《Idle Gaming In Another World》Chapter 12 : Apartment Landlord Simulator

It's been several days since they got to this city. She got acclimatized to the new city and lifestyle here.
Her routine has been to wake up, fix up her clothes, go down to eat, send off her summons for some quest, wait for them while looking at her idle games, play those idle games, eat lunch, play idle games again, greet her summons, go back and eat dinner with them, and then go back to sleep.
Sometimes, they wash their body by renting the backyard where they can use the well for their water. Aozora would prefer doing this everyday, but she wanted it warm and inside the confines of a building.
Unlike the two, at first, Nahmat seems to be confused why they are wasting water. She looks appalled at the sight of precious water being used for cleaning their body. They manage to force Nahmat to try it and she seems troubled but became a habit of her.
Aozora is not that troubled by money anymore. She gets a lot by just delivering fifty potions to the Prudle Firm.
Her plan to go to the Capital to learn more about the Transmigrators has been forgotten. She felt very comfortable at the idea of living her life here.
She didn't want to see the sights of this world, or have some grand adventure. She felt it is too troublesome.
As long as she can play her Idle Games in peace, she is fine if she just stays here forever.
As those thoughts takes root in her mind, she have made some preparations for that.
"That is why, please come with me tomorrow!"
It is currently evening, the time where most people goes to sleep. Inside their room, Aozora is telling them about her plans to acquire a home.
"I see..." Austina looks glad but her expression seems to be complicated. Nahmat just nodded on the side.
"Anyway, let's sleep now. We need to do this early in the morning!"
She looks at her Master who quickly tucked herself on her bed and fell asleep. Nahmat turned her back after her announcement and leaves the room, likely going to her own room that they rented just for her.
'Milady... so this is your choice...'
She don't know what to feel about this. Her Master has just decided to live her life, abandoning her duty to protect the Multiverse. She should be protesting right now. Their purpose is to take care of the Rebels after all.
But that's just a small part of her. She felt glad that her Master won't go around and putting herself in danger. 'She won't die...' Those thoughts graces a small smile on her lips.
After awhile, Austina sleeps on her bed while gazing at the sleeping form of her Master in contentment.
The early morning, Aozora and co. goes to the nearby forest to start doing her plan.
Her plan is simple. She just want to unlock one of her Idle Games.
Austina and Nahmat have occasional encounters with the monsters anytime they leave the city walls. It's just the usual wolves and goblins, sometimes rabbits with horns on their foreheads or the typical slimes.

She accumulates EXP everytime they kill those monsters. She currently have 543,560 EXP. The required EXP to unlock a game is 50,000 EXP. So she can unlock at least a few of her Idle Games.
She have made a conjecture as she operates her three games.
Princess Saga and Chaos Child are originally Gacha Games that she only considered as Idle Games because of their automatic battle function. These games main selling point are the characters themselves. Which means, the game have to make it so those characters will be useful for her.
This is why she can take those characters to the real world.
As for Item Shop Simulator, the main selling point is that the player have to sell items. It have to do something that will help her and virtual money won't help at all.
This is why she can take the item themselves so she can use it, or even sell it on this world.
She sees a pattern. The Idle Games that she have always make it so it will be useful for her. It's all theory, and she wanted some proof.
She first planned on unlocking Idle Apocalypse, Idle Universe, and Idle Disasters but she decided to stop those thoughts. She didn't want to accidentally destroy this city, or even this whole world.
Then she thinks about this game. A simple game that doesn't really have any ending or a story.
The game's title is Apartment Landlord Simulator.
As stated, it's a game where the Player manages an apartment. Upgrading it and letting tenants to live in there, accumulating funds through their rent and then upgrading it more. The in-game time is pretty fast. Every in-game week only happens per minute.
The player can have unlimited floors or expand it indefinitely for more space. The game didn't have a set limit as to how much tiles they can conquer to decorate their place more. It is pretty laggy on her phone so she only made sure to limit herself.
Anyway, the game's main gimmick is managing the apartment. To manage an apartment, it needs tenants. But how would that help her in real life when it is only happening inside her game?
'If my theory is correct, then the apartment itself might materialize on this world!'
That's what she thinks. For her cheat ability to be helpful, it will pull the whole apartment out of the game and put it in the real world.
"Okay. I'll begin."
She made sure to be a bit far on the city walls so no one can see. She have already contemplated about the placement of the apartment and decided to put it here. Letting it appear on the city might cause an uproar so she wanted to do it here.
She opens the list of games and scrolled through it with a swipe of her hand. After seeing her desired title, she pokes on it.
[Unlock this game? Y/N]
Without hesitation, she picks the Yes option.
Suddenly, the whole world turned silent. Everything became still like the whole place has been paused. A prompt occurs in her vision which she ignored as she felt disturbed at the abrupt stillness of the world.

"What!?" Her eyes widened as she looks at the still image of a bird flying on the sky.
Her eyes roamed around her and saw Austina and Nahmat just staring beyond her without moving an inch. Looking behind her, she is surprised to see a bespectacled girl who seems to poking something in the air, also frozen in time. 'That's me!' She corrected before looking down.
She saw her body looks unreal, like an ethereal being. She can see the holographic outline of her body, and a bit of a wispy background covering her.
"Is it because of this...?" Her eyes turned to the prompt that appeared in her vision awhile ago.
It is showing her an overview of where she is located and then above it are the sentence "Pick a location".
She stares at it for awhile before shrugging. "Well, might as well do it."
She raises her hand and touch the floating screen with her hands. When she slides her fingers on the screen, the overview moves along with it. With a nod, she quickly moves the scenery until she got to the Meister City. Then she pokes on the southern area, just a bit farther to the entrance and closer to the Prudle Firm.
[Is this acceptable? Y/N]
She pokes the Yes option and suddenly, she opens her eyes and notice that she in her body again. She looks at the two and saw them just looking at her, waiting for something to happen.
As she stares at them a bit more, Austina raises a concerned look. "What is it?" She asked, confusion and concern in her tone.
"Nothing." She shook her head. "Anyway, let's go to the city first. I think something occurs there."
"Okay!" Austina nodded along with Nahmat.
She arrives at the designated place. Her eyes looking it in surprise.
"Wow. It's really here..."
She takes a moment to admire the apartment complex in front of her. It is a single floor house. In just a first glance, she estimates four 1LDK rooms can fit in there.
She notices something else. Her eyes roamed around and look at the citizens just walking around the streets. Their faces doesn't give a hint of surprise as they go on their way. Their eyes not even glancing at it.
Well, it's not like it is imperceptible. She notices some kids looking at it and pointing while their parents trying to stop them from it. There are others who takes a moment to look at it in curiosity before going on their way.
'... What's the meaning of this?'
While her mind is trying to make up theories, someone called out to them.
"Miss Aozora!" It is a familiar voice.
Turning, she saw Helena rushing to her. It seems like she hastily left the carriage as seen from the roughly opened carriage and the maid trying to follow her.
In Helene's hands are some documents that looks to be important.
As she got near to her, Aozora decided to ask her. "What is it?" She look at her with questioning gaze.
Helena huffs and takes a moment to take a breathe before bowing to her. "I apologize for the delay, here is the deed of this land!" She handed the document to her.
Aozora's eyes widens as she unconsciously takes the document. She reads it, and is surprise to see it in perfect Japanese. The paragraph also looks official, like it came from the Japanese Government itself.
It is a deed detailing that Kamigawa Aozora owns this plot of land for eternity. It is her private property and no one have the authority for it other than her, or anyone she decides to hold on it.
The one who signed it is unknown. Somehow, they seem to have been convinced that this place belongs to her.
"How...?"
"Someone told me about the document. It seems like it was left by someone who knows about your family a long time ago. They said to give it to a person named Aozora if she comes."
Aozora felt surprised, and a feeling of dread covers her heart. Her eyes are wide as her thoughts tries to come up with an explanation.
'What the hell!?' She screamed internally. 'Who the hell knows my family? It's not my relatives or my grandparents. They aren't supernatural!'
Despite not having that much bonding time with her family, she still knows them enough that she is sure they have no connection to this world. Her mother is someone who loves to dotes on her, her sister is a genius who always hates her somehow, her dad is already dead but she knows him since middle school and she knows he is a bit serious and have an extreme dislike to modern things, her grandfather from her dad's side is someone who loves to say whatever he thinks as advices despite it not helping at all, her grandmother from her dad's side have Alzheimer's and always forget where she is despite staying in their home, and there are a lot more.
She knows them because, while she hates reducing her time for her Idle Games, she is always forced to have time with them. She have a habit of finishing it as soon as possible so she always obey them with a slight grumble.
So someone knowing about her family in this world is impossible. She knows even her relatives after all.
'But what if there is someone who knows me!? How did they predict that I will create this apartment?' It felt like a cold water being dumped by her.
Though, there is another possibility that is brewing up within her mind. It is very outrageous and is something that only happens to anime.
'What if my powers bends reality just so this world became convinced that I own this place?'
She is unsure what is the truth, and her mind is still confused about it.
She can only contemplate as she heard Austina congratulating her, Nahmat just staring anywhere again, and Helena clapping her hands with her maid just standing silently on the side.
