"Guard, throw her in a well." I said to my royal guard.

Her expression looked disbelieving and she started panicking after she saw that I was not joking. The guards took her out as she started resisting. I was happy that this problem was dealt with it.

"Felix, release new that the princess has killed herself by jumping into a well. If they ask why she killed herself, say that she couldn't handle being abandoned by her parents and she decided to take her life as an act of resistance." I said in a resigned tone. It is easy to kill her but I also have to deal with the aftertroubles.

There was a disapproving expression on Felix's face due to the fact that this decision might not have brought me the most benefits. Atleast I think that's why he dissaproved of my decision. He nodded and left to release this news. After this decison had been made, I called the cabinet to discuss the diplomatic situation of the country.

"Franz, what is the diplomatic situation of the country."

"Your majesty, the Rostokians have proposed an alliance between us two countries with the goal of dismatling the Karaman empire. The distribution of benefits needs to be discussed but it looks like they want to offset the diplomatic pressure caused by the Kildarians. We need to decide wheter to join the Kildarians or the Rostokians in the battle for world hegemony. The empire to the west is still paralyzed due to the succesion crisis while the Lombards have just attacked the Florentians and are on their way to annex them. The Lombardians have had a defensive coalition form on them."

The main diplomatic event which is happening is the battle for hegemony happening between the Rostok empire and Kildarians. The Kildarians have the naval hegemony but that does not matter because the Rostok empire is mostly a land powered country. The Rostok empire is blocked from competing for naval hegemony as they are blocked by a strait to get out to the high seas. The Karaman empire is currently in control of the strait which the Rostokians want so they could get out of their bad maritime situation. The diplomatic situation of our country is one of the worst I have seen in my past life and this life. We have no geographical defenses and there are two great powers surrounding us. The only way to get out of this bad situation is to unify the Gretans and gather enough strength to do a war against all sides.

The best way to get out of this diplomatic dillema is to ally the Rostokians and dismantle the Karaman empire. If we do that, the eastern flank will be secure. The problem with doing this is that the Kildarians and the lombardians will probably intervene as if the Rostokians dismantle the Karaman empire. The Kildarians will intervene because if the Karaman empire gets destroyed, the Kildarians will have to fight a Ceylon defense battle. The colony of Ceylon is the most valuable colony of the Kildarians and it is by the virtue of this that they can compete for world hegemony. The Lombardians will intervene because they have a deep hatred against the Rostokians and they want to get out of their embarassing diplomatic situation.

I could ally with the Kildaians but they don't have a good track record with being good allies so no.
