CHAPTER 09 – White Fox Girl & Battle in Casino

After ray out of the shop he move to seek something interesting, in this shoping distric everything man can think they sell just like what in front ray right now, slave house.

‘if you want a servant just buy a slave or two” he still remember what ideos said to him before, altought he doesn’t really need a slave but it’s a lonely journey if you do it alone so why not.

There is many case one become a slave the first is lose in war, then big debt, human trafficking, and criminals. When ray got into the building a middle age man greet him with a smile that not really good to see.

“im the owner of this slave house, do you want to buy one young master” the man greet ray with respect after he see his sword and gauntlet, its overprice product not far from his store so he know that this young man actually have money.

“can I see first” ray reply him casually

“as you wish” then the man take him inside the store where theres many people from all race that become a slave and ready to sold, its two-story building and there are hundred slave in chain line up.

“so, do you have something in mind?” the slave dealer said

“can you show me a female one, one can cook and pretty is a must” ray said little interest in his game

“come to this room” the man then show ray one of many room “all in this room young & virgin one, and become a slave under a circumstances”

Ray then see twenty girl in chain, really good female in their prime age and all of them beauty, he cant really chose which the best from all of it but he already have his choice.

“how much must I pay for the last girl” ray said to the slave owner

“a white fox tribe girl I see, because its unsold one and not really many want a beastman slave even if they beauty and strong.. how about 100 gold coin” the slave owner tell ray,

After ray and Olivia stood in magical circle then the slave owner began to recite a simple yet complex magic spell…

‘with blood pact establish, one cant harm the one he serve, one cant disobey the one he serve, only death will sparate the two’

‘im familiar and think I hear this spell long ago, but is for this they use it?” ray mutter a word

After ray give her a drop of his blood a mark appear in olivia right hand, a mark of silver chain.

“now she officially your slave, if you ever want to buy a new one just come to this place later young master”

Ray then walk out from the slave house with Olivia, she really a beautiful girl even with only a piece of white cloth and … ‘she don’t wear anything !!’ ray only know rightnow then he take one of his old boots from his backpack and take him to nearby shop to make her new, he then buy her a new robe, a pair of normal cloths, leather glove, and backpack

Because all the thing he buy he only had 50 gold coin right now, he spent almost all his fortune in just a few hours, he then take her to a good restaurant because he is hungry and food is top priority over items.

“do you want to eat anything Olivia” ray ask her after they got seat

“tell what you want to eat, I will pay it don’t worry alright” once again ray tell her to order something,

“then I will order something for you”

Ray then make a big order in the restaurant after he see the price range from 1-5 silver each,

Beef stew, steak, fried golden fish, baked leg of young deer, chiken soup, a juice of carrot&orange, fried potato, and one each of the list in the menu that almost 20 kind of different food,

After see ray began to eat finally Olivia eat the food infront of him, tears?.. ray see tears drop from her eyes, now he know why he quite all the time but he just continue his meal.

“alright then, just drink the juice or tea but don’t drink that one ok” he point the one that carrot&orange mix juice

“good girl” wait a while I will finish it

After one hours later ray finally finish his meal, there Olivia asleep after waiting ray finish his meal..

“its ten gold sir”

From big appatie comes a big price, its not wrong if he must pay 10 gold because he eat soo much that make the shop owner smile.

After he wake Olivia up, they then out from restaurant so ray can go to a new place, its still 10 o’clock and the sun still shine brightly… ‘time to make some cash’

Ray then stop his step infront a big building, Luca Casino.

It’s a big gambling place where everything can become a bet piece except .

There a big board beside the entrance that seems a rule before one can enter the building, there three rule one must never forget,

The casino is the biggest building in the city, and if you think it just your average casino then you really wrong, from ding-dong slot, roulette, black jack, billiard, poker, horse race, arm wrestling, and many more, even colossium .

Ten of thousand people bet their life, some one work to bet, and some one life to bet, its betting place where one out as a hero or beggar and you can only chose one of this.

Even the gold exchanger in this place, so when you want to covert a gold to silver you must come to this place.

Ray along with Olivia walk in the casino to see something to play, its playground if he think.. even if people play it with money it still something ray doesn’t really know how to work and its interesting new experience for him.

First he and oivia come to roulette game, it’s a game where you must chose between bet on odd or color, theres 9 odd bet which pay out is different, but if one chose to bet on color the pay out is 1:1 bet, here ray play roulette for two round where he bet on color and he win 10 gold for it,

Next he came to slot machine, luck game where your eye and memories is one of factor to win, here he win again for 100 piece of silver.

Then he go to poker site, it’s a good card game where you bet on your card… its range from a pair to royal flush card to win this game, for 5 set of game ray win 4 times and lose 1 times, he still got a profit 100gold.

In black jack he lose 4 times, not even won once and lose 40 gold.

Lastly he came to the center of casino, in here there a ‘colossium guest’.

Just as the name said you bet on the fighter on the ring or bet on yourself if you fight on the ring, so?... ray then bet on himself on the fighting ring.

After the last fight end, the master of ceremony call for the new challenger which ray come to the arena,

“do you want to fight young man?” the man ask ray after he said he want to fight

“its 100g to bet on your self you know, and we don’t really care even if you are amature if you have money on you”

After ray give his money he mc then ask for his name and his job if he had one

“The new challenger appear, even if he still young he is a C rank adventure so don’t worry if you want to bet on him and had a little faith… IGNARIS RAY !!” he finish his sentences with a loud shout

“no weapon allow ray” the mc said to ray before he got into the ring, ray then give his sword and robe to Olivia from here on he ready to fight for a day or two.

In the ring there are two fighter a human youth and wolf man, from the difference in height the spectator can see who is having advantage with gap of 50cm, even if the youth had a small posture he had a good muscle body, one can see how much he train his body by see him just wearing his shirt (after ray remove his lether vest).

The odd of the fight 1:5 for wolf man Volren because he already win the last fight.

“you out of the ring you lose, you down for 10 second you lose, knock out you lose, and don’t kill you opponent if you can” the reffere said to the two of them

“fight !!”

The ring only 6x6 meter square so the fight really a close one, the wolf man begin his attack with a powerful kick to ray face where ray only had a single step to dodge it, then they exchange some punch and kick to each other, ‘its not so tough’ ray thought a second after recive a few blow from volren,

He then do two feint jab to the face and finish him with a kick in the stomatch, K.O.

“Winner Ignaris Ray” the reffere shout after see Volren get unconscious ,

“you get 10% of the bonus bet and your bet for this win, and for your information you must fight two more before you can step down.. oh don’t worry if you lose in next match you can have you win right now and if you win you bet will winning bet will become 400G, don’t forget 20% of bonus bet if you win next match and 30% for the last match” the reffere stop ray before he step down to the ring

“Is there any new Challenger”

In the next two match ray win both of it with K.O just like this one, the second match agains a human adventure veteran B rank name grill, and the last match again Auger an asmodian race which seems not a fair fight if one see it, but ray defeat it in just a minute after match begin.

After the fight end ray name seems become quite know by the people in the casino, for three streak win its really big deal alright.

“800 gold coin for your winning bet, and 6.000 gold coin for the bonus bet its really good to know you young man, a strong human really rare you know and the last fighter is a veteran in this arena rarely lose to anyone”

Ray jaw almost touch the floor because he win soo much money, its really soo much that he don’t ever think about it. But, if you count the spectator maybe the casino owner win much more than ray because there more than 10.000 people bet on the people on the arena.

‘the right man in the right place’
