The third prince.

"Your majesty, the Uigurs have rebelled." said my assistant.

A large number of possibilities started racing in my head. I am almost out of the competition for the throne due to my lack of strength. However, if I can crush this rebellion, I am almost be guaranteed to succeed as the emperor.

My brothers will also start making preparations to crush the rebellion. I tried to make the king of Mainz support me, but he has no interest in involving himself in the western empire. Moreover, he warned me not to seek the support of other countries.

"Collect all the favors we have gathered over the years. Use all the political power and money we have to raise as many troops as we can. Send a message to all of our faction members to inform them to raise armies."

"Your majesty, our subordinate in Karcag has sent a message informing us that Karcag has been lost. The rebels have declared the establishment of a Uigur republic. They are around 20,000 rebels rising up in different cities and towns and have joined the Uigur rebellion."

I am delighted by the rebellion. I have the most military strength but the smallest amount of political power. So this is a chance to use my military force to gain an advantage and secure the throne for myself.

"How many soldiers do the rebels have, and are they fully equipped," I asked my subordinate.

"There are around 30,000 troops, and most of them are equipped. The rebels are currently recruiting more soldiers and might exceed 40,000 soldiers in the future. But they are unprofessional, and our army can beat them in quality."

"How many armies can we raise without jeopardizing the defense of the western empire."

"We can raise about 25,000 troops."

My brothers will also probably raise some troops. I hope they can raise at least 40,000 soldiers. If they can't even do that, I am overestimating them for nothing.

"Your majesty, the Uigurs have rebelled. We are not sure how many soldiers they have, but it's probably around 25,000 troops. Should we send troops to suppress it?" asked my butler.

"What should we do, Erich. Should we send troops or not." I asked my advisor Erich.

"Your majesty, I think that we should try to delay the sending of troops as much as possible as we have more political advantages. We also need our nobles to raise more troops, and that will take time," said Erich.

My butler protested and said, "Your majesty, we already have enough troops to suppress it. We don't need more soldiers from the nobles to suppress it. If we ask for more troops from the nobles to suppress the rebellion, our force will grow more disorganized."

"Your majesty, we need some forces in reserve, and your elite forces will be the best troops for that job," said Erich.

"Erich is usually right, and we need my elite troops in reserve to deal with unforeseen situations," I said.
