《The Birth of the God of Mana》Magic in the Fiction

Will be updating this page as I come up with new issues that need to be addressed.... also If you see anything that doesn't make sense relating to magic, post it here in the comments.
Standard Magic System:
Mages must learn and memorize the Spell Circles that were created by an ancient race that has long since been wiped out because of their supreme control of magic. These spell circles have layers. Basic spells have one circle, the most advance spell known to man and elf is a 100 circle spell known only as Armageddon. It has never been cast because of people’s fear of the effects. Seriously it’s called armageddon, what do you think it’s going to do.
Mage ranks- there are ten ranks with ten sub ranks. Apprentice, Mage, Grand Mage, Archmage, Emperor Mage, Conqueror Mage, Demi-God Mage , Lesser God Mage, Mid God Mage, True God Mage.
Warrior ranks- there are ten ranks with ten sub ranks. Squire, Knight, Cavalry, Berzerker, Emperor Knight, Conqueror Knight, Demi-God Knight , Lesser God Knight, Mid God Knight, True God Knight.
Once a person reaches Demigod Rank, they become an immortal. A king would usually be of the level just below Emperor.
I decided that I’m going to remove the skills and stats, because I think that meditation training would make more sense (I also don’t feel like figuring out stats stuff.) Their are other reasons that I just can't remember...........
Spoiler :
Finally what you’ve all been waiting for, the main character’s OP ability…. The main character George as a child as you know made a ball of mana called Balley. This ball being so small and elves high mana regeneration rate, never had to leave George.
Because George keeps Balley around for so long, George will become unable to dispel Balley. After Balley is around for a while, it will eventually start taking more and more mana, basically becoming an external storage of mana for George. Through the ball, George can manipulate the mana like Gaara's sand ( the guy from naruto) as long as the mana is still slightly attached to the ball even by a thin thread of mana, the ball can reabsorb the mana.

As the ball constantly absorbs George’s mana as fast as he can generate it, he becomes unable to cast spells the conventional way. He will go through a period where he does not know about Balley taking his mana. Eventually someone (possibly the god known as Author) will inform George of the powers of the ball and his rise to godhood will begin.

A potent tale of self-discovery. Centuries ago, the prophetic Golden Age ended in war, and history spiraled into darkness... Now, only scholars retain the last portent of the mythic city A'lara, concealed in a distant glade for the advent of the dragon mage. At the edge of the Known World, the slave Larin escapes her new lord before she meets his dark masters. Deep in the mountains, the legendary elf Kingard awaits his call to battle. When young Darek flees imperial mages tasked to exterminate shape-shifters, he launches them all on a voyage to redeem their unsought destiny. United by fate and guided by prophesy, their growing band of fugitives journey for A'lara to fight the ancient evil infiltrating the capital. But looming over the gears of fate, their enemies follow the same prophesies. With the unknown close upon them, Kingard and his allies face a mortal quest to restore their infected empire. Praise for Awakening: If you love Anne McCaffrey, J.R.R. Tolkien and Tad Williams, then Awakening is a novel you will surely want to pick up. D.N.Frost is a consummate world-builder with a knack for creating characters that are complex and three-dimensional. Frost writes with graceful prose that is descriptive and well-edited. The plot is fast-paced and entertaining. What really sets this novel apart is the cartography, which is a spectacular accomplishment. Incredible world-building! - M.L. Spencer, author of The Rhenwars Saga ★★★★★ This novel was published in 2014, and it includes 19 antique watercolor maps! Check them out: Maps of Awakening: an atlas directory
8 140Demon Hunters
Far in the future, the last two viable cities in the western hemisphere – Technoburbia and New Baravia – struggle for control over a vast and largely desolate land. Officially they are at war. In practice, the war has been a stalemate for a generation, the disputed frontier between the two city-states never moving. In the city of New Baravia itself, a vast circular concrete wall keeps its inhabitants in, and its refugees out. For its citizens, life is monotonous and unequal, with enormous wealth in the hands of nobles, criminal gangs, and entertainment bosses. It is the last of these that control the hit entertainment show, “Demon Hunters”. A chance, perhaps, for the ordinary man or woman to rise up, and change their fate... This LitRPG novella is based around a futuristic battle-royale situation, partly set in VR, and partly in a post-apocalyptic city. The story features combat and action, some strong language, and lots of great characters that will stick with you! [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
