《Micro-Management: Survival Base》Sister's World

Duncan woke the next morning to find Laura in his room with her phone in hand. "I downloaded the game, I went through the tutorial and chose the 200% point gain bonus" Laura said simply and Duncan got up.

"What is your group, starting location and apocalypse?" Duncan asked as he pulled himself out of bed and faced his sister.

"My group is 20 beings, I have 11 humans, 3 A.I., 1 Gorilla, 2 Plant Species intelligence, and 3 dwarves. As for the starting location my group is currently in a destroyed cruiser drifting in space in the midst of a debris-filled asteroid belt. This area was the site for a large-scale war between two civilizations and almost all ships here are destroyed to some degree.

My group has found a ship that has a working bio-system but other than that there is minimum supplies. Water can be recycled through a water purifier but food is all but non-existent.

The apocalypse is probably the space field I am in. Everywhere I look there is just debris. Even the ship I am on currently has sectors that are in open-space. There is hope on rebuilding the ships to make them operational but with the current tech it is hopeless." Laura sighed.

Duncan thought about her circumstances before saying aloud "Your location is good but the situation is not. The Plant Beasts do not need oxygen to survive but the surrounding area is to cold for them. Otherwise they'd be able to go out into space unprotected and all. The addition of the dwarves to your group was a good start as they are masters of metal. With them it is not completely out of the question on rebuilding the ships or even getting ships together to create an artificial planet or space station. Tell me, what are your three A.I. units like"

"The A.I. are:

Kasper: Astronomy: 5% Availability

Shandra: Robotic Assembly: 0% Availbility"

"The possibility of you building a space station is high, just make sure you can create a working habitat and upgrade Shandra and you should be fine. " Duncan advised and Laura nodded her head.

"In that case, my Den currently has one central area with about 3 hallways connected to it. One hallway ends with open access to space with an emergency door separating the hallway and space. The second leads to four open rooms, and the last splits into hallways shrouded in darkness it is unknown what is beyond that since there are hazards preventing entry such as jagged metal, sparking electricity lines and more"

Duncan thought about what to do with the 1500 points Laura currently had but then he thought of a better idea. "Since its your den you should make the choices, however a forge is very important and you should get something to tackle space"

"Alright big brother" Laura smiled and then bounded out of the room.

Duncan grabbed his phone and opened up the app and looked to see what was happening. The points seemed to have increased to a total of 107 points. There was also a huge wave of insects ranging from Mantises, Dragonflies, Centipedes.

"I think I'll choose the Beast Whisperer Class" Duncan thought and made the choice. At once the changes took affect and Sandra slumped to the ground as information overloaded her brain along with the voices of hundreds of insects.

Duncan immediately went and upgraded Sandra's brain to handle the surplus of information and watched his points go down the drain.

Duncan then looked at the remaining insects.

A force of about 500 with various degrees of experience and traits.

Appointing the Sentient Centipede as commander, appointing Sandra as commander. Duncan ordered and the insects gathered into separate corps. Loveheart was introduced as a scouter corp.

Duncan scrolled around the map and took a look at the hive. He saw multiple dragonflies flying to and from the hive going deep into the forest.

Duncan looked at his forces and then to the hive once more. "Maybe its time to get my revenge".

Laura settled down on her bed and brought the phone close to her face. The 1500 points was currently unused. Laura made a room into a small farm with a few packets of seeds such as Maize and cabbages for 500. Another room was turned into a workshop with a very small assembly line which costed Laura 800 points. With the remaining 200 points she decided to save it and have the Plant Species start to clear the dark hallway. The dwarves and a few humans were in the workshop trying to install Shandra.

A few humans also went to help the plants while the remainder was either lolling around or working the farms. The ape was sitting in the corner just minding his own business and two humans were fixing up the last two rooms to make them sleeping habitats for the inhabitants.

Laura watched the inhabitants for only a bit before exiting and going to do something else.

In the world one of the males clearing the dark hallway collided with a container and fell. "Who fell, are you okay?" a voice called out and the guy replied in a loud voice. "I'm fine, just hit something big, If only there is a light somewhere"

"I don't like this darkness, it feels unnerving" a person spoke up "Reminds me of what one of my inhabitants said about darkness being the his best friend".

"Really now, what did he say about it?" the guy who fell asked.

"He said that his location was a dark place such as this. To appease his inhabitants he provided them with light. But that only became a beacon for horrors to come and invade them. A never ending wave of horrors. "

"So darkness is better?" a girl's voice asked. "I belie.... AHHHH" the sound of scuffling and the screaming grew more and more distant".

"intruders, lets get back to the Den" a person spoke and ran. The guy who fell scuttled to his feet and then ran. The light of the den. Tendrils launched themselves from the darkness and the guy avoided it narrowly, however one of the girls was dragged away screaming. The guy bolted across the door and pulled a person in before closing the door tightly.

An object collided with the door leaving a massive dent before it cried out and retreated back into the darkness.

"What was that?" a girl asked and the guy looked at her. "I don't know, but they heard us, and then came for us"

" We lost three" an elder spoke up and they all looked around and confirmed that they did lose three.

A middle-aged man, a middle-school girl, and a boy who was no older than 7.

"Lets hope that we go out more prepared next time" the elder said and slowly walked off to organize the objects they did manage to collect.
