The parliment has been pretty tame up until now, unlike parliments of certain other countries, mine has been pretty peaceful. Other parliments using canes and using insults and fight against each other. I had heard of an incident which happend in the US where a senator took a cane(basically a stick) and beat a nothern senator or was it the other way around.So I am happy that nothing like that happend in my parliment. As the second session started, I was intrested in seeing what proposal would be proposed. The parties have lost the initiative and most of their power so they probably won't be doing anything or maybe they will try a final gambit.

"I have a proposal to centre our monarchy around the Kildarians monarchy system. They are the second most powerful country in the world so their system must be good." said the head of the liberal party.

This is a intresting proposal. They want to restrict my rights and make the parliment grow more powerful which I definetly dont appreciate. They also worded it making it seem like the Kildarians got powerful because of their system. Well, it dosen't matter if they want it as half of the parliment are basically my cronies so the bill will probably never get passed. This is their final gambit but sorry to say that it will never get passed as I control the parliment.

"So you want to restrict the power of the great king and give more power to yourself. First trying to dismiss the cabinet and now restricting the power of the king. You are too powerhungry." said a independent.

Other parlimentarians started insulting him and accusing him of destabilising the country. Well there goes no insults but more importantly, it looks like the independents are supporting me as it is politically correct to do so and the pressure exerted by the cabinet might have also be something to do with it. The other party members could sense the direction of the wind and stayed quiet. The liberal looks so dazed. He must have thought that the parliment will support him as it will benefit them but little did he know that I control the parliment. Anyway the proposal was shot down.

After this farce, there were no proposals and I disbanded the parliment for the year. The parliment will reconvene every year as most of the parlimentarians have jobs and being in the parliment is just a side job. The parliment also dosen't do many things as the cabinet basically runs the country by itself. Unless it is something important like declaring a war, the cabinet does not need the parliments permission to do something. So the parliment is just for show and nothing else.

After I went back home. Felix told me that the princess wanted to meet me. I had totally forgotten about her as I was more concerned about a coalition attacking my country and the sticky diplomatic situation my country is in.

"What do you plan on doing with me. I am bored on waiting for my fate." she said without exchanging any pleseantries.

I am not really sure what to do with her as she is just freeloading off my money. I might be rich but I don't like paying for a ungrateful person.

"I am planning to throw you in a well." I said with a straight face.

She got confused and then she realized what I just said and looked at me with a disbelieving face. She knew that I was just joking and was probing to see what was her reaction. I was pretty disappointed that she did not get the pun.

"Don't joke around. Just tell me what are you planning to do with me." she asked in an angry tone.

There are three choice. One is to throw her in a well and kill her. Second option is to just leave her be and the third option is to make her a noble. First option easily solves the problem but makes my reputation stinky and it will make me a outcast. I am fine with that but it will garner fierce resistance in war as I might kill the king. Second option just postpones the problem and third option increases my reputation but I don't want to do that. I am inclined towards the first option
