Conner's Point Of View

Kate is upset with the news of John's death. scratch that, she is pained so much that she just stopped talking to me. Eron was also sad at the news however tried to cheer up Kate. Nina blamed me for it, asking me why did I send John on such a dangerous mission alone? if there was anyone else who could do it I would have. but he chose the path he walked down. Lilian as an elf just looked forward to meeting John again in the next world. it is not there culture to be sad for loss, just smile at the life they lived and be happy that they are at peace. Yuna and Eily have not received the news yet as they are in the 3 Fists Academy.

"Conner" Clark said to me from behind with a smile... was it good news? "There is a way to bring back John" Clark said to me with a smile, wrong, that is not good news, that is GREAT news.

"I will tell the others" I said as I went off to tell them.

"It will reveal his identity as Origami, it is a Paper Dungeon rated impossible difficulty with 485 floors. No monster in there right mind would..." Before Clark could finish Kieran ran up to him with a sparkle in his eye.

"Tell me more about this dungeon" Kieran said and Clark looked at his level and then looked scared but sad at the same time.

"Kieran.... Every part of me tells me that this is the worst thing to say.... however you are to weak" Clark said to him

"You are level 38,963,734,184,094,849,934. the average level requirement for 8/10 people to do it is 98,000,000,000,000,000,000... you would not be able to make it" Clark said, sending a shiver down my spine.... That monster is to weak? he can go toe to toe with a Divine Dragon and he is not even a dragon slayer. NOBODY can say the same. but I suppose even Kieran has his weaknesses.

"I am to weak? I can use Burst mode and increase my strength by 800,000. I can use Super burst to increase my strength by 180,000,000 times that of my normal strength. you yourself have seen my power and you say I am two weak because of my level? I have advantages that no normal person has, I defy death itself and you are saying I cant do it?" Kieran said in protest shaking the ground and sending cracks throughout the walls around us.

"Then go off and try to beat it, I can't stop you however I think I know a way to get through the dungeon. it is most likely going to be somehow related to his powers in life, so I expect dragons already, So we will need a strong dragon slayer. we will also need someone who can understand his Paper power, that is where I come in. we will also need someone who can heal the rest of the group in case of emergencies, we will need someone on crowd control and someone who can deal heavy damage without flaw. we will also need someone who can scout ahead and let us plan our next move.

"So you want you me and Verod Dragonsbane to team up with Nina Isaac Michael Kate and someone who can heal?" Kieran said for confirmation "Who we have with Lilian's Potions... anything else?" Kieran added making Clark look confused.

"At least John has a wide variety of friends" Clark said with a smile."If that is the case we should use my Gamer Ability to make them all stronger by getting you to kill as many creatures in a random Blue Mist Dungeon as you can" Clark finished and Kieran smiled.

"Or we could move to the super hard impossible dungeon and I take care of it by powering my way through giving you levels so you can hold off for whatever 5 minuets I may get knocked out for..." Kieran was about to finish however I placed my hand on his shoulder

"You have been waiting countless years for a challenge however don't be so fast to end your own fun" I said while hoping to convince him to calm down and think clearly.

"he said it takes those super high levels and 10 of them, I by my self can do that with Burst Mode alone." Kieran said in protest however he had a Paper Book thrown into him and he fell to the ground. "What was that? I didn't even hat time to heal" Kieran said much to my surprise.

"A small taste of the power he gained as Origami. if you can't even beat me then what chance do you have, you are to WEAK" Clark said however he sounded angry at his own words. "You cant power your way through paper. its damage is a percentage. if I hit you with 10 Book Throws at once, no mater who you are, you will die. even you Kieran" Clark said causing Kieran to go silent.

"So what, sit around for a year while everyone else grows stronger? that will take to long. you said it was his last earthly tether right? sorry to say they vanish after 9 days" Kieran said putting a heavy silence over the room. I know I wont win. He has an eye that kills all organic material, I would die and drift in the void for a few years before I am forced back into existence" Kieran said but had more to say so we let him have his pause. "John will be dead in 9 days if we do nothing and I don't have a way to help him, the only way I know is to charge head on through the dungeon in Super Burst and try and save him" Kieran said with a pained expression.

"we have 9 days to save him?" Clark asked for conformation however sounded like he had a plan. "Then I will be out for a bit, I may be able to come back strong enough to beat the dungeon with everyone's help, however this will not be easy. I need to achieve the level of power Origami had... after that, I will enter the dungeon alone, you will wait an hour before following me in with Super Burst. then everyone else will come in at there own speed. that way we can maximise our Floor clearing efficiency.does that sound like a good enough plan?" Clark asked however not before Kieran's objection.

"How long will it take you to get to his level of paper control?" Kieran asked and Clark shrugged.

"I hope at the very most a day, with my new powers I feel like I may even be able to get stronger then he was if I train myself to the very limit. fear not. I will be back, and we will save John" Clark said as he walked off.

"with that said I will go and tell Kate the good news. I know it will cheer her up" I said to myself as I left an annoyed Kieran behind to sulk at not being able to go and fight strong opponents. I knocked on Kate's door and opened it. she was fast asleep with eyes still wet from tears. Eron was also asleep but I don't even see her awake in class. so nothing new.

"KATE!!!" I shouted causing both Kate and Eron to jump out of there skin and then directed a wall of Bloodlust at me. "There is a way to bring John back to life, however it has a deadline. grow as strong as you can as that deadline ends in 9 days" I said and she jumped for joy before hearing 9 days she immediately ran out the door for some kind of training, Eron left to tell the others. with that my work is done, I will just sit back and wait, an AI can not enter the land between the living and the dead so I will hang back on this one. Verod appeared next to me with a smile.

"You finally did it old friend" He said to me with a smile however I shook my head.

"I will say that when everyone is home safe and sound. for now John is a top priority" I said to Verod causing him to enter his serious mode.

"What happened?" Verod said with a serious tone that is more scary then any angry tone he has.

"You must have saw the explosion from where you were in the Big Tree Academy. he was at the centre of it with no ability to revive" I said simply and he clenched his fists.

"there always has to be a sacrifice doesn't there" He said sending a few curses at the divines. "At least it was not in vain" Verod added with a smile.

"Yes, and if we can save him before 9 days comes to pass we get to prevent his death. however it will be the most difficult thing you will ever have went through. Clark Teta, the new inheritor of the Gamer Ability said that Kieran was to weak to do it" I said that and he almost coughed up a lung laughing.

"THAT MONSTER? HAHAHAA, sure, I will believe that when there exists someone else who can level a continent... your being serious?" Verod questioned returning to a serious tone. "Damn, what had John got himself into now?" Verod asked already knowing the answer.

"a lot of trouble, however with your help we could have a chance of freeing him. we expect Dragons and Dragon Slayer related thing on a few floors so you being the specialist on that I thought you could help" I said causing him to nod in agreement.

"Yes... Sure, I will help anyway I can, the entire world owes him more then they know so we have to repay that somehow. right?" Verod said with a smile and I nodded. "With that I will take my leave, call upon me when you are ready to enter" Verod said with a smile before leaving. I wonder how John is finding the next world?

John's Point Of View

where am I? I thought I died, shouldn't I be in the next world right now?

"h.l." I heard a mumble from nowhere. I look around with my non-existent eyes and see nothing but a black void, there is a platform of paper in the distance, it is slightly below me and around 80 meters away. it looks like there are stairs leading up to it however I can't see to clearly. I can't hear where that mumble originates from, in a few of my dreams I hear it, but not clearly. Looking around I can't see anything clearly, I feel weak but I will try to stay concious at least. looking around I start to drift and I then appear in a white void... not much different... I then realise I have a body again, and immediately regret it because I guess clothes are not a part of your soul. if anyone sees me like this I will die of embarrassment... wait I am already dead... I WILL DIE AGAIN!!!!

"help" I hears a voice say, it was behind me, I turned to see a child in a Paper Mask exactly like my own as Origami. I walked over to this kid who luckily was wearing clothes.

"Are you ok? what do you need help with?" I asked and she looked at me through the Paper Mask, however she then looked at me confused.

"Father?" the child said and immediately my entire body hurt and I appeared back in the black void without a body... WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT? is death screwing with me, I have never had sex in my life so I cant have a child.... oh crap I died a virgin, Regret.... Regret is so painful right now. I look around again and sure enough I can see a Paper Platform, but this time there is someone standing on it. Kate is there and she looks like she had just been through a war, battered and bruised but smiled happily at me... what happened to her?

Chapter 53 - Labyrinth Of The Void Stalker

Everyone enters the dungeon, however they are lost, they all start in different parts of the dungeon. moving in any direction changes the floor you are on, it can move you up a floor or down a floor, or up 80 floors or down 80 floors. what will happen in such a strange dungeon?

I hope you enjoyed the chapter, I would have released it sooner however someone only read the first 10 chapters and rated the story horribly, I wish I could reply to reviews and say that it gets better... I hope at least... oh well, nothing I can do now.
