After a few hours of playing his favorite game and grinding, Rin needed a long needed break. He had school tomorrow, he couldn't play all day!
"Yes police, that's the house. I was driving and this.. monster.. he J-walked!" A man shaking in fear said
"Understood, we'll take care of it. Rest assured that this criminal mastermind won't roam free!" Is what the cop said but what he thought internally was this
'This smart criminal is too elusive! I don't have enough evidence to bring him in.. How long is he going to hide in this dilapidated building?!'
The cop stroked his chin as he thought. Just as he was about to knock the door swung open, hitting him in the face.
"I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" Rin said as he ran out of his house, with fear in his eyes.
Rin knew that his teachers were ruthless and that if he was late he'd have to pay the price. Maybe they'd even take one of his jars of sand! That can't happen!
".. Assaulting a police officer huh. Its right of us to keep track of this guy.. I'll need to follow him for a while, a guy like this surely has connections. Bringing him down will be difficult." The officer said, looking at where the young kid ran.
*Ding Dong!*
'That's the school bell! Thank god I made it in time! Today's going to be a great day. We will learn about all sorts of rocks and sands in earth history!' The kid thought as he ran through the school gates and straight all the way into his classroom.
"Just in time huh Rin?" an ancient, disgusting droopy, looking teacher said
"Yes teacher! I'm here! Please show me your sand collection!" Rin said with sparkles in his eyes

"Do you truly think you deserve to see THE collection?" The teacher grinned
'Why are they interrupting class... We came here to learn..' The other students thought but didn't dare say anything to this scary teacher.
"Yes please please!" Rin cried out
"I will.. on one condition.. make it to level 100 in Sand MMORPG! Then you will be worthy of seeing my collection, and joining my Sand Alliance!" The old man blurted out excitedly
"Yes teacher I hope I live up to your expectations! This unworthy one was able to make it to level 25 last night!" Rin said smiling
"25.. in one day.. My god. You're a prodigy! Everyone's first day is usually taken up on trying to gain the skill Sentience! Keep up the good work Rin.. I may sponsor you in the future." The old man said with tears in his eyes and a look of shock
"YES TEACHER!" Rin screamed
The other students were so tired of this 'event' that they all left.

Everyone knows how the general story is supposed to go. A man, unwittingly going about his normal and ordinary life, is suddenly whisked off to a game style fantasy world where he is expected to become the unwavering hero of the realm. That is until the summoned hero throws a Hail Mary and gets himself transported to a tutorial world before the summoning can be completed. As of June 2020, the story description has been updated (now that the characters have told me what was actually going on this author thought it prudent to update this) . While this is still fiction, I have been incorporating real life scientific theories and explanations for how things could be *plausibly* explained. The story is set in the Queendom of Falena, the universe of the JRPG game Suikoden V. Though technically a monarchy, the aristocracy holds so much power within Falena that their squabbles and power-plays threaten to de-stablise the whole country. Complicating matters is the presence of the Sun Rune, an royal artifact of apocalyptic power and one of the 27 True Runes in the world of Suikoden. The main character is the Prince of Falena, Freyjadour, who is an unimportant figurehead not in line to the throne. During one of his royal inspections, he meets Natsu, Happy, Gray, and Erza who are a part of an alternate universe (Fairy Tail) and helps them find a way back to their home. Little do they know that it's not only them who came to this world… [This is basically a novelization of the game but with different twists due to the multiple crossovers. Therefore, there is no need to know any of the fandoms involved in this story. This will read like an actual novel itself. The universe and the characters are not owned by me.]
