《Trials of the Seven - Dawn of a new age》Have Faith - Karen

With the help of Stormshadow, I had found weapons that he said should work on the goblins. Under Kevin's bed was a large stash of medieval like swords, daggers, staffs, and shields.
Evelyn hugged a staff that had two marbles on each end of it. she said that it was hers and nobody else could touch it.
Tommy had decided to use one of the small shields and a short sword.
I didn't see the point to any of the weapons there. I had never used a weapon like that before in my life, they were all too heavy and hurt to hold them.
We passed out the weapons to anybody that wanted one. Ten people carried small blades and short swords. Nobody wanted the large shield or giant sword so they were stored inside my inventory.
During the day I started to hear whispers about heroes who would save the world, Seven of them. I couldn't bare to tell them that it was all just talk from a video game.
The park behind the housing complex had become something that was almost fun to watch.
Tommy was charging towards Evelyn with his shield in front of him. His sword hand was changed for a stick instead of his sword but that didn't change how scary he looked.
Evelyn was smiling. She stood there waiting for Tommy to get closer to her. the marbles on her staff started to glow red as she changed her stance. Flames licked the tips of the staff as she practiced with Tommy. It was beautiful to watch.
One thought kept running through my head as I watched them dance. How can I have faith in somebody I had just met.
I sat on the park bench and looked forward into the pond.
"I have to find them."
Somebody wrapped their arms around me. I tilted my head back and looked up into Evelyn's eyes.
"You will grow old too fast if you keep frowning all the time." She kissed my for head and I smiled faintly at her.
"You look like you were having fun there." I reached up and wrapped my arms around her neck holding her in place. "Why did you stop?"
"The marbles cracked in my staff." She was pouting. Her staff was one of a kind in the collection. The one she was working on before we had found broken after she remembered where she put it.
"That sucks, what now?"
She broke free from my grasp and came and sat beside me.
"Donno, Using the staff is easier then with out it plus I can do cool stuff with it." She put her elbows on her knees and was leaning forward on her hands pushing her cheeks up. "I think I need to find new marbles."
"Still no word on the Hero Network?" Our friend network had spread through everyone we had met on the road. With it we were able to send messages about what we had found out and how things are going in different regions.
"Still dead." She held out her phone and tried to send messages on it. My phone should of been buzzing every time she sent a message but nothing.
"Well then, How about we go look for some marbles for you. During the day light it was the safest time to go out. We had only ever seen the one goblin out in the daylight the rest came around at dusk or through the night.
Evelyn's eyes lit up with joy at my suggestion. Tommy was playing sword fighting with some of the other guys so the two of us took off alone towards the mall we had seen on our way to the complex.

Everyone was free to do what they wanted before sunset. For some unknown reason the Goblins would go near Kevin's house but would not actually touch it.
We passed by a few of the others as we we danced our way down towards the mall.
It was quiet. If not for the lack of people in the city it would of seamed like any other day.
The mall doors were broken as we got there. Glass had been shattered and pushed aside by the passage of people who have been to the mall before us. Our voices echoed through the empty store. We sang and voiced our opinion of the past few months as loud as possible and laughed at our voices coming back to us.
If there had been music playing over the malls speakers I am sure that we would of looked like just two girls out shopping, and we played the part.
"Did you hear that?" Evelyn stood still holding the dress she had just taken off the rack in her hands.
The mall was silent, I hadn't heard anything, but Evelyn had thought she did.
"Nothing." We stood there in silence barely breathing.
"There," Something fell off a rack somewhere. "There was just something."
"I think we need to go." We both were turning pale, both hoping that what ever it was that was with us was human.
Slowly we started moving towards the exit. The mall was too big, it was going to long run from the store we were in to the nearest exit.
Something fell off a shelf closer to the entrance. There was more then one thing in the store with us.
I pulled out a knife from my inventory and dropped the bags of stuff we were playing around with. Evelyn had her staff in her hands and her eyes were round as she looked around the dark room.
slowly the ends of the staff started to glow. The balls of light were smaller then the ones I had seen her practicing with earlier.
A mannequin fell over, we jumped.
The balls of light went out.
Clicking sounds rang out across the tile floor.
We turned to run away.
Evelyn with her shorter legs was falling behind. I reached behind and took her hand trying to pull her along with me.
I shouldn't of looked behind me.
My hand wasn't holding Evelyn's hand.
Evelyn was pinned beside a shelf.
The green hand was cold. Its strength as I tried to pull away from it was too much.
My feet lost the ground right before my back found it.
Something was placed in my mouth, a cloth or sock. I couldn't push it out with my tongue, I could still breath.
My hands were tied while the breath was still knocked out of me.
I tried to kick but my feet became entangled in something and then my head was covered up.
The goblins were strong.
I was becoming nauseous from being tossed from goblin to goblin.
Their laughter wasn't helping.
I landed on something, A moan escaped me and the object that I landed on.
The object over my head was removed and the room we were in was lit up by a red crack in the wall.
The room had no windows.
Their were no goblins in site.
Evelyn slowly moved so that we faced each other.
Her eyes widened.
I rolled over.
behind me had been ten girls, none older then we were with the youngest being not even eight years old. They all had their hands tied to a pole that was stabbed into the wall behind them.

Bite marks covered their arms, neck, breasts, and legs.
They were all pregnant, even the youngest.
"Do you like what you see?" A mans voice was behind me. His shadow loomed over us as he moved closer.
"No I suppose that you wouldn't like it, But I want to give you a chance." His boots squeaked against the tile floor as he walked around us.
I Looked up at him as he stood in front of us. His face was covered up, his clothing didn't look like it belonged here.
"So, I my self was given a choice," He pushed me onto my back as he walked by. "Serve the new lords of this world or die. Can you guess what I chose?"
His voice made it sound like he was grinning as wide as he could.
Four goblins entered the room through the red crack in the wall.
"Now, My Lord has given me a task." Two goblins grabbed Evelyn from behind me and moved her on top of a desk. The other ones grabbed me and stood me up one holding my head watching Evelyn.
She had a black eye.
"My task is to either have you join him willingly or," he paused. the girls against the wall were in clear view of us. "Break you."
A goblin holding Evelyn placed a dagger against her back. the knife split what ever she was wrapped in as well as her clothing.
Her pale skin glowed red from the light. she had a bruise forming over her left side of her ribs.
"Mmmm, I always wanted to see you naked." The bonds holding Evelyn's hands and legs were cut. She was held down with her back against the desk, her legs dangling free.
The man slowly dragged his fingers around her body. He removed the gag from her mouth but holding her mouth closed.
"Now, Evelyn love, Will you join me," he pointed to him self then pointed to the girls tied up. "Or them."
"FUCK YOU!" The hand that was removed from her mouth came back down hard and in a fist.
"That is no way for a lady to speak." The goblins were getting excited. The man dipped his fingers in the blood that Evelyn had just spit out and started running it around her nipples.
"Now, I can be gentle or rough." He bent down towards her ear and was almost whispering. "Join me, or I get to have my way with you then the goblins will have their way with you after the new batch is born."
Evelyn tried to say something. The man bent down to hear her response.
She spit blood up into his face.
The goblins grabbed her by her hair and the man took a step back and towards me.
I felt something run down my back. My hands were freed for a second before the object holding me was pulled away like Evelyn taking my clothing with it.
The man took my panties from the clothing and used it to wipe the blood off his face.
He placed them on my shoulder. I couldn't see his face at all even with him being so close to me.
His tongue ran up my cheek.
"I take it you are going to be just as defiant as that one?"
His hand cupped my breasts. This was wrong.
"I can make this all stop and you can be safe."
His hand moved down between my legs.
"Just give me a little nod and you are free."
I didn't move, I just stared forward at Evelyn.
Something pushed inside of me.
It hurt for a second before it was removed again.
"Well, it would appear that I get to have my dreams come true."
The man walked away from me and back towards Evelyn.
He bent down and grabbed her breasts hard and twisted.
She screamed and tried to free her self.
"Struggle more please."
Her legs were kicking towards the man, she was trying her best to push him away.
his one hand left her breast and spread her leg slamming it against the desk with a cracking noise.
Evelyn's screams became louder. The girls behind her all closed their eyes.
"Oh dear, The goblins don't like it when people have broken limbs." Evelyn was no longer moving her legs, her one leg was sitting at a bad angle while the other tried to protect her sex.
the man removed his pants. I stared at Evelyn's face.
I didn't want to see what he was doing to her. I didn't want to know what kind of pain she was in.
Tears rolled down her cheeks mixing with the blood that she had spit out.
The man was holding onto her non broken leg and putting pressure on her broken one.
With every movement Evelyn cried out in pain.
"Say you will be mine and the pain will end."
She couldn't talk through the pain even if she wanted to.
Tears rolled down my cheek.
The man backed away from Evelyn slowly, proud of him self.
"I would of never thought that you were a virgin this whole time."
Her eyes were lifeless. The goblins released her arms and one dragged her by her hair towards the wall where the other girls we tied up.
"My dearest Karen," His hands pressed against my breasts again. teasing my nipples. "I really don't want to put you through the same thing as Evelyn. Wont you please just say you will be mine?"
I just stared at Evelyn laying there. The man pushed my back up against a pole.
my legs were lifted up by the goblin on each side of me.
"Poor poor Karen." I could feel him pressing towards me. "Head cheerleader, School council president, Top of every guys want to fuck list."
It hurt, I wanted to scream.
"You were always the perfect one." His hands grabbed the side of my head.
I kept my eyes on Evelyn.
My legs were spread farther apart and he kept pushing into me.
"This is all your fault now, Karen." he pulled my hair. My head turned towards the ceiling.
I could feel his tongue on my neck, his hands digging into my breasts, his sex inside me.
He put my ear in his mouth nibbling on my lobe.
"Just say you will be mine and enjoy it." He whispered low into my ear. "Tomorrow you will have another chance to say yes, the day after you belong to the goblins."
He pressed deep against me and held it before something else filled me.
I could feel tears running down my cheeks.
My legs were released and something ran down my thighs.
My heals were dragged and I was thrown against the wall hard next to Evelyn.
I cried.
The man and the goblins left us like that, Naked and tied to the wall.
The red light pulsed slowly at an irregular rate making it impossible to know the passage of time.
"Karen, are you okay?" I shook my head, I was violated, it still hurt.
"It will be okay. Have faith." My thoughts kept thinking about the time left before the countdown ended. Three days before the end of the world, Three days before I will be raped by goblins.

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations.
