Mark : " Phiew , that was close."

I nearly got myself killed , if it wasn't for the warning Hades gave I would probably giving him a another visit . Now he was lying on the ground screaming.

James : " WHAT DID YOU DO !!!"

Mark : " I just switched the cups , you know I became somewhat paranoiac when Hades asked me to kill you for my own good."

Better safe than sorry. Whoever created this sentence , thank you.

Now, what should I do with him ? If I kill him here, where the hell I'm going to put the body ? If I let him alive, it's his word against mine and he's probably going to try to kill me again.

He was screaming really freaking loud, and my head hurts because I don't know what to do .

James :" FREY HELP !!"

He keep repeating that, wait who's Frey ? Shit, I better make him shut up.

I chopped him at the neck trying to knock him out. It was a success, then I dashed next to the door waiting for that Frey guy and I was ready to ambush him.

I was waiting for what ? 30 seconds ? So when the door finally opened, I attacked with my lightning ball slap .

He caught my hand and kicked me away , I probably flied five meters away.

I raised my head to meet him , well it is a her . Jet black hair reaching her knees and a pair of black eyes. She was tall and slim and have good shape where is needed. Probably 180 cm plus I don't know I can judge people heights with just my eyes . Wearing the guards armor set , she was beautiful but more scary than beautiful.

She was holding a guy by his neck, with guard armor too.

HER :" Calm down Sigfrid , I'm not your enemy. I'm Lusella Bedrax , I'm the messenger of Hades , I'm a demon lord , I was sent here to help you. "

Wow that's a lot things . I feel relieved that I didn't have to fight James companion . I assume Frey is the one that Lusella is holding, His neck is bend in a weird way.

James : " Shit what happen...." Nice timing to regain conscious. "FREY! You killed Frey!"

Oh, he saw him. Lusella thrown Frey on the ground next to James.

Lusella : " Hades told you to kill him. Do it now , I will take care of the bodies."

Mark : " Wait, I-I can't just kill him like that ."

Lusella : " Or I can kill him for you but you will have to take care of the bodies."

Mark : " Never mind , I'm will do it. "

I never killed any human before but I got no choice , It's me or him and he was screaming for a while now, luckily the wall is thick and nobody was around.

Walking toward him , I decided to break his neck . It's more clean . Well I do know how to do that, I learned from the movies and Youtube. Placing my left palm at his chin and my right on top of his head , I'm now in a good position.

James : " YOU DEMON , THE GODS WILL PUNISH YOU , THEY WILL TORTURE YOUR SOUL UNTIL THE END OF TIME FOR KILLING ME."

Damn , he got brain washed hard , so hard he became a crazy.

Mark : "Rest in peace , if you want to blame somebody , blame the gods . It was nothing personal , just a question of survival ."

It was personal , I mean he tried to kill me . How that not personal ? Well I was just trying to say something cool.

Using all my strength , rotating his head up with my left hand and down with my right hand. *SNAP* I think it's done now, well it was more easy than I thought.

Lusella : "Well done , Now here your reward." Throwing me a black crystal "Eat it."

Mark : " What ?! It's a freaking crystal. How do you want me to eat it ?!"

Lusella :" Don't worry it will melt when you put it in to your mouth."

Crystal melting in contact of saliva , wow , well logic doesn't apply to gods.

Putting the black crystal in my mouth , when I tried to chew it . It didn't resist at all , it was like a jelly. Like a apple jelly, yup it tasted like apple.

The next moment I swallowed , I felt a cold sensation spreading throughout my body. Then a feeling of compression , like all my body was compressed .

A window popped out.

Soul Eater

You can eat the soul of dead creature and acquire 20% of their powers. The soul must have a name to be eaten.

Mark :"Soul Eater ? It seem too powerful to be giving as a reward ."

This seem pretty powerful in the long run.

Lusella : " It's a skill that only the gods of death have , You should be grateful to Lord Hades ."

This is suspicious. Hades clearly showed me that he doesn't really care about my well being.

Mark : " Why would he give me something so precious ? He clearly stated that I was one of his toy and I'm disposable."

Lusella :" Actually you're his last toy , the others five who are blessed by Lord Hades were killed by Tyr , Mars or Thanatos champions. Lord Hades don't want to lose the bet he made with those three. That's the reason why you have receiving such a gift."

Well , she's well informed isn't she ? Hades spoiling me huh.

Mark : " Well, How does it work ?"

Lusella :" I must tell you that you can only use this skill to dead creature who passed less than 30 minute. The soul you eat will disappear indefinitely, the soul will not be able to send to hell or heaven, he will be deny of any possibilities of reincarnation. So be careful of the soul you eat . To eat soul you need to activate like any other skill."

So, I did what she say and used the skill to James and Frey . Two transparent humanoid form , come from the bodies , I sucked them in from my mouth . It has a feeling of when I'm eating noodle.

I can feel that I got stronger . And the pop up message confirmed that for me.

Wow, all my stats doubled , that Frey guy seemed to be really strong. Lusella even more , I'm really lucky to have her helping me.

Lusella : " The others are back , I need to go . I will contact you later ."

She grabbed the two bodies and jumped out of the windows. I'm a bit shocked, we're like in the 4th floor.

I quickly jumped into my bed and faking being asleep , I was thinking about my first time killing a guy.

I didn't really feel anything , it's a bit empty . No I do feel a little sad for him since he got brain washed but it was still his fault. No guilt *sigh* maybe I'm a psychopath , I should feel bad about it but nope I don't.

These were my last thought before I drove into the dreamland.
