"Your majesty, the battle between the coaliton forces and the Rostok empire has started. We are not able to predict who will win the battle yet but the losses are quite high. Each side is taking 1000's of causualties but they are able to quite easily fill the hole. The Karamanites are being used as fodder to soften up the defences of the Rostok empire and then the Lombardians and the Kildarians are attacking. The Rostok empire is defending without moving for now and are easily able to replace the amount of men that die." said Falkenhayn.

Most wars till now were not that intense in this world due to the small population. Most countries have armies not exceeding of 10,000 troops and losing thousands of troops a day is a lot. Of course, compared to my old world these are all small casualties. Wars used to kill hundreds of thousands of people in my old world so it just feels underwhelming to me.

"Your majesty, I think we can start our strategy of unifying the Gretan region right now. No one will intervene right now as they are all in a decisive battle right now. This is our best chance to unify without any obstacles." said Conrad.

The Gretan region is made up of many smaller states with 2 big states. Braushweig and Stratsbourg are the bigger states and they lead their respective sides of the region. Braushweig leads the northern states and is closely allied to the Kildarians. The Kildarian king is of the same dynasty as of the king of Braunshweig. Stratsbourg leads the southern Gretan states and also borders me. It is the obstacle that prevents me from unifying the southern states. The people support but the bureaucrats and the king there does not support it.

If I want to unify the south and stablize it, I need to crush this country. If they join peacefully, I am fine with that. I will let them keep most of their financial power and let the king become a duke under me. Of course, they will have to remove serfdom.

The reason I am letting them keep their financial power is because I know they can't rebel against me. The reason why nobles had such a large amount of military power was due to serfs. Serfs could be levied but now as there are no serfs, they can't do anything against me.

"Our plan of action will be to send Conrad to negotiate with the Gretan states to join our country. If they refuse, build up some popular support and leave the country. Our main goal will be the south and Strautsbourg. After they refuse, don't engage in any hostile action but try to build more support within their country for unification. We will then declare war when the don't expect it and take over their country. If this happens, the south will join us and that will be the extent of our action. Classify the war as a civil war and make sure their army does not try to oppose us. We will mobilize to 200,000 soldiers and send 100,000 soldiers to take over their country."

"Your majesty, we don't need to send that many soldiers. We can defeat them with 20,000 soldiers as they only have 15,000 soldiers." said Falkenhayn.

"We don't just want to win. We want to break them and show them the overwhelming superiority of our forces so they surrender without any blood being spilled. We want their ruling class to be scared of us and make sure they don't engage in rebellion."

Thankfully, I was already building up support within the Gretan region by controlling newspapers and just promoting nationalism within the Gretans. The reason why they won't expect war is because usually, countries fight in the diplomatic front before declaring war and don't just go to war.

The cabinet nodded and left to do their respective jobs.
