A blacksmith in the capital

The king issued a new decree few days ago that he is going to move most of the blacksmith's in the capital to the industrial district. The government will pay for us to move and anyway it doesen't matter as it is nearby. I heard that the king is establishing an enterprise in which they are hiring blacksmiths. They are giving out a good pay and if you join you will get low intrest loans from the royal bank. I might join as it will reduce the risk of doing this buisness. The low intrest loans will also help me in case of any emergencies unlike the loans from toledese people. They always charge high intrest loans and try to take all the money from the people.

After the day's buisness is over, I decided to go to the billboard to see the conditions they give you for recruiting you into the company. When I looked at the billboard, the conditions are that they give us 20 marks which is a downgrade from the 25 marks I now get but sometimes the profit is not good and I get 10 marks so there is stability in the wages. They will also pay the medical bill in case you get injured and you will also have priority for loans from the royal banks and there will be lower intrest than normal loans. The conditions are really good so I might join the enterprise. I wonder why they are recuriting so many blacksmiths, might be due to the fact that we will go to war in the nearby future.

A new soldier who joined the army

When the king first issued the call for people to join the army, I was excited but I wasn't really planning to join the army but when I saw the new system of getting land and noble titles for military merits, I was really excited as the only way to get land before was to buy it and good land was extremely costly. Noble titles was near impossible to get as noble titles were usually given to sons of noble. The new king is fair as he is also installing a new mobilization system in which every man has to serve in the army whether they are nobility or a common person. I had done training in the forest and in the plains. The new training is really hard but it was fine as being in the military will give you an high social status in the country and you will get a multitude of benefits such as given first priority for state enterprises and becoming an official. I hope we go to war with the galicians so that I can earn some military merits and earn some land or a noble title.
