《In a new world, so lets go it alone!》chapter- 2 coke-sama!

I wake up in the morning and think to myself, owww. Why am i in such pain? Then all of yesterday comes flooding back. i tied myself to a tree. that's why i'm in pain!
“How did I tie myself up here?”
I was tied to a tree by a rope, but… how? After wiggling for a while and
I flipped over, to paint you a picture, i was in a sleeping bag on top of a branch, and now I’m in a sleeping bag, tied under a tree. Lucky, or unlucky i didn’t tie myself up too tight, and slip out of my bag, and land face first on the ground. Rolling around in pain, i do that hissing thing where you suck in air through your teeth.
In a few minutes the pain fades a little and i sit up, and check my watch. 10:00 AM. so that's how it is. Any of you who have a brain, know that the length of a day, is equal to the time it takes for the earth to do a full rotation, so for larger planets, longer days and nights. And since the sun is rising, it seems gia is larger than earth. Not that that helps me in this situation. Anyway i look around for my stuff and it seems to all be fine, that’s a little surprising considering it had food in it, not that i’m unhappy with that.
I unstrap my sleeping bag from the branch, and pack it up, speaking of witch. I pull out a coke and start sipping on it. I look through the beef jerky i have more carefully than before. How long will this last me, i had grabbed a lot at home, but never really counted. But if i have a piece or two every hour… what? Every hour you ask? Well the three meal system is largely inferior to having multiple small ‘mini meals’ per day. Anyway i have about four days worth. Less than i thought more than i need.
I pick out a piece of jerky and eat it, as i finish up my coke. Ok what do i need to do.
Get farther away I don’t expect the main group to never get this close, actually, if someone smart takes over a scout party will be coming this far into the forest in a few hours, to look for potential danger. Get more food I have four days of food, but what will i do after that? I can use foraging to get some fruits and nuts, but can i live off of all that? I have that butchering guide i printed offline. But i need to kill some monsters for that. And i’ve only seen that one rabbit. Get water I have around eight water bottles so about two to three days worth. After that i have to find some streams or lakes, and i’m not some survival master, i can’t just listen to the wind and be like, 0.35 miles south south-east from here is a stream that will only give me a mild stomach cramp. I could drink the blood of my enemies, but i might get some kind of disease, and again i’ve only found that rabbit. So i guess that leaves water magic.

So i know what i need to do but, as i stated earlier, if i want water, i’m probably gonna need water magic, but how do i learn magic?
“Fire ball!”
Didn’t work, nor did i ever expect it to work But meh worth a try. Plan B time. I pull out a book on science, flip to the end to see the index, find some pages on water, and start reading, ten minutes later
Congratulations! You have gained a basic understanding of water and have gained an increase of water affinity
Affinity?
“Affinity”
affinities
Earth 0
Fire 0
Water 2
Air 0
I clicked affinities to see what it meant and
Affinities mark how close you are to an element. A higher affinity can reduce the cost of spells, increase the power of spells, and give a resistance to attacks of that element
Cool? I guess? I really wasn’t expecting this, but i guess it’s ok, more good stuff is good.

Wolf!!! Wolf!!! I scramble back, tripping over myself. But i keep moving, until i hit the tree. The wolf was coming closer, i don’t have my knife so i look around, until i find…
Coke-sama! I grab the coke can and do the spray can, thing. And it doesn’t pan out like i thought. It sputtered a bit, but didn’t go in the wolf’s eyes like i thought. Fuck you coke! Seeing that it wasn’t working i roll away. But why aren't i dead?
I look over and see the wolf drinking the coke! I’m sorry coke-sama! Forgive me for my ignorance! I look for my knife. And can’t find it, so option two. Up the tree! I climb up a nearby tree. And fail. I land on my back and groan in pain.
It seems my luck has run out because the wolf has seemed to have finished the coke. It sees me on the ground, in pain, and starts walking towards me. At this time i only can think. This bitch is looking down on me! Fuck you! I roll over and get up.
The wolf lunges at me half-heartedly. I jump back way too far, luckily i don’t fall over and stay on my feet somehow. And at this time my mind really starts working, and i realize, i forgot
“Identify monster”
Grey wolf
Level 4
Oh, that's not as bad as i thought. I was thinking it would be something like level seven or eight. Oh wait… that actually makes it worse! If this is level four? then what's a real level eight? The wolf starts to lunge at me seriously, and i kick it, in the face. I’m a bit proud of myself to have been able to do that. I look around before find the knife and run to it. After getting the knife, i turn to see the wolf in my face, in a moment of ‘superhuman reflexes’ i get my arm bitten like a bitch.

Screaming, so loud that I scared myself, I stab the wolf in the eye. Over and over.
And now i’m crying on the ground, man. Now i know you're thinking, wow you're so manly, thanks i know.
“The plant”
I half whisper to no one. I start one armed crawling to the plant and shove it into my mouth. I have to say, it’s not easy to eat raw, unprocessed plants. I cough a bit and only eat about one-tenth of the whole plant. I cry for what seems like forever but was probably just five or ten minutes before getting up to a sitting position.

Only half? It feels more like I should be on five health, not fifty! But at least I'm not dead, woohoo.
I climb to my feet and decide i need to make a sling for my arm. But how? Well i’m gunna take a perfectly fine white t shirt, and use it as a cast, staining it with my blood forever. Not! I’m going to use a redshirt. I like red so i have at least four red based shirts. How am i gonna make it a sling? Not by tearing it! Ever tried to tear a shirt, i have, and failed. What i do is slip my arm through the sleeve of the t shirt, and then put it through the waist hole, before looping it through the other sleeve and out the head hole.
Now all i need to deal with is the wolf. Since i didn’t spill the guts on this one i can have some fresh meat tonight! So how to skin this… we first i need to drain the blood. How would i do that you ask? By hanging it! I just have to tie it to a tree, and slit the throat. But now that i’m thinking about it. The white rabbit had spoiled meat, and the wolf with a dark wolf didn’t, you could almost say the whites were spoiled… sorry. So i grab the wolf with one arm, and drag it over to the tree….
“How will I hang it with one arm?”
“Rope!”
With this, we now have definite proof that rope is the number one survival tool. I tie the rope to the wolf’s tail, or at least i tried. Ends up tieing a thin non-boned tail, isn’t good for one armed rope tieing. Next i tried the legs, and they work! So i tie the leg, through the rope over the tree, and hoist the wolf of the ground… at an angle…. I only tied one leg.
But that's perfectly fine! Now if i were to treat this as a human, i’d probably want to cut the vein on the side of the neck, you know the vain you press in the vulcan death grip. But i’m gonna cut the jugular because i want to be able to say. I fought with a wolf, and instead of being bitten in the jugular i cut its jugular! But i guess stabbing it in the eye is pretty cool too. I mean if this was an anime, or manga i would only have injured its eye, and the next episode it would be back, with a whole pack, but that's not going to happen… i turn to the wolf and
“Oh shit!”
I just realized! How am i gonna slit its throat with one arm! Any cut i would make would be too shallow, so i would have to use multiple cuts, thus needlessly damaging the pelt! In the end i just used my head to hold the wolf to the tree as i slit its throat. But i forgot to ask myself something critical.
Where will the blood go?
All over the ground, was the answer, i hurriedly kicked away my stuff before it got caked in blood. Luckily i got there in time, and nothing was covered in blood. Good thing too, not like i can just buy more, this is all I have for a while.
Next time I should dig a pit. But I guess in the end, the wolf has no blood. Now that I think about it. Why didn’t I level up?

You are now level one! You are the 8,903,157th human to become level one! As such you gain a F ranked skill package
Another one? They seem to love handing these out. But at least the five status points seems standard.

There were pluses next to each stat but Def, so assuming the obvious that's how i spend them, but the real question is how do i spend them? I need survivability, but magic is cool, something i’ve always dreamed of doing, and could help me survive.
I know what I need to do...

The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.
8 170Stockholm's Mess
In an eye blink, Hanna finds herself in less than a favorable situation when her own curiosity puts her in the arms of a very dangerous man. The very dangerous man, however, has a set of convictions that make the entire situation snowball into a battle of hate, affection, and survival for one's sanity.
8 150When Earth Sneezed A Dungeon (A LitRPG)
No one knows why but there was once a time when Earth made such a loud sneeze that millions went deaf, and a dungeon popped up out of nowhere. It was filled with monsters, riches, and death. A hundred years later a person known as Terax stood beside the bed of his dying father. He gave Terax a golden pendant and told him that, "You must head for the dungeon, because..." And with that, his father passed away before telling him the reason. That pissed Terax off, so he headed to the dungeon to find out what his father wanted to tell him.
8 117Death Drive
In the near future, most work has been relegated to machines and people are content to spend their time immersed in virtual reality, something they cannot get enough of. Thomas Walker, an ex-racecar driver who blames the hidden algorithms that run society for losing everything that is important to him, finds himself at the center of a string of bizarre vehicular attacks and becomes assured that someone is out to get him. Meanwhile, Lucas Bennett, an anxiety-ridden software engineer, is contracted by the leading artificial intelligence corporation in the US to decipher the inner workings of their flagship AI that have become incomprehensible even to themselves, a job that he is very invested in since he considers technology the solution to his personal as well as mankind’s timeless problems. Unknown to the public at large, the CEO of the company is bent on unleashing the full capabilities of that AI to handle every single aspect of society and individual lives. When all hell breaks loose, the two men and those close to them team up to survive and fight back against the horde of vehicular attackers and the Intelligence behind them while also clashing together over their views: is artificial intelligence a way to humanity’s salvation or doom? Betrayal abounds, nothing is as it seems and the traffic is a real killer. The story is finished and I will be publishing a new chapter every Friday. If that seems too slow for you, you can get the book at Amazon
