Looking around Nuwa couldn't find Reku anywhere near her. Since waking up she had a collar around her neck and chained to a mobile cage. That was moving across a light green countryside. Looking out at the scenery she new it was beautiful but couldn't seem to enjoy it. The only thought that seemed to come into her mind seemed to be. That she only brought misfortune into everyone life that she meets.

First there was her parents and tribe got killed protecting her. Now Reku the one that came to her rescue and taken such great care of her. There no telling if he was alive or dead but either way she brought misfortune into his life. It seemed her life was only meant to be one of misfortune.

Looking around the cage Nuwa could see tell there was several best kind in the cage. There was a family that resemble humans but for the fact that they had a few traits of animals. The Old man had ears and paws of what seemed to be a panda. While the Young lady and two young girls had ears and fluffy tails that resembled a bunny. They must been from the race called Faunus. Sadly from what she knew it was a race that was not welcomed in either the beast tribes or by the humans.

The family was cuddle together in the corner of the cage in some rag tag clothing. You could tell the guards must have been rough with the family. The father must of taken the brute force of the assault most likely from protecting his family. Next to the Nuwa was a Satyr.

The Satyr bottom half of its body was like a body. While the top of his body was just like a humans beside the fact he had two horns. All but one on his left side was broken in half. Most likely it was from trying to escape as the race was known from for peaceful. The last one in cage was a young human female child. With golden blonde hair. That shined in spots when the sun hit it.

Looking at the young child crawled up holding her knees and crying. Moving toward the girl Nuwa started to rub the young girl on her head telling her everything would be alright. Looking up the girl rub her eyes. While making a small snorting sound trying to hold in her tears.

Even though Nuwa new that everything would most likely not be ok. She knew it would be best to try her best to cheer the girl up. Even though it may only be a few moments of comfort. Every moment of happiest one has is a precious memory. There would be no telling what would happen once they reached the end of the trip.

There was a high chance they would end up being sold into slavery most likely. There was no telling what brought this poor girl into a situation like this and what happened to her family. Could they have should her off to pay a debt or possible was kidnapped. Whatever the reason was the girl will now have hard live ahead of her most likely.

Nuwa sat next to to the girl and held her close to let the girl feel much warmth as possible. While holding the girl close Nuwa looked out past the bars at the scenery seeing the fruit trees on one side while farms in the distance on the other. Looking in front where horses were pulling the cage.

Nuwa could tell see two other wagons with guards on both sides. In the distance there was a town a few clicks away almost looking like a run down town. The closer ride toward the town was rough every stone or hole they hit was felt threw the wagon.

Nuwa couldn't help but listen and hear the guards talking about how much money they would get all off this horde they got this time around. The trip took a few hours before the wagon reached the town they seen from the outskirts. The town looked even more pitiful then it did from the distance.

The town was run down the building shutters were hang off their hinges. Seemed every other building roof was in the verge of collapsing in. While the smell of burnt stench was in the air. What was it that was burning that caused such a terrible smell.

Nuwa could hear the sound of chatter and laughter even screams now and then of people in the distance. Yet they wagon kept on going the guards and all just ignoring all like nothing was happening. Occasionally while looking down alleyway she thought she would see a dark figure or eyes staring at her. Yet every time she took a second look she would not see anything there.

The screams that she heard of someone begging for there life or someone to come help. She thought someone would rush to their aid but all acted like they heard nothing and went on with their lives. Almost like it was normal for something bad to happen in the town. How could so many people just ignore someone in need.

Then Nuwa thought about for a moment here in front of them was a punch of innocent people. They were being caged and moved and none even gave them a second thought. While Nuwa was thinking about this the cart stopped in middle of the town square.

There was a large cage in the center of the square with around a hundred of people within it. In-front of the cages was a large platform with thee crucifixes. With three men nailed to them by their hands and feet hanging in mid air. Last at the very edge of the stage was a man in a wooden stock both his hands and head locked tight within. The man bent bent over trying to get comfortable but having trouble as he was bent over standing up. The man must have been in quite of pain.

Next to all this was a chubby fellow surrounded by guards leading a handful of people from the large cage to the stage. Where he start announcing a starting price and the crowed at the bottom would start bidding. It was almost like they were treating them all like cattle. Matter where you went in this world there seemed to be always someone who thought they were better than everyone else.

Moment later while looking upon the fate of being sold into slavery. With no telling what kind of slave life was waiting. One of working the fields, working deep in the mines, or even one of working as a housemaid. Matter what the life was waiting one thing was for sure it would not be easy.

The cart pulled up to the stage but instead of being pulled up and forced into the cage like the rest. Nuwa group was was carted next to the stage. A group of guards pulled out and armed there weapons for attack. While another guard opened the door to the cage and told everyone to step out onto the stage. Everyone was able to leave the cage but Nuwa who was the only one that was chained to the cage.

Nuwa looked watched as the fellow prisoners were led on the stage. Unlike the rest that was being sold she noticed all that was in the large cage was all humans. While all that traveled with her but one was inhuman. The auctioneer pulled the father and mother faunus away from their kids. The guards holding onto the kids and forcing the family apart led the two in front of the ground. The auctioneer stood in front and with a loud voice over that drowned out the voices below.

“First up we have two half breeds couple. One a extremely rare male bear inhuman and his wife a bunny inhuman. The family was caught living in a abandoned home on the outskirts of Castdrol. If you need hard labor and someone to work around the house. Then these two will be perfect for you let the starting price be two silver coins are there any takers.” the auctioneer announced in a loud voice.

“ Ha I wouldn't get silver coins for there kind even if you threaten me. I give you ten coppers for the both of them.” laughed a orange haired man in the crowd.

Hearing this many in the crowd laughed and called out many hurtful words toward the two faunus on the stage. Standing in the crowded there was a man that didn't seem to thank it was funny hearing this. The man seemed to be in elderly but well fit with a beard. That was around two feet long with gray streak down the the center that matched his long hair on his head.

The man was wearing a long robe of the deep royal purple with a gold trim on the edge. The man may looked to be elderly and week. Yet, the aura that was coming off the man seemed he could take on any that came his way. The man opening his voice to speak and hearing the words coming out. It was almost like a thousand ice sickles stabbing at everyone in his presence.

“I'll give you five silver for the two and five more for their kids.” the cold elderly man said while eyeing the auctioneer on the stage.

Seeing this the cold deadly stare the old man that bid on the two and the family. Gave him a feeling of danger so the auctioneer took a step back. The guards feeling the deadly aura coming from the man all gripped there weapons tighter preparing to defend themselves if needed.

“Is there any more offers for the two or tour of them? Going once....Twice.... Sold? To the the elderly man in the front row. You may pick up your purchase at end up the auction. Next up we have young half breed elf. She has a unique difference compared to the rest of the half breeds of her kind.

The guards leading the family of faunus back to the cages. While grabbing and forcing the blond haired girl that Nuwa comfort in the cage. Seeing this Nuwa was sadden just thinking the pain that may come to the girl. The young elven girl was fighting against the guard trying to break free from the guards grip.

“As you see all can tell this one looks like a normal human there ears and all has no sign of being a half breed like the rest. Rest assured though she is a half breed her mother tried to hide her. HYet none can hide from the angelic god Izanagi who created our perfect race with his holy wife Izanami. She goes by the name Kaya.Let's start this bid at four silver since its a half breed and can serve you family for generations to come.” asked the auctioneer as if trying to sell a item that would be a family heirloom.

“ Ten silver coins” the same elderly man said without out even giving them a chance for anyone else a chance to speak.

Nuwa watching as the man bid on the young girl. Seemed to her that this man must have some fetish toward the inhuman races. Watching as the man won the auction seemed non was willing to pay the same price as he was. Seemed to everyone else the man was paying too much money a slave. Even if it was of an inhuman race the money was not worth it that and most did not have that kind of money.

Nuwa knew that must likely be sold to the same person as the rest. She was not worried about herself after all the only people she carried about are now gone. To her she was just bad luck that brought bad luck to all that was around her. Watching as the blond girl was still fighting against the guards. Even though the bidding finished and the elderly man bought her just like the family.

The guards coming up to her unlocking the lock that was holding the chain to the cage. Which was keeping her from leaving or moving more the a few feet any direction. A bulky guard six feet tall with bulky armor on. Any could tell by looking that the armor had a previous owner as it was two sizes two small for the man. With gaps in the armor where either pieces were missing or could not fit.

Taking the chain the large guard yanked on it toward sending Nuwa falling to the ground. Heading face first Nuwa hit the a puddle of mudd that dampened the impact of hitting the ground. The guard seeing she was on the ground started to yell at her to get up. Doing her best to stand up but every time she got her footing. The guard would jerk on the chain again making Nuwa lose her footing again.

The cloths Nuwa was wearing became so dirty that no one would be able to tell what color her cloths started out as. It seemed the guard was being extra rough with her compared to the others. In the end Nuwa gave up trying to stand up. Instead she ended up crawling her way to the stage like a animal.

She knew that things would get very bad since waking up in the cage. Yet, She didn't think that she would be treated so bad and humiliated in front of so many people. Almost everyone in the crowd was laughing and making fun of her. The thought of being lowered to such a state brought tears to her eyes.

Nuwa thought she ready for anything that would come. Now here she was all of a sudden all the feeling she thought she was ok flooded in. All she wished was to go back in time to where she was with her family before the attack. Maybe if they took a different path they would of never ran into the pucas. If that could of happened her tribe would still be alive. They might of still ran into Reku and Kuruzome. After all the tribe would have had to stop to get water. If they would have then she might of still became friends with Reku.

All Nuwa knew was she wanted more time with the ones she loved. Even if it was just for one more day or even one more hour. She just wanted to see them but now she be sold into slavery. On top of that she had no idea what even happen to Reku and she may never know.

“ Next up we have a once believed extinct race called of Anunnaki . Once believed the first race in the world till there god Kukulkan created there race. There race was made from the soil in the ground. Seeing there race as a abomination Izanagi impregnated Izanami who gave birth to our pure race of humans.

Our one and only mission in this world is to putrefy this world for our beloved god and goddess. Seeing that that the three made their own children. The other gods and goddess got jealous and all one after the other made their own race. That when the great holy war began for us to purify this world.

Let's start this final unique sale today and the rares sale this month at twenty silver coins.” The auctioneer said excitedly after telling the great story of the birth of their race.

Hearing the way that people acting was treating the girl. That was being jerked around by the chain was making the elderly man furious. How could he be from the same race as these pathetic group. Matter what race or color one person was don't give anyone the right to treat others so horrible. It was one of the main reasons why he left the country when he was a teenager.

Reaching into his robe the elderly man tossed the bag onto the stage. Staring at the auctioneer without even saying a word he walked up to the guard. Seeing the elderly man coming toward him. The guard drooped the chain he was holding and pulled out the sword on his side.

The auctioneer walking up to the pouch the elderly man tossed to the stage. Opening the pouch into his hand a single gold coin and a handful of silver coins with a few coppers fell into it. Seeing so much money he quickly packed away back into pouch. Looking at the guard he waved for his hand to tell the guard to let it be. As if a sign a relieve the guard exhaled worried he might of just of seen his life come to an end. The man just had a dangerous aura that in truth scared the guard.

Walking up to Nuwa the elderly man touched the collar around her neck. Chanting a few words so quiet that Nuwa could hardly tell he even said anything. Almost immediately she felt like a piece of ice was touching the skin on her neck. Then the collar started to crumble and fall to the ground in so many pieces of shards. That anyone that looked at would never be able to tell you what it would have started out as.

Placing his hand out flat as if offering his to Nuwa. Taking the man's hand feeling slightly happy even if it would just be for a little bit. Nuwa would take whatever slight happiest she could. Even if she knew in her heart that nothing would stay happily ever after. There would always sooner or later something come to attempt to destroy one's happiest.

After helping Nuwa get to her feet the elderly man went up to each of the other he paid for. Gently the man touched the collars on each of their necks. With each of their collars freezing and shattering in turn. Feeling the collar fall off each of their necks a sense of relieve all five of there face. Expectantly the family of faunus.

The parents smiled seeing the collars fall off their daughters necks. Even if they girls were two young to know what was happening to them. Once the collar fell out the young elfish girl ran toward Nuwa. Wrapping her arms around Nuwa and hiding behind her. The young elvish girl stayed close as possible to Nuwa.

The elderly man pulled out a piece of chalk and started to draw a shape of a door on the ground. Taking a powder from another pouch slowly chanting and spreading the powder inside the drawn doorway. As the chanting continued a bright green glow raising up from the ground into the me shape of door of bright light.

Almost like the light one told about seeing at the verge of death. The door of light that lead you to the afterworld. The light so tempting and luring that just has a feeling and temptation to step into it. Makes you curious and wanting to know what is on the other side of the of door.

Seeing the door a lot of the humans in the vicinity wanted to step threw the door. It was was very tempting and lure for most humans to see something but not know where it leads. Makes every human curious to see where something tempting leads to. As if drawn to the light a young man in his late teen stepped up on the stage. As if to go toward the light noticing this the robbed elder gave a dark glance toward him. Which caused two near by older men to grab and stop the kid from going any farther.

“I need all six of you to step threw the light. You will end up somewhere safe so do not worry. If anyone does not do not blame for what these people may do to anyone that stays.” The robbed man waved the six of them toward the portal.

Looking at the portal it was mesmerizing but at same time Nuwa was still cautious. Matter how nice the man was it still could easily be a trap to let the group let down there guard. Unlike her the family of faunus led by the father. Walked his father into the portal with zero hesitation. You could tell by the look on the man's face he was glad and completely content whatever the man had in mind he for them. He and his family would follow his instructions.

Without zero hesitation the father led his family thew the light. Once the family was in front of the door of light the family did not stop even for a moment. Led by father of the family the family disappeared in light. It was a strange looking at the pathway from the side there you would not be able to see the pathway. Unless you were you looking directly at the doorway.

Was was one weird feeling watching the family walk thru the doorway from the side. It was almost like watching the family's bodies slowly dematerialize in thin air. It was truly mesmerizing to see but also seeing this spectaculaur site made one want rub their eyes to see if their eyes were playing tricks on them. As the family dematerialized in front of the two it worried Nuwa. At same time seemed that the portal was also not to deadly as the family didn’t make any sound of pain as going threw the portal.

Getting her courage up Nuwa led the young elven girl to the portal. Who was holding tightly to Nuwa afraid to let go in fear of being seperated from her. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath in front of the bright glowing portal. Nuwa took the final step thru the portal eyes still close. Feeling a tingling sensation one moment and the next feeling a light wind hitting her face. That gave off a relaxing and comfortable smell of seawater.
