《The Games That Bind Us》Chapter 1 - the academy of hell (RW)

I had finally arrived, I have spend the last hour with my head dragged around by a giant Headmaster of the Three Fists Academy. I stand outside the door to what looks to be a mountain in the shape of a fist. I wonder why they call it the Three Fists Academy? I look around and sure enough there are two other fists just like it behind me, there is a triangle in-between them which is full of trees and strange plants. I look back to the mountain I am in front of. 'The Learning Fist' is wrote above the door. I look to Conner as he crouches through the door. I then get a better chance to look around. it is basically a bunch of classrooms and a huge library of every book you could think off. I smirk at the thought of how powerful I would be if I read all the books in there.
"Oh that is right, I forgot to ask, what powers do you have? or do you just have high potential?" Conner asked me curiously and I look at him confused. "Do you have any unique abilities or do you just have very high potential for growth?" Conner said while getting out some paper and a orange crayon. I stop him there and think.
"It is a unique ability with high growth potential? I have the title MMO Gamer" I said looking at him with a confused expression as to what that makes me and I cant tell what he is thinking under his mask, but he starts laughing.
"John, that is one hell of a unique ability. I will have to put you in 'That' class" Conner said with his mask pulling a grin which scared me. wait.... what is 'That' class? what the hell is 'That' class? "Fear not, you most likely will survive" Conner said with a smile as he gave me a map. "Go there to meet your new classmates." Conner said before vanishing. I would say he has a high level but I have nothing to compare it to. oh well, I walk over to my class and open the door. I see 3 people sitting there.

[Illusion Master]
[Level: 56]
[Isaac Berington]
Ok, an Illusion Master should be expected they are very useful in monster hunting and distractions. I look to the next name.
[Burning Phoenix]
[Level 57]
[Kate White]
I guess that is a fire mage? they are useful at dealing heavy damage but get tired quickly. oh well, I look to the next person.
[On This World I Walk Alone]
[Level: 38,000,000,000,000]
[Kieran The Immortal]
WHAT THE HELL IS THAT MONSTER? an Immortal? I guess you would have to be to get to that level... at least I know who not to get on the bad side of... damn monster.... I look around and it looks like nobody else is here yet. I move to take a seat, there is 12 rows of seats and 3 columns, I take a seat as far as possible from Kieran. he sits nearest the door so I am now sitting furthest away. Isaac is sitting one seat behind Kieran, Kate is moving over to me?
"Hello there, My name is Kate White. who are you?" Kate said with a smile and I smiled back.
"I am John Richardson" I said before moving back to ignore the person who could kill me in an instant. she looks at me strange for a while before she looks like she remembered something.
"Wait, are you John Richardson from onset village?" Kate asked curiously and I nodded my head, she then smiled before taking a seat next to me. "so, did you ever meat anyone nice in the village?" Kate asked me curiously. I then thought.
"Hmm... I would have to say that the village was out of the way so not many people visited and nobody was around my age. so I don't think so." I said honestly causing Kate to look at me curiously, then she started to ignore me... what a strange person. I look to the front and a few more people walk in.

[All Seeing Eyes]
[Level: 57]
[Victoria Tan]
[Human Cyborg]
[Level: 62]
[00391]
[Heart Breaker]
[Level: 56]
[Ruby Bell]
interesting, they all hold a lot of power, and yet I am a level 6, I have to grow quick, a Gamers level can be deceiving as they can ONLY grow in level through killing things and using the life energy, they can also raise their stats through hard work, I will probably be doing a lot of the latter here, unless I can get given quests.
[Teacher]
[Level: 781]
[Sir Andrew]
he is literally called Sir Andrew... his parents must have really hated him while he was growing up... oh well, so far there are 7 people in the class... I was expecting less...
"Hello, I am Sir Andrew and I will be teaching you for until you graduate or die" Sir Andrew said with a smile on his face. Is anyone going to catch him out on saying die? anyone? ok then. "I will now put you with a partner, you will be stuck with this partner for the rest of your 5 years here... or 3 days for some, give or take..." Sir Andrew said while taking a glance at me... that cheep son of a"ANYway lets move on, Kieran, you will be by yourself, Isaac shall pair up with Victoria. 00391 shall pair up with Ruby. Leaving Kate stuck with John. first lesson starts in 20 minuets so talk with your partner until then" Sir Andrew said with a smile.
[Because Of Overwhelming Bloodlust Directed At You A Skill Has Been Created]
[Detect Bloodlust; You can now detect bloodlust when it is aimed at you. detection raises with skill level and Wisdom]
Oh My Erthona that cant be good. for those of you who don't know, Erthona is the Divine Goddes Of Games, the reason for my power. cool right? oh wow, Kate must Like me so much she went full circle and is feeling angry? no? just hates me? thought so.
"Sir Andrew, why do I have to be partnered with 'Him'" Kate said pointing at me but she did not get a response. "Father will hear about this" Kate said while going to grab my head just like Conner did. I avoided but it turns out that a level 50+ has a higher Dexterity then a level 6... who would have thought? she then caught me on her second try lowering my health by a full 1000 HP. this is going to be a good day, I can already tell. Sarcasm? what is that?
Kate then started running off to somewhere. she is going up stairs, a lot of them... she is going to throw me off the roof isn't she? wait no, the map of the building shows no roof access. oh wait, look, it is Conner's Office. she kicks the door down and walks over to Conner.
"Ahh, Kate, it is good to see you, why did you drag your partner all the way up to my office?" Conner said with a smile.
"Change it, now" Kate said with a serious smile, "I asked to be paired up with someone strong, not someone I will have to literally drag around everywhere" Kate added making Conner look at me.
"He has an infinite potential and didn't you say you wanted t.... watch out Kate" Conner said while looking out the window. there was a big blue dragon heading our way... wait... why does it look like it is looking right at me?
[Boss Fight: Zone Transfer has been activated]
I look around, Kate and Conner are gone, not the big dragon though, that thing just looks more hungry then ever.

8 93Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)

8 74The Book of Dreams Chapter Two, The Temple Of Dreams
This is the sequel to the 'The Book o Dreams, Chapter one, The staff and The Sword'. I wrote it during last year's NaNoWriMo and Writathon. If there is a need for more books in this series, I will continue in the next year's NaNoWriMo. Now the synopsis... The claws of chaos closed in on the land of Clover. After the plague bourne peace of three years, the plague of war once again reared its ugly head. And in a moment of vulnerability, the Moras house sent out marriage alliance proposals to the all influential noble houses. The bride? A mentally impaired Sena Moras, who clung to the last thread of her sanity; the last words the Shadewolf had left her. Away from the wars and politics, in the heart of the Dreaming mountains, her former companions, Erhan’s and his group still continued their journey to reach the Mountain of Hunger, where the legendary Book of Dreams lay enshrined. But the perils of their path increased as an unnatural surge in activity of the vicious Nightmares, whom even Erhan didn’t dare face in direct combat, stood in their way. And encompassing everything, lay a vague sense of a dread that only those with the gift of premonition could sense. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
