《Trials of the Seven - Dawn of a new age》Outside Of The Rift - Unknown ( character needs a name )

I ran, there were less then a hundred elves remaining alive, the demons had already declared this world dead. There was a portal being forced open to a new world and I had to make it there. My life depended on the new world being able to stop the advance of the demons.
A goblin blocked my path carrying the corpse of my kin on its shoulders. If I was caught I would be used until I could no longer give birth. If the next world supported the demons like the goblins did then my life might as well already be lost.
I stepped on my kin feeling sorry for their fate before hitting the rift at full speed pouring every last bit of my mana into it to make it accept me.
I felt pulled by my mana. The rift was huge.
This was a world of untapped magicka.
I tried to keep running but there was no longer any ground beneath me. I looked down.
Below me stood large spires that reflected the world around them. A giant mage statue was standing on an island. And small elf like beings stood around on the ground looking at the rift behind me.
I looked behind me. Five goblins had made it through chasing after me. Their tall thin green skin made me sick.
I kicked off one of the spires to manage my fall. The spire shattered and started to collapse. I used less force on the next one but it cracked and started making noise as I left it.
The ground was hard and hot when I landed.
“Goblins run!”
I shouted at the elf like creatures. They pointed their strange wands at me and I was hit by something. My skin tingled but there was a greater threat in the area.

I saw the red eyes in the dust from the spire collapsing. The glimpse of his dagger. I recognized it as one who was directly under a demon lord. The shadow talon was licked by his long tongue before he disappeared.
Fear rang through me. These elves were on their own.
I ran through the spires while the elves shouted something in a strange tongue at me.
My words echoed off the spires as I ran. Goblins were nothing to joke about.
I ran until I could run no more. This world was huge and the elves that lived in it were small.
The goblins must of hid because I could not sense any deaths around.
I kissed my mothers necklace and closed my eyes. My crystal would take a while to bond with this new world, until then I must survive.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
