Melena stood in a cave, surrounded by various bioluminescent plants, lighting her well enough to be seen in the video. "Today, I will be talking about Dungeons. Dungeons are actually very similar to the concept of Dungeons in your games, primarily your genre of games called Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, though they are never 'instanced' like in those games. It is interesting that the word 'game' is in the title of a genre of games, but I digress. My point is that they are effectively separate dimensions you can enter to fight monsters and get rewards.

"While inside a Dungeon, your time moves at quintuple the speed of the world outside the Dungeon. So, even if you do not plan on completing the Dungeon yourself, going into one while training is a good idea. However, you must never stay inside a Dungeon for more than ten of your own days. It is unknown why, despite many unethical tests performed, but you die upon exiting a Dungeon if you stay inside for too long.

"The record time is only around ten of your world's days. Staying in a Dungeon for more than three days already risks death, and always causes patches of your skin to act like they were burned, immediately turning into scar tissue that takes years of time spent at one hundred percent Health to heal. It is unknown why these patches appear in different sizes on different people, but they will always appear on someone after three days, and will always be fatal if they cover your entire body.

"After you leave a Dungeon, there exists a one System hour period where whatever hidden timer exists does not reset. After this one System hour elapses, it is safe to go back into a Dungeon for the same period of time as you did previously, assuming no patches of Dungeon scar tissue appeared. Be careful to not die. While death is inevitable for most people, it is still an unpleasant experience for those around them.

"Now, the main incentive for entering a Dungeon is to obtain the rewards for completing them. At some point in the Dungeon, you will get a notification telling you to complete some action. Except in the case of Adventure Dungeons, this is not an actual Quest. When you complete the given task, you get certain rewards.

"If it is your first time completing a Dungeon of that Level, you gain an amount of SP equal to ten times the Level of the Dungeon, an amount of experience equal to one thousand times the Level of the Dungeon, a number of Free Stats equal to the Level of the Dungeon, and occasionally Normal Dungeon will grant an item, though not always. The exact way it determines if you get an item or not is unknown, but if anyone in the group to complete the Dungeon gets an item, everyone in that group gets the same item.

"Additionally, Dungeons have Levels. This Level is the Level of normal monsters in the dungeon, except in Titan Dungeons. The Level of the boss at the end of a Dungeon is either triple that of a normal monster and a singular monster or double the Level of a normal monster and up to eight monsters.

"Next, there are four types of Dungeons. Adventure Dungeons, Titan Dungeons, Gauntlet Dungeons, and Normal Dungeons. Some people also call the last category Historical Dungeons. Adventure Dungeons are arguably the most dangerous because they take so long to complete. Unlike other Dungeon types, there is no boss you must fight. Instead, you get a Quest as soon as you enter and must spend a very long time inside the Dungeon to complete the Quest.

"This is usually done over multiple sessions so no one risks dying to Dungeon Sickness, but occasionally people risk it and try to do the Quest very quickly. This usually does not end well. The inside of the Dungeon is almost always the most safe of the types of Dungeons, only ever having normal monsters in them; however, they are vast and take time to traverse, which you will need to do to complete the QUest given to you.

"The exact Quest given is effectively random, though each Adventure Dungeon has its own Quest that does not change. They can range anywhere from kill a few hundred things to gather one specific thing that's very hard to find and/or obtain, and anything in between and not. The strangest Adventure Dungeon Quest I have heard of is to create a new species of sapient creature and grow their population to over ten thousand.

"Titan Dungeons are a single battle against a very powerful monster. Unlike the normal Level progression of a Dungeon, a Titan Dungeon consists exclusively of the final boss, which despite its level, it very hard to defeat for even a normal party. It is no more dangerous than a normal boss in terms of single hits or even damage over time, but it has a vary large Health pool and tons of varied tactics to throw at the group attempting the Dungeon.

"Gauntlet Dungeons are simply that you must fight off multiple waves of enemies. It is a very simple type of Dungeon and the favorite of most people, simply because it requires no thought besides that of the battles you enter. No need to traverse, no need to watch out for any weird Skills the Titan may have, just simple fighting. The final boss is almost never a single boss in these Dungeons, however, so it makes them useless for Leveling up after a certain point.

"Normal or Historical Dungeons are Dungeons which take scenes from the past and replace one character with those who enter the Dungeon. This can be a war and a general, an arena fight and one of the combatants, or an assassination and and target. The only criteria that must be met is for the event to be known by over twelve thousand more people than those who witnessed it when it happened and it must involve violence in some way.

"Next up is Introductory Dungeons. These are Dungeons that take a small chunk of an existing world that involves some sort of conflict and turning it into a Dungeon for those just joining the System. Except for those of you born after your world was added to the System, you will have already experienced this. If you ever find yourself in an Introductory Dungeon using a part of your world and you are not part of whatever conflict is the focus of the Dungeon, it is highly recommended that you stay safe and away from the person going through the Dungeon. You are forbidden from helping them and they may think you are an obstacle to overcome, rather than a person.

"Village Dungeons, unlike normal Dungeons, are permanent. I talked about them more in the video on Villages. The only other difference between a Village Dungeon and a normal Dungeon is that Village Dungeons cannot be below Level 5.

"The next topic involves failing your Village Quest. I should have touched on it in the last video, but I did so in the comments, so I won't explain most of those details here, but basically, a when you fail your Village Quest, a Dungeon forms. These Failure Dungeons are the most dangerous Dungeons and do not grant any rewards, including even experience for kills, but can release monsters into the world like a Monster Node.

"Unlike a Monster Node, you cannot simply destroy them by doing a few thousand damage. You must fight through enemies that are double the Level of the highest Level person in the world when that Failure Dungeon is created, then fight a boss that is either quadruple that Level or Level one hundred, whichever is lower. You should be glad that the only Failure Dungeons I know about on your world happened in well populated areas, so they could be cleared quickly.

"On a related note, Monster Nodes are simply pillars that spawn monsters once every hour. The amount spawned is random, but the Level is determined by the area's difficulty score, which can not be known, but can be kept track of as you get various notifications to inform you of its change.

"We do not know why they are called Monster Nodes, instead of some other name, but like everything else under the System, its official name must have some meaning. It is theorized that it has something to do with how the System handles experience, but we are uncertain.

"Finally, Monster Nodes can be destroyed by dealing ten thousand damage to them. Every one thousand damage done will increase the Level of monster it can spawn by one if you leave it alone long enough to do so, but it does not affect the Level of the Dungeon it creates when you destroy it. The Dungeon's Level is always equal to the Level of the Monster Node that was destroyed.

"Monster Nodes can reach a maximum Level of twenty-five, meaning the highest possible Level of a monster you can fight without an invasion is Level seventy-five."

Melena: Are you ok? It has been a very long time.

Degritone: They're dead.

Melena: What?

Degritone: They're dead and it's my fault. I am going TO MURDER RIP DESTROY THEY WILL REGRET THE DAY

Melena: Can you calm down and explain what is going on?

Melena didn't hear from Degritone for multiple minutes, during which she'd worried he'd gone off and done something stupid.

Degritone: Ok, it was tough, but I calmed down. I may need to calm down multiple times. Basically, I rescued two villages of lolis and made them a little town a ways away from other towns. After that, I realized that I was incapable of doing everything that needed to be done on my own and went to find an organization or something to help me.

When I came back to show the people I'd found the village I'd made to show them I was serious, the lolis had all been slaughtered and left

There was a very long pause.

Degritone: to rot, presumably by their previous owners. They're dead because I rescued them and gave them a place to stay. The government allowing this to happen must be destroyed. I will DESTROY IT!

Another long pause.

Degritone: I was already planning on destroying it but I don't think I can contain my rage much longer. I hate to even try to see a silver lining, but it did make my calming image evolve. I can now use it while standing and moving around. I can literally be a walking hurricane now. I doubt it will help me much in the fight against those PIECES

Degritone: against the level 90 combatants you said exist. I don't know if I will be able to stop myself from charging in there completely under leveled. I need a Dungeon I can complete a few hundred times to get to whatever the maximum level you can get off a level 75 dude is. Or maybe my murderous image is enough, but I doubt it.

Melena: I do not know what to do in this situation. I am certain you would obey my orders, given you are you. I am uncertain what would be the best call to make, including if I should even interfere. You probably know the world better than I do at this point. Tell me, are there any Level 25 Village Dungeons you can even access?

Degritone: No. All the Villages aren't allowed to grant Classes except to preapproved people and the only Village Dungeon I have access to, the one used by the organization I talked about, is only level 10. I could increase my level a bit in there, but I'd probably need level 60 or higher to have any chance of winning. Preferably higher.

Melena: A Level 10 Dungeon would only allow you to reach Level 47, and that is if you spent years completing it over and over. You could come home and do some of the Level 25 Village Dungeons over here.

Degritone: I will not abandon the lolis over here.

Melena: I am not suggesting that. I am simply suggesting you come over here, find a very remote Village, potentially even the one your family started, and run a Level 25 Dungeon as many times as you can before you go deal with them.
