King of the kingdom of Mainz(de facto protagonist)

After returning to my room, I rested and told Felix to come into my room. He came into my room, and he asked me how the trip was. I told him it was tiring and boring, but I got some valuable information out of it.

"Felix, when can the Uigur rebellion start. Are we ready, and can we distract the princes?" I asked him.

"Your majesty, the Uigur rebellion is ready to start. The princes will go as whoever solves this will virtually secure the succession and become the next emperor."

The western empire is a warlike state, not as much as Mainz, but the nobles are incredibly warlike. The reason the second prince hasn't won yet is because he hasn't made any contributions and is an idiot in political affairs.

The nobles manipulate the first prince, and he is their spokesperson. Most of the land in the Uigur region is owned by nobles, and he needs to protect them if he still wants the support of the nobles.

The third prince has been pushed into the edge of a cliff now. Support from Lombardy has stopped, and many members in his faction are leaving. He needed me to support him for him to fight still. The rebellion is his last chance; he is exhausting all of his political resources to fight for one last time and win.

In normal conditions, the western empire can easily crush the Uigur rebellion, but these aren't normal conditions; there is a succession battle going on, and the internal stability of the western empire has been declining.

This is also why we quickly ferment the Uigur rebellion; usually, the western empire can figure out what's happening within their borders. Even now, they had a faint inkling of a rebellion happening. Still, they dismissed it as they had more 'important' matters to attend to.

"Start the rebellion. Send orders back home to start the war when the Uigur rebellion starts. This way, the Kildarians will be a bit more shocked, and they will have to choose."

"Your majesty, in my opinion, it will be better for us to wait some time and then attack Strasbourg. If we invade at the same time, others will get suspicious of us."

"It doesn't matter, Felix, even if someone gets suspicious of us, it won't matter as they can't do anything to us."

Felix did not look satisfied with my explanation but still left to carry out my orders.

Even if someone is suspicious, they can't do anything against me. The princes will hate me whether I plan the rebellion or not as I am fighting against them in the near future. They will be inclined against me, but they won't outright fight with me as there aren't enough benefits.

Emotions shouldn't be brought into politics, but politicians are still human beings, so emotions affect a politician's personal inclination to a certain level.

One example of this would be pearl harbor. An example of this would be Germany attacking the Soviets. Hitler hated communism, so he hated the Soviets by that logic. Instead, he should have consolidated his hegemony over Europe by finishing the war against the allies, taking their colonies, and then attacking the Soviets.
