to craft stronger and stronger heroes. Some inspiration will be from cultivation magic systems, but there won't be overt cultivation, at least for now. A theme I really want to explore is the idea of interactions. That includes things like hero crafter vs hero, tactics vs strategy, skill synergies, racial interactions (dwarves, elves, etc), and son. Yeah, so hero crafting.
