In the world of Earth there was no such thing as supernatural beings or godlike entities, but one. The sand god. He was currently in the air above earth, pondering a conflict that he wasn't sure on how to resolve.

'Hmmm. Right now it seems that humanity is using up all of the sand on glass, and not just that. THEY have come. The Sand Devourers. I need to do something.. quickly before it's too late.' The sand god thought to himself, he was currently wearing a tuxedo with his short black hair slicked back, he had just been with his wife.

'It looks like I'll need to intervene and deal with this problem personally. I will lock away humanity in a deep sleep until there is another sand god that awakens.. while they're sleeping I will hold off the Sand Devourers myself..' The sand god began to tear up thinking about this, he himself had a lot that he would need to give up in order to make this all work.

'The devourers.. are nasty.' He thought to himself, the devourers themselves took on the appearance of a Sea Snail, the ultimate enemy of all Sand Gods. They may not be strong singularly, however, once there was many it became a catastrophe.

The sand god using his abilities, covered all of earth in a sheet of sand and casted a spell with one thought, causing all of humanity to enter a deep sleep, the dreams they would have would all be about sand in one way or another, doing so increased the chance of a sand god appearing.

"Now.. it's my time to go down..' The sand god then teleported to India and began to fight off the Sand Devourers single handedly, hoping that another sand god would soon arrive and assist him. He knew that he might die doing this, but he had to protect the most important thing to him, even if it meant death, even if it meant missing his growth. He had to protect his son, Rin.

'Rin.. stay safe.. emerge a sand god and help me defeat them! If anyone.. I know you can do it.' With tears in his eyes the sand god continued fighting on and on, hoping one day his son would awake.
