My first reaction was that I couldn't do a marriage with that crazy b****h(censored). The last few times I met her, I was extremely scared as I don't know what type of scheme she will do next and what type of prank she will play on me. Even with my foresight advantage and the fact that I am not half bad at scheming but I usually choose not to do it as I don't need to, she still can easily make me fall into her traps. I daresay that she is better at intrigue and politics than me, a transmigrator. And remember that I know many of the schemes done by people.

Felix must have seen my panicking face and probably didn't know what to do so he brought me some water. After drinking some water, I started calming my thoughts which were running wild. The emperor hasn't come out of his palace for the last few weeks and chances are he is pretty sick and has no energy to care about politics. So who made the proposal. The princess could have made the proposal to gain my support but the problem is as far as I know, she dosen't have enough supporters to make a major decision about her fate. It is probably one of the princes who wants to get rid of her so that there will be one less unstable variable that will affect his ascent to the throne.

The second prince has the support of the military and has the great power backing of the Rostok empire. The third prince has the support of the reformers and the 'noveau rich' nobles. He also has the Lombardinas backing him. The first prince is most likely to win because he has the support of most nobles in the country while the second prince tails closely behind him with the support of the military. The third prince might come in like a dark horse candidate and take the throne if the first and the second prince engage in direct conflict so that's why it hasn't blown into a civil war yet.

As I was thinking about this, a messenger came and informed that my mother came to the palace to talk about the the proposal. I told him to 1*let her in.

"I don't want you to accept the engagement. The empire's upstart royal family are outcasts in the aristocratic circle. If you assciate with them." said my mother.

The reason why empire's royal family were outcasts because of their sudden rise to power and the fact that they conquered all their way to it. The emperor is a military genius, from what I heard the equivalent to my former world will be Fredrick the great or Gustavus Adolphus, a Swedish king but as far as I can tell, he was as not good as Napoleon or Caeser. The problem is that he conquered a lot of countries but he didn't have a lot of time to stabilize his realm. He also killed many nobles while conquering his neighboring countries so due to that reason, aristocrats really hated him. My mother really has zero political sensitivity. It's a miracle that they were able to keep there throne for that long.

I don't exactly care a lot for my mother as we didn't really speak for most of my childhood so I don't exactly care what she says to me and I am in control of the country. After a discussio between me and my mother wiht me stating the benefits. I decided to appease her by saying that I will decide after she comes as I didn't want to deal with my mother.
