Slowly opening her eyes she yawned, Airi sniffed a few times and the scent of dew made her realise that she was still away from home. But a familiar sensation was felt on her back as if someone was stroking it. She looked up and saw a familiar sillhouette.
Airi: "Mya?"(Mom?)
"Hmm, sorry for waking you up little one I just couldn't help myself. It's been so long since I saw a human came around this forest yet you turned into this cute little thing. Poor child I'll ask my friend to bring you to a shaman in the village later."
Airi tilted her head to the side in confusion as the sillhouette cleared. A form of a woman wearing a circlet of flowers on the lock of vines on her head. She wore simple clothing made by weaving ivy leaves on her wooden body. Her pale orange eyes focused onto Airi's eyes and reached out to grab Airi.
Airi: "Mwuu-Nya!Purrrr...."(You're not mom-hey! Stop! mmm ... there a little bit more to the left.)
"So you like getting stroked on your head? Living alone on this side of the lake makes me really lonely. How about staying with me as your friend little one? My name is Cydonea and this tree stump you slept on is my body."
Airi: "Meow" sniff sniff (I'm feeling hungry and I smell something familiar that way so I'll be going now.)
Cydonea: "You want to go there? That's the direction of the village but I can't leave this place for long. Let's wait for the shaman apprentice to visit in a little while. For the meantime come here."
Airi: "Nya! Ya-ong ... purrrr...." (No don't pull me back I'm hungry! Over there ... a little more to that side ...)

A little while later Airi noticed a short boy with droopy, small pointed ears and a strong scent of herbs and flowers walking in their direction.
"Cydonea I've come to deliver medicine. What's that thing nestled in your arms?"
Cydonea: "Thank you Kale for always bringing this to me. This little one is something I found sleeping on me last night. It's really strange as when it was asleep I was sure it's a human child but before it woke up it's turned into this. Do you think it was cursed?"
Kale: "I'm not really informed about curses besides isn't it bad that a human is found here? I'll have to ask my teacher about that. Also, it's not possible for humans to enter the forest as the scouts and rangers would've sent them off. Besides the mist would just make them confused and walk back out even if they did pass them."

Airi: (Finally she stopped and I can now go. I have to admit that felt nice but my fur is in a mess. Hey!)
Kale: "I'll just bring this one to the teacher to examine. Remember to rest after consuming your medicin-Ow! Don't struggle and no biting. Has this thing eaten yet?"
Cydonea: "It had just woke up around an hour before you came."
Kale: "No wond-Ow! Cut that out I'll bring you with me and we'll get some food on the way so stop biting me."
Hearing Kale mention the word food, Airi calmed down and rubbed her head on his leg. Her tail was held up high as she looked up at his face.
Airi: "Meow?"(Food? Where is it?)
Cydonea: "I'll be waiting for the little one to return so make sure that the village shaman won't try to keep it. I'll see you both later."
Airi: "Ya-ong!"(Come on hurry up I'm hungry!)
Kale: "That sudden change in mood somehow irritates me... Anyways we're going to the village now take care Cydonea. We'll be back later."
After saying goodbye to Cydonea did only Kale began moving in the direction of the village. Airi is evidently excited as her tail kept moving left and right in anticipation.
Airi: (After eating I'll escape and run back to the big pond to pop some more blobs. I still haven't asked a fish if they know a way home afterall.)
The thought of food made her follow Kale with great expectations. A strong gust of wind suddenly blew past them and Airi noticed a big shadow on the path ahead.
Valhalla Banquet Hall Entrance
There were stories told about the great dining hall on a mountain top way above the clouds. It is where the most powerful and wise of warriors would be gathered to feast in the presence of the Gods. It also happens to be reserved for Gods to have meetings occassionally.
As Iris with Bastet nestled(?) in her arms landed infront of the entrance they were greeted by Valkyries wearing standard butler uniforms. The women had their hair tied up in a braided bun. Small wiing-shaped pins are placed on the left side of their colllar. They neatly lined up by the side of the entrance.
"Greetings Lady Iris and Lady Bastet, Welcome to Valhalla. The Gods and Goddesses have been making a ruckus upstairs please do be care-BOOM! ... We will be going to fix the damages."
They're wings materialised on their backs and they began flying toward the source of the explotion.
Iris: "I'm really sorry about the trouble, Hey, Bastet are you okay? Although I kinda like that you're hugging me so tight right now I'll have you let go now since we're not flying anymore."
Bastet: "There is no response. It's just a corpse ..."
Iris: "Bastet? Bastet?! Hey wake up! We've arrived already open your eyes!"

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne (1870) (Completed)
In 1866, ships of several nations spot a mysterious sea monster, which some suggest is a giant narwhal. The US government assembles an expedition to find and destroy the monster. Professor Pierre Aronnax, a French marine biologist (and narrator within the story) receives a last-minute invitation to join the expedition. As the expedition travels south around Cape Horn into the Pacific Ocean, the crew finds the monster after a long search and then attack it, but the ship is damaged with the three main protagonists thrown into the water. They are quickly captured and then meet the enigmatic Captain Nemo. ~ Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne and was originally published in 1870. The novel was originally serialized between March 1869 and June 1870 in Pierre-Jules Hetzel's periodical, the Magasin d'Éducation et de Récréation. An illustrated edition, published by Hetzel in November 1871, included 111 illustrations by Alphonse de Neuville and Édouard Riou. Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is regarded as one of the premiere adventure novels and one of Verne's greatest works, along with Around the World in Eighty Days and Journey to the Center of the Earth. Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
