One day has passed since Iryl and Luke made their introductions. It was now morning, the sun had just risen in the horizon and a morning silence was filling the training camp. Somewhere in the camp two young elves made their exit out of a wooden house stretching their cramped joints.. Those two were none other than Iryl and Luke!
" Ouaa.. That sure was a long night.. "
Iryl couldn't help but yawn before saying the above.. And to his comment Luke gave his answer.
"...That was.. A nice sleep.. "
Iryl then gave him a glare as he was thinking..
' What part of it..?! You were snoring all night! '
The reason the two of them came from out of the same house was because the two of them had already made arrangements from yesterday for Iryl to reside in the same wooden house as Luke. What they thought was that, this way it would be easier for them to prepare for their future plan and allow them to leisurely talk about the past with no problems.
When they made that choice Iryl had yet to know that Luke's snoring could wake up an elephant..
" Luke.. Did you know that your snoring can wake up an elephant ? "
"..I don't snore.. "
" No! No! You really do snore and a lot at that! "
As they were walking Luke stopped and turned his face towards Iryl.. With a scary look on his face he said..
"..I said.. I don't.. "
Frightened Iryl agreed with a nod..
' This guy.. Something must have happened in the past.. '
Once again they began walking with Luke at the front. Though Luke had a scary expression on his face in the inside he was thinking..
'...Do I really.. Snore that much..? Is that also the reason.. When I woke up in the other world.. Other people were looking strangely at me.. '
In the other world.. When Luke was sleeping all other living being couldn't bear being close to him. Let alone sleeping..
The two young elves kept going their way without talking.. Suddenly, Iryl tried to break the silence.
" Hey Luke. You are pretty tall aren't you ? "
"..So what about it...? "
" Hmm.. Well.. I read in books that you used to be a dwarf..! So I thought.. "
Before he could even finish what he was saying Luke stopped, turned around went close to his face and with an angry look on his face said..
"..So ?? What did you think..? Is there something wrong about my height..? "
a drop of sweat came down from Iryl's neck as he said..
" No.. Nothing.. "
"...Then.. It's ok.. "
Once again Luke turned around and began walking as if nothing had happened..
' Dwarfs are really mysterious.. Have to be careful not to anger them.. I should write it somewhere.. Rule number one never talk about height with dwarfs.. '
Iryl was afraid to ask anything else and so they just walked in silence.. But that didn't last for long. Luke for one more time stopped and said.
"..I am going over to the smith.. As planned I will be resigning from blacksmithing.. "
That's right a part of their plan was that Luke would resign from the blacksmith's job.. With his skills he would make an excellent archer. And that would also prove useful in their future plan!
"..You should head to the research facility.. There you will learn more about.. Your elven body and acquire a power badge.. " (Author: I am not sure if it should be called research facility.. But, if you think something more fitting can go there please do tell me!)
" Then.. I 'll see you later. "
' I wonder what a power badge is.. '
The two young men went each their separate way with Iryl heading over to the research facility and Luke heading towards the small smith. Several minutes have passed and Iryl finally reached his destination.
" This must be the place..! "
With nothing to lose Iryl opened the wooden door while saying in a cheerful manner.
" Hello and good morning! "
In the facility an astonishing amount of elves were gathered more than 15.. Iryl couldn't help but be curious about what they were doing. 13 elves were sitting on the wooden floor doing something similar to meditation, while one of the other two was observing their meditation. The last one was a familiar face for Iryl as he turned his gaze towards the door to see who came in. Some of the other elves who were meditating also turned their view towards the door, only to be shout at from the instructor..
" You must be.. Iryl wasn't it ? "
Said the elf that was writing something on a papyrus with a quill that had black ink dripping from it.
" Yes! If I remember correctly you must be.. Who was it again..? "
A small laughter could be heard from the meditating elves as the instructor's voice echoed in the room.
" Silence! Don't lose focus! "
The angry instructor made the other elves get back to meditation without much effort.
" Well, it isn't that surprising that you don't remember who I am. After all we only met once in Mirana's hut. "
The elf infront of Iryl had silver silky hair accompanied with his strange eyes. One of them had a blue azure like color while the other one had a deep reddish color. He looked quite young and handsome, enough that other elves would be jealous of his looks but, he also had this mature aura around him as if it was saying " I am the boss around here. ".

" Let me introduse myself once again. My name is Narxus! I am also the top researcher of this place. "
Iryl was a bit surprised that he called himself a researcher and the top one at that.. But before he could make a comment Narxus continued.
" By the way! This place might be called a research facility but don't be mistaken. This place is more or less like a school.. Here you can learn about the variety of spirit abilities, you can meditate in order to increase your spiritual affinity and more or less learn about magic and it's possibilities! "
Iryl's ears moved from excitement as he heard about magic! He couldn't help but ask..
" How can I learn to use magic ?! "
His eyes were sparkling as he was waiting for Narxus to answer.
" Heh! From your face I can see that you are interested in learning how to control the spirits. But, I 'll have you know that not anyone can do that. "
Iryl's excitement didn't decrease at all when he heard Narxus words. With a small frown then Narxus said.
" Well. Let's get you a power badge first! We 'll have a better look at your body's energy with that. "
With that said Narxus went into a smaller room and waved for Iryl to follow him. Iryl quickly followed him with excitement all over his face.. When Iryl got into the small room Narxus told him to close the door. The room was quite small, with a diameter of 4x4 and it only had enough space for a table and two chairs to fit in. One of the walls was filled with drawers.
" Come sit. "
Narxus told Iryl to sit as he waved his hand towards one of the two chairs then Iryl sat on a chair and waited for Narxus who was searching the drawers as he was mumbling to himself..
" Low level. Low level.. Ah! There it is! "
He then turned around and immediately sat on the chair. He then opened his palm and passed the object he had taken from the drawer over to Iryl. The small object looked like a flat card.. It was finely made out of what seemed to be stone and had some engravings on it. Iryl didn't hesitate to say.
" That is.. "
" Yep! A power badge. With this one can measure how much internal and external energy he has. "
" And that is.. "
" Right! You don't know what that is.. Do you..? Honestly.. What do they teach kids in the village.. "
' Even though I 've never went to it.. '
With a sigh then Narxus made a brief explanation.
" Well.. To put it simply your external energy is how much muscle strength your body contains. It can also be improved through training of the body. But there are limits to it.. As for the internal energy it is the thing we also call spiritual affinity! It has no limits as to how far it can improve but in the end it all depends on one's will and strength of mind.. Your spiritual affinity can increse through meditation! Meditation though is hard and it can prove dangerous depending on the place it is done and for how long.. "
' So it is something similar to Qi from my old world. I guess it won't be that hard! '
" Teacher what do you mean when you say that it can be dangerous ? "
Narxus then paused for a moment.. In that moment what was goign through Narxus mind..
' (Sob) Finally.. Someone who recognised me as a teacher has appeared.. (sob) '
Excited now Narxus replied..
" Listen here now little Iryl to this T-e-a-c-h-e-r! First of all when you meditate you practically communicate with the spirits around you! Most spirits are peaceful and won't cause you problems when you meditate. But! There are several spirits that will try to consume your mind and control your body... Depending on the place you are meditating you can find a lot of different spirits. For example if you are meditating near a lake you can find more spirits affiliated with water there. But, that doesn't mean that you will only communicate with water spirits it only means that most of the spirits in the area are affiliated with the water element. Do you understand now ? "
After his explanation Narxus was gasping for air..
" Well.. I get what you mean more or less! Thanks for the lesson teacher. "
Narxus then calmed his breathing as he was thinking..
' Ahh!! He called me teacher again.. What a nice feeling! '
" Ghmm! Now then let's see how much energy your body contains! "
Said excitedly Narxus and passed the power badge over to Iryl.
Iryl took the small card like badge in his hands and said..
" How do I use this ? "
" Ah right.. I am guessing that this is the first timme you see one isn't it ? "
Iryl made a sad expression as he agreed..
" Well. It's quite easy. All you have to do is to leave a blood fingerprint in the circle on the right edge. That way it will be bound to your energy and the numbers shown will be changing according to your progress. This is a low level power badge so it can only show up to level 100 but I 'll tell you in detail later. Go on use it! I am quite curious of the result! "
' So that's what he is waiting for.. Well, nothing to lose! '
Iryl then bit his finger and a little blood came out of it. Without losing time he placed his finger on the small circle and left a fingerprint. A small light engulfed the engravings on the power badge and numbers appeared on it. As the light disappeared Narxus said.
" This.. This is..! "

Star Wars Episode 7: A Corpse Through Which the Force Speaks
The fall of the Empire heralds dark times for humanity. As the New Republic concedes much of the galaxy to alien rule, a group of special forces stormtroopers must find a way to survive the "new normal". This fanfiction sets an alternate course of events in response to general dissatisfaction with the sequel trilogy. In terms of continuity, this story only takes into account the events of the first six movies and Rogue One. Please note: This story comes from the school of thought that the purpose of art is to provoke thought, rather than distract us from reality. I hope that the disturbing parts of this story do just that! This story is COMPLETE.

Another world? Some weird magic? Sure.
Writing my last novel, I realized that before you start, an ending should be there in your mind. So I wrote this as an atonement to my first novel. This is a typical story about someone who gets stranded in another world with OP powers. But this is not about just the MC, but also some people around him who directly/indirectly had their lives changed. I've written this as a collection of short stories where some may be bigger and more intense than the others. Note: I've finished writing all the chapters, but will upload on my own discretion.
