Chapter 15

Hakuya is in the classroom waiting for class to start. His head is lying down on his desk when Ms. Nazuki came in the room. He didn’t notice her so he didn’t lift up his head and remained lying on his desk. Ms. Nazuki noticed him so she came near him.

“Mr. Shinichi?” (Ms. Nazuki)

“............” (Hakuya)

‘What should I do? I saw her yesterday out in my window and she was watching me. I didn’t get any sleep because she might kill me in my sleep and because of that I’m so sleepy’. Hakuya was so busy thinking about how he will survive and because of that; he didn’t notice Ms. Nazuki calling his name.

“Mr. Shinichi? Are you not feeling well? Mr. Shinichi!” (Ms. Nazuki)

“Eh? Huh? Ms. Nazuki? Oh, I’m really sorry that I wasn’t listening to your lesson.” (Hakuya)

“Mr. Shinichi I haven’t started the lessons, did you get any sleep at all? Do you want to rest at the infirmary? Ms. Yoshimizu is at the infirmary.” (Ms. Nazuki)

“I’m fine sensei. I’ll go there later. Thanks for your concern sensei...” (Hakuya)

>>”Hakuya. When you decide to go to the infirmary, I’ll make a barrier around the infirmary so you can rest peacefully. It pains me to see you like this partner.”

“Thanks buddy.” (Hakuya)

Hakuya looked at Toka’s direction and he saw her staring at him again. He sighed ‘What is this? I didn’t do anything to her and yet she wants to kill me.’ After one hour, Hakuya talked to Ms. Nazuki and he went to the infirmary.

>>”The barrier is done Hakuya.”

“I owe you my life Drake. Phew! This is what I want! A nice soft bed and no one watching m-“ (Hakuya)

Hakuya saw a figure holding a huge scythe outside the door of the infirmary.

“Drake.... Tell me your barrier is still active and working.” (Hakuya)

>>”I believe it was shattered moments ago.”

“That doesn’t sound so good, right buddy?” (Hakuya)

>>”I hope you see tomorrow partner.”

“I sure hope so too.” (Hakuya)

The door opened and Toka went in. She walked slowly towards Hakuya. He was stepping backward while she was stepping forward while her scythe was hitting the ground and leaving a cut on it.

“Lily! Zeera!” (Hakuya)

Hakuya called Zeera and Lily and two appeared. The two saw Toka who was holding a scythe and they knew what the situation is.

“I am the one who the infinite chose; I am the king that will rule this world. My enemies will see heaven and hell. Come forth....” (Hakuya)

A black hole appeared at the right side of Hakuya and a black sword covered with chains came out it while a white hole appeared at his left side and a white sword covered with chains too came out of it. Toka’s eyes widen when she saw this. He tightly gripped his two swords and dashed towards Toka. Hakuya attacked first and Toka dodged every attack with no effort at all. ‘She’s on a different level compared to me!’ He continued to attack her but his attacks weren’t connecting at all. ‘This ain’t going anywhere and she hasn’t even started attacking! This is bad!’ Hakuya was drenched in sweat and he was getting tired. Hakuya notice that Toka was smiling while looking at him.

“You’re the hero? No that’s the {Vorpal Sword}.... I don’t understand.” (Toka)

“We can still talk about this Ms. Kosaki.” (Hakuya)

“The {sword of revelation}..... *Sigh* I can’t kill him.” (Toka)

Toka whispered to herself and then charged forward and she attack Hakuya with the end of the handle of her scythe on his shoulder, Knee and his stomach simultaneously.

“Gah!” (Hakuya)

Hakuya tried to fight back but Toka was much faster than him. ‘What is this? I can’t keep up!’ he jumped back and raised his holy sword.

[Blinding Light!] (Hakuya)

A light covered the whole room and Hakuya stood up. He ran but his body was hitting its limits. Toka was standing inside the infirmary while she was covering her eyes. Hakuya felt his feet going numb so he called to Drake.

“Drake let me use Dragonic boost for a short time.”

>>”Ok but only for one minute. I can’t let you drain your magic again because it will kill you for sure.”

“That’s plenty. Give the entire boost to my speed.” (Hakuya)

>>”Understood.”

Hakuya’s speed increased but despite the increase in his speed Toka was able to catch up with him.

“Oh fuck me.“ (Hakuya)

Toka targeted his face and with one simple attack Hakuya fainted.

“I am the one who the infinite chose; I am the king that will rule this world. My enemies will see heaven and hell. Come forth....” (Hakuya)

Toka was surprised by what she saw. The boy named Hakuya is holding both {Sword of Revelation} and {Vorpal Sword}. ‘How could he be holding the hero’s sword when he’s a demon king?’ Toka looked at the {Sword of Revelation} and she remembered something.

There is a little girl with long black hair and she was about seven years old. She came outside of a house and she went somewhere. There were trees and she hid behind them. There was a man holding a white sword. The man faced a tree and closed his eyes. He raised his sword and slashed the tree with his sword. The tree was cut in half while the ones that were behind the tree which the man cut was also destroyed. The little girl was really impressed so she went out of hiding.

“Can you teach me how to fight?” (Little girl)

The man turned around and he looked at the little girl.

“Toka, I told you not to go outside.” (Man)

“But it’s boring there.” (Toka)

Toka pouted and ran to the man.

“Hey! That’s the sword you used to defeat the Demon king right? Why didn’t you kill him? ” (Toka)

“I don’t use this sword to kill. Killing isn’t an easy task and it doesn’t feel nice. Killing isn’t always the solution to everything.” (Man)

“But- but my parents- *sob*” (Toka)

“Hold this sword and look at it.” (Man)

While crying, Toka touched the white sword and she stared at it. The white sword shined brightly. Toka slowly stopped crying and man patted her head and he smiled at her.

“I’ll teach you how to fight but sleep first, ok?” (Man)

“*Nods* Ok” (Toka)

Toka smiled and ran back to the house.

Flashback end

“The {Sword of Revelation}..... I can’t kill him.” (Toka)

Toka whispered to herself and she dashed forward and she used the handle of her scythe to knock Hakuya out. ‘This should be enough’ she kept attacking to knock out him out but Hakuya tried to fight back so she increased her attack speed. ‘He’s not bad’ Hakuya jumped back and he used a spell [Blinding Light]. Toka covered her eyes and a bright light appeared. It took many seconds for her to recover.

“That spell....” (Toka)

[Enchant: Speed] (Toka)

She dashed forward and she saw Hakuya. The tattoo on his left arm glowed. ‘What is that? His gifts should be the [Demon’s Arm] and [Eyes of Revelation] but that tattoo, I don’t know what that is.’ Hakuya’s speed increased and Toka saw something which made her stop. ‘His aura change. It was half white and half black but now, it’s of a dragon.’ Toka started running again and she caught up with Hakuya.

“Oh fuck me.” (Hakuya)

She striked Hakuya on the face and he fainted.

“What was that? A dragon?” (Toka)

Toka dragged Hakuya to her room.

There is a group of people which consist of five members patrolling an area. A man spoke and he looks like the leader.

“We will split up and find the Class C demon here. It’s a huge bear and If you see it, don’t attack it alone.” (Man)

“Yeah!” (The other four)

The leader went alone and the four split into two pairs and started searching. After searching for a few minutes. The first pair and the leader bumped into each other.

“Did you two find anything?” (Leader)

“We didn’t.” (First pair)

The three were talking when they heard something.

“Ahhhhh!!!” (Girl)

“Oh no! We have to find them! Hurry!” (Leader)

The three ran and they saw one of their member but not in a good shape. His body was cut in half while the other one, her legs, hands and head were cut. The three were frightened by what they saw. The girl screamed while the leader couldn’t say anything. The girl’s partner looked around.

“H-hey is that?” (Boy)

“What?” (Leader)

The two saw the Demon they was supposed to kill but it killed by the same manner. Its body was cut into pieces. The leader went near the bodies and he noticed something.

“They already killed the demon but they were killed too in the process...” (Boy)

“They weren’t killed by the demon.....” (Leader)

“Huh? What are you talking about?” (Boy

“Then what killed them?!” (Girl)

The girl asked and when the leader was about to answer, they heard something.

“Listen to me. I don’t have any time to explain but someone killed them. Now you!” (Leader)

The leader pointed to the boy.

“What?” (Boy)

“Take the girl with you and run as fast as you can and report to Tiki! Tell him this, “Someone dangerous is here”.” (Leader)

The noise got louder and it sounds like a sword being dragged on the ground.

“Now go!” (Leader)

“Y-yes!” (Boy & Girl)

The two ran and the man summoned his relic. The sound that he heard disappeared.

“Come to me! Jack frost!” (Leader)

A bracer appeared on the left arm of the leader.

“I know you’re there.” (Leader)

A man wearing a mask appeared while holding a large bone-like sword.

“...... heh! You’re a sharp one!” (Masked man)

“I’m gonna end you here for those two that you killed.” (Leader)

[Ice Break!] (Leader)

A large pile of ice started forming and it fell in front of the masked man. The leader charged towards the masked man and he saw that the masked man was not affected by his attack at all. The blade on the sword of the masked man multiplied and it acted as a shield.

“Boring!” (Masked man)

[Ice Barrage!] (Leader)

The masked man laughed which confused him. He poured all of his magic on his left arm and punched the masked man.

“Wha- Ahhh! My arm! My arm!” (Leader)

The leader noticed that his hands were missing.

“You entertained me well but I have to go.” (Masked man)

“D-damn you!” (Leader)

The masked man struck the ground with his sword and lots of blades came out under the leaders spot.

“ARGH!” (Leader)

The masked man walked away while whistling.
