Kate's Point Of View

I enter the ring with Origami, I look him eye to eye, "I wont just be flung out the ring like Eron, And I can burn through Paper runes or freeze them so they cant put up a barrier. you cant win" I said to him and he smiled. a big glowing white 3 came up in front of both of us, then counted down.

"We shall see about making it so you cant fall out the ring, this will also keep prying eyes off of us so I wont be holding back" Origami said as the counter said go. a dome of paper surrounded the ring and under our feet. nothing could get in or out, I doubt even the referee can see inside of here, what is he planning? "Now. please make this interesting or you may get hurt" Origami finished with before he vanished, he started bouncing from the floor to the ceiling jumping around so fast I could not keep up. he then landed behind me and I felt like he was about to impale me with a Paper Spear however I froze the floor and my feet, I avoided swiftly as I span around and kicked him with a leg full of fire. he blocked it with a Paper Shield in his right hand and used a Paper Sword in his left to slash at me, however I avoided by kicking off from his shield and powered up my fire aura and launched a Fire Wall at him, he could not avoid it so he raised a wall of Paper, it blocked against my fire however was quickly burnt to cinders. I then charged at him with Lava aura and punched him in the chest, causing his chest to open up and reveal that it was just a paper clone, I looked around and on the ceiling was Origami.

"I am sufficiently impressed, you are fighting with an excellent form, observing my moves and countering them while remaining without a scratch, well done" Origami said while clapping slowly, still on the roof of the dome of paper, "However if that is all you have you will only succeed in burning Paper Clones. I is great fun watching though" Origami added almost as if to insult me and make me show an opening, I wont give you the chance.

"Origami, you will not get away with taking me lightly, I will burn you into the ground" I said to him while I jumped at him with Phoenix Wings, He looked shocked as I sent a wave of fire at him, he did burn to dust but only to reveal he was a clone, I look back at the ground and see a hundred clones, "Stop Mocking ME" I said as I burnt each one with fire, wait could he be? I looked up and burnt the dome and sure enough a smiling Origami fell from above the dome, he must have switched with a clone when he was jumping all over the place. damn him, the dome regenerated and he charged at me with a smile.

"Forgive me for taking you lightly, I will have to take you with a few extra tons. Paper Weight" Origami said and as soon as he did I felt myself being crushed into the ground. Damn you, I can fight with this no problem. I moved to kick him however he jumped on top of my leg shot me with a Paper Bullet and humped over me with a front flip landing on the ground behind me. "Can't move as fast as you could before? the few extra tons will do that to you" Origami said with a smile as he created a few Paper Spiders the size of normal spiders and they jumped at me, started wrapping me up in a Paper Web, I burnt through it with ease however when I did Origami was gone and I had a spear in my chest. "Wow, I bet you wanted John's 'Spear' to be the first one to penetrate you so deep however to late" Origami said with a smile as he removed his spear, I did not use Phoenix Reborn like he thought I would, I used Fire Bolt and shot it through the wound he created burning his surprised face, part of his mask came off... John? He fixed his mask up and looked at me seriously and calmly.

"Careful Kate, I cant let this mask come off yet, I have so much more to do" Origami said to me with a smile. wait... no I know I saw someone else, for a moment I felt it, it was familiar... John, why would John be.... no who?

"Relax Kate, I said I would be back after I finished the quest, so wait a little longer" Origami said to... John said to me with a smile, I got up and hugged him. then I punched him in the gut with a fist full of molten lava.

"You leave, bring down an academy, kill me with a Paper Spear twice and then show up at a tournament and don't tell us a thing. and then because you had your identity revealed you think nothing will go wrong?" I said angrily at him. he looked sad for a moment before I grabbed him by the back of the head and brought him in and kissed him. "You dummy, we could have helped" I said to him and I felt a spear of paper penetrate my again.

"Sorry Kate, I love you so much but I have to do this, you will most likely forget this ever even happened but if you don't, just pretend like I am and Origami are two different people, I need to do this and if you need to ask anyone ask Conner" John said before I started to loose consciousness....

John's Point Of View

HOLY CRAP, I almost died countless times throughout this tournament and managed to get be and somehow still act like a cool mysterious fighter... and time to finish what I started. the Referee suddenly appeared in front of me with a satisfied expression. he was no referee, he was the Headmaster, the one behind this void, cursed to never sleep or fall unconscious lest his void breaks apart.

"Origami, for a criminal you have won in this tournament and have won the rights to this book, feel free to take it and start your 10 seconds of running before countless people start chasing you down for your bounty" The headmaster said as he held a book in his hands. I walked over and put my hand on the book and smiled.

"I do have one last thing, a gift in return for a most enjoyable tournament and a useful book to sell to whoever I please since all I can use is paper" I said before creating a piece of paper and placing it on him, he looked confused before he looked both furious and terrified at the same time. "The gift of sleep to break your curse" I said as he fell asleep. then I look around at the Academy that is becoming unstable, I create a portal made of paper and leave. I need to find a good place to check my blue boxes because I will have a ton, when I exit I see A big ball in the sky, breaking apart revealing the academy, a bunch of people start appearing all around me, they looked confused but then at me with rage. I just avoided them with ease as I started running for the hills. however I was being chased by a stealthy Nina who followed me through my portal.

"Stop you fiend" Nina said from behind me, I then stopped and she crashed head first into me, she pushed herself off clutching he noes, "That was mean" Nina said to me with a tear rolling down her face... cute.

"Did you or did you not ask me to stop, if you did not expect me to stop why did you ask and why were you not prepared for me to stop?" I said pointing out her flawless reason for calling me mean with a smile.

"s...Shut Up, your evil and I am going to catch you" Nina said with a proud deceleration. I disappeared and repapered behind her using Paper Weightlessness.

"And you will 'catch' me how?" I said emphasising the word catch, she smiled at me and I immediately knew I had to get out of there.

"I Prince Lavlus Command you, HALT!" Lavlus said causing me to be unable to move a muscle, Eron, Nina, Lavlus, Michael, Lin, 00391, Isaac and a few other fighters were now surrounding me. damn it I let my guard down, But I can come back from .

"Clever, I forgot that Lavlus could do that, however you are unable to freeze my Paper" I said as I created a pack of Paper Wolves, the wolves are useful for crowd control and useful because they are faster then my clones, however they are less durable. with that being done I made it rain paper blocking people's sight and sent out multiple clones in every direction, sure enough this made people start chasing the clones, I then sent a Paper Bullet at Lavlus making his concentration falter, I then regained movement and used Paper Weightlessness again to run the hell away with 2 clones following me, they then stood back and stopped Nina from following me with a spin kick to her head and a low kick to her legs causing her to go flying, the paper clones then turned to paper as I got out of range, I then jumper on a Paper Plane and flew off.

"That was close" I said to myself looking back at them.

"You have no idea" Kieran said to me with a smile as he also stood on my paper plane right behind me. DAMN IT, why did it have to be him? WHY? anyone else? I would face a god if I had to but this guy is to much. he is immortal and it took a trained Divine Dragon with Fighting Spirit Aura to beat him by a hair and he is not a dragon slayer. could my luck get ANY worse? oh well, I turn around, face to face with Kieran, a mysterious monster that not even my Gamer Ability can understand...

Chapter 48 - Man VS Monster

John was trying to get away however the worst possible situation happened, Kieran stands face to face with Origami, and they are already 500 meters in the sky. will he be able to escape the grasp of such a monster?
