"Felix, start the rebellion in the western empire. We will go to their capital and start preparations for a coup." I said to Felix.

The plan to install the princess on the throne of the western empire is simple. Start a rebellion which will lead the forces of the three princes to send their forces to the west. After their power is dispersed, I will join the western empire as a king and start a coup. If the emperor allows me to join the empire, that's good. If he does not, I will just kill him and proclaim the princess as the empress. The citizens must be sick of the constant infighting. The country was going downhill and their standard of living was going down.

Even if they don't support us, they probably will not oppose us. As I joined the empire, my troops can interfere in the internal conflicts of the western empire. I will conduct a spincer attack from behind and destroy their armies. Even if I lose once, it does not matter. A country can mobilize more forces than a bunch of nobles. As I start my interference in the western empire, I will send my forces to the Gretan states.

The city will be taken by mercenaries and then my main army will reinforce them to take control. I will also get some land from them and how inconsequential it might be, it will pay for the war. The nobles will be destroyed and then the princess will take control, that is what she is thinking.

Did she think that I won't dig any pits on the way. I will sign a peace treaty with the nobles but I will increase their power and make the western empire a bit like the Holy Roman Empire from my past world. She can't oppose it as she has no power and has to rely on me. As a person from my past world said, a country earned by your might will truly be yours and a country earned by foreign forces will never truly be yours. Looks like she dosen't know that quote nor do I expect her to know it.

At the same time, she will have to expend all of the western empire's power to control the nobles and she will have to remain under my wing in diplomacy as I might invade her at any time. 1*This reminds me of a situation in a book I read in my past world. It's a bit like this situation but the MC there handles it very badly. He supports the female lead for no reason and becomes her lapdog. I dropped the book after that. If I am going to support someone, I am going to get something in return and at the same time dig some pits to make things difficult for them.

"Your majesty, I must ask you to reconsider. This plan will take a lot of lives and it might not work out. We will also not gain much from this war and a lot of soldiers from our side will be lost." said Felix sternly.

"You don't understand, Felix. This will secure our western border and let us live peacefully. We can start on the road to unify the Gretan region and no one will interfere with us as long as we choose an oppurtune time." I said to Felix and he suddenly looked enlightened.

I am extremely concered about my diplomatic situation. I am surrounded by two great powers and they can make an agreement and just divide my country. If I can knock out atleast one flank, I will have more choices to maneuver and develop.
