CHAPTER 08 - Tourist City of Luca

its been two week after ray became an adventure and he already make 720 gold coin just by gathering herb plant,

twice he hunt monster but its under circumstances where a small village under attack by horde of goblin.

he had large sum of gold in his backpack and its time to the next town, if you ask how much is 700 gold coin then

you must know that average normal soldier salary just 3 gold a month, just 3 gold !!.

for one silver some one can live two days with bread and water, a piece of bread is one silver coin

one glass of bee & ale at inn and pub is one large copper coin, a decent meal 5 large copper coin. so basicly one gold coin

is already big sum of money.

after finish his quest that day ray then depart, eventhough its a good town but theres not many good stuff here,

and the really good stuff is the many monster around the town, so he will head to the next destination Tourist

city of Luca.

if you go with horse from calius you can get there by three days but in hippogriff just four hours, it is one

of the biggest city wuin kingdom had with almost 150.000 population you could say its really big city.

because he already become adventure theres no need to pay tax to town if there an adventure guild there, but its

not valid in merchant case. "now this is what you call city" ray said after he see how much people in the road,

"whats that" after ray walk a few step he see a big monument which he doesnt know

"its a clock ..umm.. kid" someone said something to him and after he see its just a human kid

"hey dont call your senior a kid" ray said atop guts, its not easy to ride a hippogriff even for anyone so the kid

take a few step after ray say it

"oh.. are you afraid?" then ray jump down from guts to see the kid, its 9-11 years old kid alright

"so kid... what is clock?" ray ask ..

"you just few centimeter tall than me huh... and you dont know clock, then yo must be a kid" the kid said

"humm... alright its good to be a kid ... continue" ray then smile brightly that irritate the kid

"continue what?"

"tell me about the clock... that one, is that a monument of something" ray said pointing th clock

"no itsnt, its a tools to tell time.. and theres 13 time a day "

"wow that thing tells time?.. so cool, what time its now tell me... if i see there maybe its 7 ..."

"yeah its 7 o'clock"

"thanks kid.. whats your name again, i will buy you.. how about that if you tell me some more" ray pointing nearby icecream

"really !! my name Ash just like the hero Ash Marvin" ash said

after buy a chocolate and mango icecream flavour which he pay one silver for it, ray then talk with ash in nearby beanch.

there ray hear some story for this city, just a rough one like where the shoping distric, and good place for tourist and adventure

to spend their time, there even a casino and game zone. Ash is a orphan from war 7 years ago because of that he always dream to become

an adventure so he can out of this town someday.

"who are they ash?" ray ask about a group of blue suit teenager,

"ohh.. they are student of wuin royal knight school"

"school?" once again ray doesnt know anything about the world

"they said its the place where you study to become a knight, and not many people can join them"

'Wuin Royal Knight School'

its a famous school that build to educate talent young people in wuin kingdom, every years only 1000 out of

ten of thousand youth who success its exam so they can join the school, they teach from aritmatic, horsmanship, alchemy,

weapons mastery, magic, and the most important entique.

student in study from age 10-18, everyone of them is the best youth in the kingdom, They are the pride and precious gem

of the kingdom that will become heroes in any time,

from years 7 the student will be test to become an adventure or soldier in training

and will commision to some city in the kingdom.

after depart from ash which he begin to call ray as brother after he tell he is an adventure ray then promise

he will come to his place if he have a time, because its still early he go to shopping distric in east side of city.

after he get into the city he can see thousand people there but its more crowded here, ten of thousand man from all race

you can see cat,wolf,rabit,hawk man there, even an auger is not rare even tought many people avoid it

he see a fancy weapon shop in the street and he ride guts there which he stop by a guard after just a few step.

"kid you cant take your hippogriff to shoping area" said a young officer

"oh is that so?" ray doesnt even know it even thought he see there really no one ride something except horse carriage in there

"take your ride to the stable there" he point ray to the nearby stable

after pay 2 silver for the guard in stable where he complain for the huge price, he then go to the fancy shop

"Welcome" said one of the shop clerk after ray came, there hundred spear and sword, many set of battle armor, a full set of

fire arms, gauntlet, boots, kind of lether belt, dagger&knife, and lastly magical armament.

Maximus Weapon Shop, just as the name say it have really heavy supplies in all kind, if you have money even a monkey can

kill a trool after he out of this shop.

first he walk to the nearby set of sword, hundred of beautiful sword even its scabbard is really good, and the price?

"100 150 150 200 500 10.000 gold coin !!" he shock to see a 10.000 gold coin sword, just a sword a person must pay that much

then it must be a really good one

"El Eiunos" he mutter the name of the sword, a clerk then said to him that its a master piece of maximus colection

where they only sell one in this store.

he then walk to the spear set, a long iron spear, platinum spear, even silver spear engrave with some character on it,

and one blue spear that a masterpiece just like before "Blue Flower Vel"

eventhough there many good sword and spear but many people doesnt really look at it, they more interest in fire arms

where the price pierce the heaven (200~500G), and the most important one magical armament (1000~).

in the end ray buy one beutiful sword with triangle that engrave in its scabbard, theres a name thin name in the blade

where if he read it carefully it say 'gentle wind' he pay it for 250G, he take a pair of platinum gauntlet for its durability

and good fire resistance for 300G.

he doent really want to buy fire arms because he doesnt need complicated tools that cost one large copper coin in one shot,

and even if he want to buy magic armament he dont have the money.

a new lether vest, platinum gauntlet, black boots and sword in his hips that attach in brown belt,

Ignaris Ray officially become a respectable Adventure.
