Before I knew it, a bright light began to assault my eyes. I open my eyes to see a large, white room. Nothing special seems to be anything in the room except a clock and this black sofa I’m laying on. If I remember correctly, they already installed the game “Limit Break” into the gear so all I would need to do is tell it to launch the game.
“Launch Limit Break,” I said while stretching.
Everything in the room began to disappear, the whole room turning into darkness. The clock and the sofa I was laying on disintegrated slowly. Then a majestic angel appeared before my eyes. Amazed by how something like this could be so beautiful, I noticed that my mouth was open while staring at her the entire time.
“Hello there Lewis,” the angel said in a very low voice.
Holy shit. It’s a fucking guy, he’s a fucking trap. How can something beautiful be a guy?
“Hey,” I said awkwardly.
“Welcome to Limit Break. I’m here as your guide so if you're experiencing any technical difficulties, please inform me.” After saying that, he disappeared.

What race do you wish to play?
Race:HumanDwarfElfBeastmenEach race begin with 2 special abilities. Until you reach level 10, you are only allowed to have 10 abilities.
HumanSpoiler : Just the usual norm
Racial Abilities:
Practice Makes Perfect: Chance to increase hit chance of skills repeatedly used.
Adaptability: Increase chance to improve elemental resistance depending on location.DwarfSpoiler : Rulers of the Inner Core
Racial Abilities:
Metalwork: Reduce requirements of metal-based equipment by half.
Chug! Chug!: Increase Strength by 20% when drunk.ElfSpoiler : Keepers of knowledge
Racial Abilities:
Runner: Increase Agility by 10% in the forest
Knowledgeable: Increase Intelligence and Wisdom by 5% permanentlyBeastmenSpoiler : Wildones
Racial Abilities:
Instincts: Increase Agility and Strength by 5% when HP drops below 10%
Power of the Wild: Increase Stamina Regen by 20% when resting.
Since I like running a lot, the Stamina Regen increase is very effective for me. However, reducing the requirements of metal-based equipment by half is also good, considering how mostly every good equipment require a lot of stats for you to use them. Then again, Human and Elf races are very good late game, increasing your stats permanently.
Ok. Since I’m probably going to focus on my studies, I’m probably not going to play this game for very long. That leaves me with Dwarf and Beastmen.
“Beastmen.” Sorry but I’m not going around being short. I know that's pretty mean, but I just don’t want to be an alcoholic and a midget. Just being true about myself.

Just then my body seemed to change. My whole body started to tingle nonstop. After the tingling stopped, everything went numb. My teeth became as sharp as a shark’s. Before I know it, my clothes were stripped from me and my whole body was covered with hair; everything from my hands to even between my toes. My nails began to sharpen themselves forming sharp claws.
Then a large mirror appeared right in front of me.

Would you like to make any changes?
“Decrease hair by 99%.” The hair everywhere began to disappear.
“Shorten nail length by 10% in hands and feet please.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After my transformation, I look more like a normal human with beastmen qualities. My nails are just as sharp but not too long. My hair is normal, not as bushy as before. Body mass and muscle are equally distributed to be similar to what I’m comfortable with.

“Random,” I said when saw I hundreds of locations to begin in. I probably wasted an hour just adjusting the way I look.
Everywhere around me began to lighten up now. A bright light then flashed right into my eyes, blinding me. While covering my eyes with my hands, I feel a cold breeze. I began to get my vision back and to discover that I’m somewhere in the mountains.
Town: Taford
Population: 1600
Inhabitants: Mixed human and other civilized races
Town Description:
The town is built upon a grid of streets and alleys. It is governed by an order of knights and warriors, led by a female human named Kater Mesor.
Seems like a good starting location for someone new. It also seems like there should be a lot of quests connecting to the order of knights and warriors. Well no time to waste.
While walking into the town, I can see that it's quite busy. There’s a lot of stalls on both sides, so I’m probably in the marketplace. The design of this town looks to resemble medieval times. After walking for a short while, it seems that there are slums in this town. There are beggars and dirty little kids running within the alleys.
“Someone help,” a yell could be heard farther down the street.
A dark robed man seemed to be running towards my direction. He seems pretty sketchy so he’s probably the cause of the problem. Right before running past me, I extended my foot.
The man didn’t just fall, he skidded his face on the ground multiple times. It also seems that the person who yelled earlier came panting.
“Thanks for stopping him,”
“No problem. What happened?”
“He ordered food at our inn over there,” she pointed in the direction she came from. “After eating, he just left without paying so I ran after him,” after a long pause. “Thanks for stopping him. We’ll let you stay for one night in the inn for free as thanks.”
‘Thanks. I guess I’ll see you later then,” I said happily.
After walking even farther into the city, there was the essential building an adventurer would need. Guild hall, Inn, Training Hall, and the Magic Academy.
Considering that my race is a Beastmen, I should really focus on the Training Hall. I doubt that my magic ability is as strong as an Elf.
After walking into the building, a body was sent straight into the wall right in front of me. It looked like he was hit so hard he was sent flying. Looking closely it also seems that he’s completely knocked out. On top of that, a big hole was ripped on his shirt above his heart. It seems that whatever hit him also had so much pressure that it made a gaping hole on his shirt.
You have been affected by fear. After witnessing a strong showing of power, you have fallen in fear. Decrease in Willpower and Strength for 5 minutes.
Standing in the middle of the room was an old man. He was probably the one who sent that guy flying. I’m guessing that he’s a martial arts master or something. There is no way a normal person without martial arts experience would do so much damage to a guy.
Well that just means that I need a lot of training to become a monster like that.
Right when I was about to continue to walk forward, a girl in a formal dress stepped into my way.

“Hello there adventurer. Would you like to train in the Training Hall?” she asked me kindly.
“Yes please.”
“It seems that you’re new, so before you begin the training, you need to register to get your ID,” she said holding up a card. “Your ID card will contain all your information so it would be easier for NPC’s like me to know who you are.”
The card that she was holding up was just like a driver's licence. It contained name, gender, level, relationship, title, and amount of gold.
“What are the uses for this ID?” I asked her.
“This ID can also be used like what you adventurers call a debit card. This will also let you enter the capital and other different locations. There are also different types of ID’s.” she then pulled out 8 cards. “Plastic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Challenger, and Master. Each are tiers of which the card is made out of and each tier is distributed depending on your Fame. The Plastic cards will have a lot of restrictions while the Master tier card have little to no restrictions. For example, you wouldn’t be able to take up a rank S quest in the task board in the Guild hall unless you're at least Diamond tier.”
I guess that means I would need my card to buy products in the marketplace. At least the more I know.
“Where do I register?”
“Come this way,” she says while she leads me into the corner of the building which looks like her office.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After registering and obtaining my ID, she told me that I could now train. She also told me that there are multiple masters in the Training Hall but only some are willing to take up disciples.
Looks like it’s not just going to be hard training but also hard work finding a master that is willing to even train me.
She told me that the easiest way is to search for the type of martial arts that I’m interested in. All the martial arts were supposed to be listed on the board next to the entrance.
Some of the martial arts on the board was…
Board
[Martial Arts]
Taekwondo
Jujutsu
Aikido
Judo
Kendo
Karate
Tahtib
Muay Thai
Nhat Nam
Moraingy
Quarterstaff
Kampfringen
[/tr]
Well since I’m a soccer player I should use a martial arts that focuses on legs. Taekwondo matches my style and interest so I should look for the Taekwondo master. Now comes one of the challenges. I hope the master is accepting disciples.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After going around searching for the master, it seems that he’s no where to be found. Whenever I asked where I could find him, I was ignored like I wasn’t even there.
Right when I was going to give up and look for another martial arts to learn, an elderly lady came up to me.
“Oh, you're looking for Master Jin? If you would like to find him, you would need to go outside of town to find him. Try going up the mountains near the waterfall; you might find him there.”
“Thank you.”
After leaving the Training Hall and the town, I learned it’s not going to be an easy task. The mountain is larger than what I expected. It’s going to take forever for me to climb this sucker. Well who said learning a martial arts was going to be easy?
I began my expedition up the mountain. After a while of hiking up the mountain I found out that there was a lot of wildlife. There seems to be a lot of animals ranging from rabbits, fawns, owls, and even giant dragonflies. Just then, the sun started to set right behind the mountain. It was such a beautiful sight that not everyone could experience. Just when I thought it couldn’t become any more beautiful, the scent of flowers lingered in the air. It was a very relaxing walk up the mountain but I needed to keep up the pace. So I began to run up the mountain which ended quickly after a few minutes of running.
Out of Stamina
Well it’s a good thing I choose the Beastmen race, giving me increase Stamina Regen whenever I rested. The base stat for Stamina Regen should be 1.0% so while resting should be 1.2%. This might not be much but it’s very helpful for something like this.
Running and resting for about an hour.
You have reached higher altitude, increase in Stamina usage by 10%.
At least after an hour of harsh hell I increased both Stamina and Stamina Regen stats.
After another hour of running and resting.
You have reached higher altitude. increase in Stamina usage by 30%.
Fuck this is going to suck so much. This better be worth it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After about 4 more hours of running and resting, I was at the peak of the mountain. Just like what the elderly lady said, there’s a cottage right on the top of the mountain under a bunch of trees. My body is burning and filled with sweat. It feels like that night I was totally fatigued in our last game of the season. I've already been given a huge disadvantage when my Stamina usage was increased to 80%. However, a lot of windows have popped up telling me that I’ve increased my Stamina and Stamina Regen stats like crazy.
Building up enough power to move my body, I begin to walk towards the cottage.
When I arrived in front of the door, there was light seeping through around the the edges of the door, which means there’s a high possibility that someone is inside. Considering that he's a master of a martial art and can highly kill me without a sweat, I should really show respect and knock on his door.
*Knock* *Knock*
“Hello,” I said so he knows that it’s a person knocking on his door and not some weird noise outside or something.
“State your business,” demanded the voice inside the cottage.
“I heared that I could find Master Jin in the mountains.”
“Why do you want to find him?”
“I would like to become his disciple.”
After about a minute of quietness, the door sprang open. A figure was in front me wearing a silver and gold robe. He looks to be about in his late 40s and 5’8”.
“Well. Come in.”
After going inside the cottage, there was nothing in the room but a bed, table, and a fireplace. It was as simple as it can be, nothing special about the cottage.
“Why don’t you tell me about why you would like to be my disciple,” he asked kindly.
So I told him about the sport I played and the tragic mishap that happened to me.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Sorry to hear about what happened, but you should know how much determination is needed to survive my teachings.”
“I’ll never back down, I already went up this mountain so I won’t just go back down empty handed.”
“I like your answer. But before I teach you about Taekwondo, you should learn more about it,” he said seriously. “The story about Renewal Taekwondo”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea, I'm a fan of "The God of High school" so I'm using the background and skills of Renewal Taekwondo. If you've never heard of the manga I recommend you to read it.
Still having a lot of difficulty making the blue Boxes LOL :P Took me a whole day playing around with it.
Would you guys like to know his status window?

A Friendly Voidling
When a Creature of the Void fails to find friendship among her own kind, she instead sets her sights upon another, human-filled world. Unfortunately, humans turn out to be rather small and squishy things, resulting in a mostly accidental trail of death, destruction and madness as she embarks on her journey to finally make some friends. This is a 25k word inane short story, and makes no attempt at being serious or realistic. It's my first attempt at trying a more comedic writing style. No relation to my other stories, aside from a brief cameo. Cover bodged together with Charat Genesis. Not quite the design I had in mind, but reasonably close. Doesn't contain explicit smut, but does contain references to stuff happening off-screen. May contain traces of gore. Also eels, in varying states of distress. Posted here and scribblehub.

Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun.
