Chapter 5

“The rumored boy versus Kazuya! Go to the arena!” (Announcer)

The match between Hakuya and Kazuya became the talk of the school and the battle will be held in the school’s arena. Hakuya didn’t want to have audience but Kazuya did something that attracted the whole school’s attention.

-------------------------------------Flashback

“I’ll only agree if you beat me in a duel.” (Hakuya)

“Hakuya don-“ (Veronica)

“Ok~ let’s start right now.” (Kazuya)

Kazuya walked near his table and grabbed something and he winked at Hakuya. Hakuya didn’t know what Kazuya was scheming so he stared at him carefully then he heard at loud voice. Kazuya was the one who talked.

“Hi! Hi! To all of the students in my school~ the boy you all wanted to see has challenged me to a fight! Come to the school’s arena because the fight will start in a few minutes~ Thank you for listening! Mwah mwah~” (Kazuya)

The students who heard this message ran to the arena at incredible speed and the arena was full after a few seconds. Hakuya didn’t expect this so he stared at Kazuya for a long time and Kazauya just smiled at him like an innocent child.

“What on earth did you just do?” (Hakuya)

“*Cough* I need to teach my students how to fight properly so I invited them to watch~” (Kazuya)

“*Sigh*” (Veronica)

--------------------------------------- Back to the present- School’s Arena

“Go Kazuya! We love you!” (Girls)

“Go cutie!” (Girls)

Cutie? Seriously? Do I look like a dog or something? *sigh* that doesn’t matter anymore; I have to defeat this guy so I can explore this world and find a way back to my world. Well, that’s one reason I have to beat this guy up and the other is I want to kick his ass so bad because he’s irritating. By the way the arena here looks exactly like the Coliseum in Rome.

“Are you ready?!” (Announcer)

“Yeahhh!” (People on the arena)

“The match will automatically stop if one of the combatants is unable to battle or ran out of magic.” (Announcer)

“Let’s Rock!”

“Receiving the blessing of the infinite! Lend me your power and crush my enemies! Come forth Tempest!” (Kazuya)

The sky turned black and thunder roared down the Coliseum, wind roamed the whole Coliseum which almost blew up everything. A horse descended from the thunder clouds and landed near Kazuya. It suddenly disappeared but Hakuya noticed that Kazuya is now holding two swords in his hands. He grabbed his two swords and was about to charge at Kazuya when he noticed a thing again.

“Why the hell do your weapons comes in an awesome way? The sky turned black, thunder roared, wind roamed the whole place and a horse comes down taking a form of two swords. While I, I grabbed my sword and nothing happens! Why?!” (Hakuya)

The crowd became silent and Kazuya started to laugh.

“Hahahahaha! You haven’t made a contract with your swords yet so they won’t come in an awesome way yet~ you’re really interesting you know? Hahahahaha!” (Kazuya)

“*sigh* let’s just start.” (HaKuya)

“Wait! I have a favour to ask you.” (Kazuya)

“What?” (Hakuya)

“Attack me with the move you used to destroy twilight forest.” (Kazuya)

“Huh? Are you crazy? You’re dead if hits you.” (Hakuya)

“Fufu~ Hakuya, don’t underestimate Kazuya. He’s known as the lightning emperor through all the countries in this world.” (Announcer)

Kazuya didn’t move from his position so Hakuya took the first move, He charged at Kazuya and swinged his sword but Kazuya didn’t budge at all, he just smiled at Hakuya. This annoyed Hakuya so he swinged his two swords with all of his might but when the swords was about to hit Kazuya, both of Hakuya’s swords stopped at midair like there was a wall separating them.

“What?!” (Hakuya)

Hakuya used more strength and attacked Kazuya but his swords are not getting near at Kazuya, in fact, it’s like he was attacking an unbreakable wall in front of him. He changed direction and attack Kazuya’s back but the same thing happened, there was an invisible wall on Kazuya’s back.

“There it is! Kazuya’s Wind barrier! It is one of the toughest defence spell that only Kazuya can use!” (Announcer)

“What the fuck is this?!” (Hakuya)

Hakuya jumped back to his original position and glared at Kazuya but Kazuya just smiled at him.

“I told you to attack me with the move you used to destroy twilight forest didn’t I? You have a higher chance to defeat me if you use it.” (Kazuya)

“You leave me no choice; I really hate that move because after I used it, my body was filled with pain. I’ll use this just this time but don’t blame me if I hurt everybody.” (Hakuya)

“Don’t worry about that~” (Kazuya)

Hakuya put Lily on his back and tightly grabbed Zeera on his right hand.

“Let’s do this Zeera.” (Hakuya)

“Yes.” (Zeera)

“Please be careful.” (Lily)

“I will, don’t worry.” (Hakuya)

Hakuya’s eye became crimson red, his hair became white and wings came out of his back. Kazuya was surprised at first but he immediately smiled looking at Hakuya now.

“Kyaa! He looks so cool! Marry me!” (Girl 1)

“He looks like the demon king but that doesn’t matter anymore! Please be mine!” (Girl 2)

“He’s so dreamy.” (Girl 3)

“Kyaaaaa!” (Girls)

“Hahahahaha! You’re really popular with the girls Hakuya but an incomplete supreme drive huh? Sounds fun.” (Kazuya)

Hakuya stared at Kazuya because he felt his strength increasing nonstop. He grinned because he thought that he can defeat Kazuya now with his power.

“Are you ready?” (Hakuya)

“Isn’t it obvious?” (Kazuya)

“Abyssal Wave.” (Hakuya)

A black wave came straight at Kazuya but Kazuya was just smiling. Kazuya raised his right arm.

“Thunder dragon.” (Kazuya)

“ROOOOOAAARRRR!!!!!” (Dragon)

A dragon made of lightning appeared and ate the black wave like it was nothing. Hakuya was dumbfounded by this. The dragon was looking at Hakuya as if it was thanking him. Kazuya went near his dragon and patted its head.

“Good job! Did you like the meal?” (Kazuya)

The dragon nodded and disappeared and Kazuya faced Hakuya who was still shocked by what he saw.

“What the hell was that? Did that dragon just ate my attack?!” (Hakuya)

“Well, Blue was quite hungry and was complaining to me so I made him eat your attack. Sorry Hakuya, my bad~” (Kazuya)

“Your best move was useless, do you think that you can still beat me?” (Kazuya)

“Shit! Zeera are there any moves I can use?” (Hakuya)

“I’m sorry but you still have to make a contract with me to use my full power.” (Zeera)

“Well, I won’t go down without finishing this fi-.” (Hakuya)

Hakuya fell down and his appearance returned to normal. Kazuya made his swords disappear and the crowd went wild.

“Kyaaa! Kazuya is really strong!” (Announcer)

“What the hell? I don’t feel any pain but I can’t move my body.” (Hakuya)

“You activated supreme drive, no an incomplete supreme drive to be exact. If you haven’t made a contract with your relic, it’s really dangerous to do that. You’re pretty lucky that you’re just paralysed because some have died activating supreme drive with a relic you’re not contracted to.” (Kazuya)

“The fight is over! Hakuya is unable to fight anymore! Kazuya is the winner!” (Announcer)

“Someone~ please carry Hakuya to the infirmary.” (Kazuya)

“Me! Me!” (Girl 1)

“No! Let me carry him to the infirmary!” (Girl 2)

“Shut up! I’m the one who’s going to carry Him.” (Girl 3)

The girls have started arguing again.

“*Sigh* well, I’m going back to my room and have some coffee. Hey Hakuya!” (Kazuya)

“What?” (Hakuya)

“Welcome to Scarlet Wings Academy!” (Kazuya)

“*sigh* yeah, yeah thanks.” (Hakuya)

"I finally arrived~ that was a long walk. Hmmm, I can feel the demon king's presence but also the hero's presence too. This is gonna be troublesome but well, I want to meet the rumored Lightning Emperor." (Maria)
