"Oy Leeroy, you gone insane I'm sorry but we can't let you go there just to get killed!"(Chazz)

"Leeroy please stop there's nothing we can *tear fall's down*, they opened up his chest and the arteries near his legs where shredded, *shudders* the amount of trauma alone killed him. He's already dead."(Katie)

"No shut up, let me go you traitors, he's my brother I cant abandon him, let go dammit, fuck I said let g... Uufff."(Leeroy)

Shutting up after receiving a blow to the back of the head from Chazznick Leeroy lost all strength in his body, he remained motionless while Chazz placed him on his back.

"Sorry Leeroy. But we aren't gonna sacrifice you on a fruitless effort. I liked your brother I really did but he was already gone, you going would've been a waste."(Chazz)

"Tobi apologizes for leaving you with the hardest part; truly this is something Tobi does not wish either but it's..."(Tobi)

"It's alright Tobi, we all knew, even Leeroy once he calms down will also understand. If you hadn't snapped us out of the shock, that horde of creatures would've killed all of us."(Katie)

Katie spoke this as softly as she could with a somber smile on her face. What they had just done was considered taboo amongst all adventurers alike, abandoning a comrade in arms was one of the most sinful acts to do next to killing another teammate as an adventurer, she understood that it was already impossible to save him but her heart could not get over it. Chazz was the same, as well as Tobi despite not showing it on they're faces like Katie, inside they were both feeling the weight of their actions. It was something that was necessary yet heart wrenching, one thing they could never forgive about themselves. Despite that they kept on moving forward, trying to leave the scene where It happened, all in order to complete the task they were given to warn the Guild in hopes of it not happening there as well.

"Hahaha, there you go yeah, just like that Jerry, you can do it alright whooohoo. *High Fives Jerry*. "(Leeroy)

" Alright, did you see it big brother, I did it I managed to kill the slime."(Jerry)

"I know you did, saw the whole thing, hey who knows maybe you'll be better than me with those tiny knifes of yours one day."(Leeroy)

"Hehe, you know it Bro. Hyah!"(Jerry)

"Whoa ho, haha, still to slow little bro."(Leeroy)

"Ah shoot, well who knows maybe one day I'll be able to actually land a blow on you."(Jerry)

"Yeah who knows maybe one day, but that doesn't mean I'll be going easy on you."(Leeroy)

"Boohoo *pouts* your mean you know that."(Jerry)

"Just sit already and let's have some boar steak sandwiches, I'm starving you know."(Leeroy)

"Yum."(Jerry)

The two brother's sat in a wide field while they ate their food, the two were gorging themselves on the sandwiches which were bigger than they're hands yet seemed to diminish at a rapid pace.

The field was a beautiful meadow which could be said to only be seen in paintings, the sunlight which shone brilliantly did not burn their skin but still gave a pleasant feeling of warmth, behind them was a wide forest from where the slime had come from It was teeming with the unseem and rustling with life. Suddenly one of the brother's stopped eating and turned his head towards the forest he got up quickly and kept on staring.

"What's wrong Jerry is it to big for you? I'll eat the rest then hehe hehehe. Hmmm what wrong you're really not going to stop me? Huh wait where are you going? Stop. Dammit."(Leeroy)

After seeing Jerry enter the forest Leeroy followed in toe. Jerry moved slickly through the shadows of the trees, maneuvering expertly with no wasted movements gaining him a large distance gap between Leeroy and himself, Leeroy was powering through almost tripping with the roots of the trees or accidentally hitting branches which he didn't see.

'Dammit, where's he going? He knows how dangerous unknown forests can be why'd he go at it alone. Wait I can see a clearing good, I hope there's better footing then here.'(Leeroy)

He brushed off the final branch and what he saw could only be described as horrible, literal mountains of corpses piled up high or low reaching up to the trees or down to his knee, flies and maggots stuck and flew around the bodies, almost every part of the area was surrounded by corpses even for a star adventurer like Leeroy this was too much, he lost the strength on his legs and began gagging as if beginning to vomit. It took nearly all of his mental strength to keep him from throwing up and twice as much to get back on his feet.

'What the hell, this is horrible, where is this place? Shit! Gotta get Jerry and leave immediately. Fuck, fuck, fuck, where is he?'(Leeroy)

"Brooo-theeerrr."(Jerry)

" Jerry! Is that you, where are you bro?"(Leeroy)

"I'm here brother can't you see me?"(Jerry)

"No. Where are we exactly? Look we've got to get out of here quickly. Just tell me where you are so we can leave, this place is horrible I don't want you here any longer ."(Leeroy)

"But brother don't you recognize this place; this is where you left me. See, this is me. Over here."(Jerry)

"No; oh God's, what's happening? Je-Jerry, no please no, JERRYYY!"(Leeroy)

In the following moment Leeroy saw his brother speaking to him however he was not okay. Jerry was dismembered with his chest almost completely exposed and his legs having several bite marks showing bones.

"This is what happened to me brother, you left me here and I died."(Jerry)

"JERRY NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"(Leeroy)

"AAAaaaahhhh!!!! What happened where am I Jerry, Jerry where are you?!"(Leeroy)

"I see you've finally woken up, but please keep quiet we don't know if any of those things are around the perimeter."(Katie)

"Katie, Katie! *he grabs Katie by the shoulder and shakes her roughly* Where's Jerry? Please tell me that he's okay, where is he, tell me that he made it, please tell me that he made it and that he's still alive. Tell me!"(Leeroy)

"Leeroy you're being to rough."(Katies)

"Oh sorry. *Let's go*"(Leeroy)

"It's fine however; Jerry. He, he didn't make it we're sorry."(Katie)

"No haha you're, you're kidding right? This is a joke right, please tell me that it's a joke. Tell me that's it's a joke Katie, come on im waiting!"(Leeroy)

"Look here Lee, It's the truth Jerry you're little brother; he's, he's, *gulps* gone."(Katie)

Once more silence was found incredibly tense between the two companions. Katie could barely look up as she knew what sort of face Leeroy would be making. Sure enough it was exactly what she expected as the only thing that displayed in Leeroy's face was complete and total disbelief and sadness at what he'd just heard, he didn't want to accept it, no he couldn't accept that the brother whom he'd gone through thick and thin, and we're both now able to form a fresh start in this new country was gone.

"*weak forced laugh*ha haha haha, this has got to be some fucked up dream Kate really, *tears begin falling from his Tear ducts*. Oy Kate you're with me right, this is a fucked up dream, 'cause if this is real life, then it's messed up on a whole other level.*Lowers his head and begins crying* Uwaaaahh!"(Leeroy)

"I know it is Lee, it's horrible, unfair, cruel, and sudden, but it's life and it always will be. *Begins crying and pulls Leeroy towards her bosom*. However, despite all the crap that we've gone through we keep on getting back up ready for another beating in hopes that one day we'll have fought hard enough to make this horrible world a better place for ourselves and those we love, *Strokes Leeroy's hair*. So please look up Lee, this world won't take it easy just because you've got a wounded heart, no it wont it'll just grind you up as if you were nothing, that's why *breathes deeply* that's why you've gotta look up now before it's too late. *Pulls his head upwards*. Staring deeply into his eyes she examines him to see if he is truly there again, the man who could fight on par with 20 armed bandits without blinking even once, the one whom she'd grown so fond of after rescuing her from the clutches of those said bandits. A person she could trust that's who he was, one filled with the Determination, Charisma, Goodwill, and Fighting Spirit of a hero.

'Truly even when you're beaten up by the world that spark is still there. You own a Burning Will so powerful it could light up any darkness that tries to extinguish it.*She smiles at him*.'(Katie)

She did not let go of him at that moment, despite the disparity of the situation she remained entranced by his gaze and the same applied to him, even though he'd lost his brother he could only stare at the blinding beauty that held his head up towards her gaze like a goddess trying to pull him from despair, he could only stare in awe at her beauty. The two people where in a world of there own, only the two of them existed at that moment and only they; both were staring intently and warmly at each other, they could only lose themselves more and more as they kept on gazing at each other.

"Oy we've got to leave now, saw them headed towards one of the villages next to the valley, those things are gonna decimate hundreds if we don't inform the Guards.*No response was given*. What, was I interrupting something?"(Chazz)

"No, no, nothing yet."(Katie)

"Good, and how's the kid?"(Chazz)

"He's..."(Katie)

"Fine *He responds while staring with hostility at Chazz*. "(Leeroy)

"What you looking for something? 'cause I ain't apologizing for what I did."(Chazz)

"Hehe, you shouldn't because you did good. You saved me from myself, as well as you too Katie, thanks to the both of you had none of you been here I don't know if I would've made it."(Leeroy)

"Don't mention it."(Chazz)

"Well you should thank Tobi really, he's the one who noticed you going suicidal before us."(Katies)

"Speak of Tobi and Tobi will appear."(Tobi)

"Tobi you're here, where've you been?"(Katie)

"Tobi thought that Tobi would be useful creating defenses around the trees through [nature magic] to divert the direction of the dead. As well as turning some of the surrounding area into a quagmire to delay they're march. However it was also because Tobi was feeling guilty about facing Leeroy after he woke up since it was Tobi who gave the order."(Tobi)

"Oy Tobi look at me."(Leeroy)

"Yess!!!"(Tobi)

"Thank you, it seems that under extreme circumstances you were the only one who truly held this team together there's no way any of us here can repay you."(Leeroy)

"He's right you know."(Katie)

"Ay."(Chazz)

"Guys, *is taken aback by the sudden appreciation*, hmmph it's only natural that a wise mage such as Tobi would understand the importance of the situation, such as now we should begin moving before those corpses try and devour anyone else."(Tobi)

Following Tobias advice the group began it's run for the capital in hopes of stopping the army of the dead that shambled through the Valley.

After hearing Jerry's roar the surrounding undead moved about following him. The girl let out a cry giving her position inside of the house away, the house was instantly surrounded by the dead and her escape seemed impossible, however their entry was also blocked due to them not reaching the high placed windows or go through the doors because due to them being seled shut of course the low intelligence they all could also be applied to this as all they could do was wail and scratch at the walls. Jerry saw how this was going nowhere and despite also suffering from lowered intellect his rage and anger towards the living got the better of him, he pushed away the undead that were blocking the door searched around in case there were windows in the front, and when he saw that there were none he did what was natural for the stupid undeads and began pounding the door relentlessly. The strength of a former adventurer even the lowest class of adventurer is not to be underestimated, Jerry was an adventurer for the past 6 months during that time he'd gone on dangerous monster hunts and fended of rogues from the Thieves Guild to survive. He'd also gained the position of a C class adventurer along with his brother and friends, strength ratings could be measured in scaling by the system which was placed by the guild following weakest to strongest,

E class: all newbie adventurers from up to 6 months or those with low combat skills.

D class: All adventurers who pass the physical aptitude test and score above average on the combat skills test.

C class: All adventurers who've passed the advanced placement test, the test calculates analytical prowess, physical capabilities, magical capacity, and emotional state calculating wether a person has passed the parameters of a D class in all aspects.

B class: Those whom are stepping into the domain of heroes, candidates for heroic advancement, only known way to advance is by defeating an Upper B class monster.

A class: Heroes whom have ascended to the pinnacle of human strength. Said way to claim the title is by saving a country and have strength or magic on par with a Dragon.

S class: Unknown rank placed by the original hero whom founded the adventurers guild. The strongest Hero said to have ever lived. Can only be obtained by one person the strongest in existence.

Despite only possessing the strength of a C class adventurer, that was already well beyond the strength of a normal human being, adding the fact that he'd become an undead he lost all human limiters and gained strength that was blocked before. Each hit towards the house filled with his rage and anger shook it's very foundation until he broke through the door on the sixth punch.

'Hehe, my punch broke through after hitting this spot maybe the same is applied to the other buildings. Bah who cares, where is my food?'(Jerry)

"raaahhh.'It's lunch time every time'."(Jerry)

Toka's POV:

My name is Toka Rendall, I was just your average everyday village girl who enjoyed her everyday life in the village of Tarnea. The village was neither poor nor rich but we had everything that was needed to survive and live happily. Our farmer's harvested enough for both the noble who controlled the land and ourselves, we had good houses, warm meals, and everyone was always busy doing something. There were never any major crimes aside from a potato or two going missing from the shed. Life in the village was as peaceful as it could get, sure it was lonely without big brother since he left to become a Knight of the kingdom but even so it was a nice every day life. Everybody in the village knew each other and everyoby was nice too, it was the best village in my opinion, until the day the dead rose.

"Haaa, oy gramps the field here is done what do you want me to do next."(Toka)

"..."

"Hey gramps you there."(Toka)

"..."

"Old fool must have fallen asleep, oh well not my fault if he has a heart attack when I scare him for falling asleep, hehe."(Toka)

I left the hoe next to the fence of the corn field. It's going to be a good harvest this year I think that as I jump over the fence, walking towards the barn I notice that it's open.

'Geeze that old fart is going to let the Cows and Bull run wild outside one day. Hmm the back door is opened as well.'(Toka)

Stealthily I search for gramps through the barn but find nothing not even the cows were in sight.

'Did he take them out to the pasture. No, we already took 'em out, then they must've gotten out sheesh.'

"Oy gramps, gramps! Old Fart Where Are You?!"(Toka)

"ruaaaaaaa."(???)

"Huh that you gramps, oh your outside let me help then, you sound like if you're in pain."(Toka)

"Ruaaa."(Gramps)

"Ay, ay, im coming just wait that old butt of yours. Gr-gramps whats are you doing? That's Betsy gramps, get off her!"(Toka)

"Ruaaaah."(Gramps)

I couldn't help but stare back in horror at the scene that was before me. The sweet old man who raised cows and bulls for their milk, or sell off to others never even laying a hand of mal intent towards his cattle was now mercilessly eating away at the insides of his prize winning cow, her neck was bitten down to the bone, and despite being clawed at in the stomach she was still alive weakly wailing at the one who was eating her. He turned around and faced me, the horror within grew even worse, his sweet old smile had turned into a dead pan glare, guts hanging out and half his neck gone. I ran, I ran like I've never ran before, I left the barn at a speed I never thought possible only to be greeted by another limping person covered in blood with his face clawed out, I screamed, out of panic from what I'd thought could only happen in nightmares and ran towards the gate, jumping it's waist level fence I left for the center of the village.

It was a horrible mistake, scenes much like what had happened in the barn where happening with humans all around, kingdom soldier's were also within the fray however they where doing much the same as gramps, there were even some goblins who looked to be rotting wih maggots covering their faces and bodies. What was happening? Was this real? These questions where popping up one after another and I couldn't believe what was happening, I even saw one that looked to be an adventurer, a flat chested girl eating a baby. The scene was to surreal, I left for my house horror stricken at what I'd just seen, luckily It seems that not many of them can move very quickly and despite being grabbed a few times, I just shedded the clothing they grabbed unto and kept on running towards my home the last safe haven I could think of at the moment was my place since it was were me and my brother had lived out our lives with our long past parents.

Like said before, I had gone to my house and arrived safely, luckily the windows are rather high up and the front doesn't have any, it was the first time I'd ever been thankful for such a bizzare design, and so I spent the next following hours in utter silence fearing what was outside, the moaning, the screams, the gut churning chewing of what I knew was human flesh, I had to block it out it would hinder my livelihood and I knew that if I focused on it I would go insane.

Over a couple of hour's have passed since I heard anything outside, the mental toll I've taken is also present, being alone while hearing the demise of all the people you knew and love isn't easy even if you're blocking half of it out. I needed to go take a small look just a tiny glimpse of what was happening outside it was killing me not knowing whether or not they were still there. So I got up from behind the counter of my kitchen and slowly approached the window, I couldnt have been more wrong on what to do, the same girl I saw eating away a baby was now staring directly at me, making matters worse it screamed so loudly that I thought the windows were about to break. Shit what was I going to do, what's going to happen to me. After she gave the scream those creatures began surrounding the house and I let out another scream out of panic, dammit what's going to happen if they get through? I know, that sword my brother kept under his bed. Getting under the bed to make sure I wasn't noticed wasn't easy as the bed was rather close to the ground, had all the room's contained doors this would've been even better but alas my family was only able to make ends meet. I heard strong sounds coming from the doors and each time they happened the very foundation of the house shook, *Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam, Bash*, on the final hit I heard the door collapse, I couldn't believe it, a normal person couldn't possibly had brought a door as sturdy as that one down it was even held back by a wooden bar this was insane, this things were obviously no longer humans, no they were definitely monster's. Whatever entered the room gave another roar and the sounds around me stopped, the only thing that could be heard now was the shambling of whatever broke the door and got in. Never had I been so terrified in my life I was frozen solid and I wasn't even sure if I was breathing anymore the shock was just to great.

Whatever this monster is it doesn't seem to have any heightened senses or intelligence, because I know had it been humans or any other type of semi rational monsters they would've instantly searched under the bed; however I can't relax yet he's still in this room for some reason, he came back as if he wasn't satisfied with not finding anything. Huh wait he's choking on something no he's vomiting something up what could it be!

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"(Toka)

No way I couldn't hold it in im dead, he vomited the upper part of a baby and it was still moving, gods this is just horrible is this hell or something else no way am I still in Corulant. Ah it grabbed me.

"Kyaaah, no stop it let go of me please let go!"(Toka)

I said, as I kicked and yelled for my life, meaningless of course as it trew me ouside of the room with a simple pull. The next place to go was the door, however outside only layed the army of monster's that was as silent as they were surely dead, I saw her go out of the room and into my field of vision at that moment I noticed that it wasn't even a girl but a guy, a rather androgynous one at that he was just a beautiful as a nobles daughter had his chest not been clawed out. This final stupid thoughts coursed through my mind as I knew my death was coming. His eyes were neither expressive nor fully dead of course they weren't one of the living either they looked as if they'd gone into hell and come back with nothing but hatred and the emotionless of the corpse he was. Powerlessness and despair were the words that could've described me at that moment as I trembled while holding my brother's sword in my shaky hands. He stepped closer and closer and all I could do was barely stand until he was right in front of me.

"Hyaaaaaaah!"(Toka)

I screamed as I thrusted my sword towards his chest pretty sure around the area the heart would be located in a human especially since it was almost visible. And, nothing happened, neither a flinch nor an expression of pain could be seen on his face as slowly but surely he came in to take the bites that would rob me of my life. One, two, three, four, five, six, six bites; six bites was all it took until I, Toka Rendall and the entire village of Tarnea died, during the 13th day, of the 6th month of the Warm twin Heroes.
