《Idle Gaming In Another World》Chapter 3 : Transmigrators

The night sky covers the whole surroundings. Children were going back to their home while the adults put fires on the torches, and a bonfire on the plaza.
Aozora is looking into that, sitting on the ground. Besides her is Austina, who is carrying a bowl of berries with her.
"Miweedi, trai deez... ish dewisius!~"
Aozora turned to her, a snort almost coming out to her. She managed to hold herself back before taking some berries. She pops it onto her mouth and was surprised at the taste.
"Wow. This is surprisingly tasty."
"Isinit?"
The idle gaming addict stared at her with a deadpan. "Can you finish chewing those before talking?"
"Kay!~"
The princess took a moment to gulp it in before facing her. "There!~"
Aozora can't help but be amazed at her. 'I didn't thought I'll personally see someone stuffing food in their mouth. That's a first!' She looks amused. "Wait. Where did those berries came from?"
"That kind lady over there gave it."
"Ah. That old woman."
Aozora's sight glances at that direction and saw the old woman in question. She recalls that it was the one who gave her her new outfit.
The old woman moves towards them with a nice smile on her face.
"Oh. What can we do for you?"
"I see you young'uns sitting on the bonfire and thought of joining. Can't this old bones join you?"
"No. It's fine! Please feel free!"
Austina moves aside, giving her space to sit besides her. Now Austina is between the wife of the village chief and her Master.
"Does our berries taste good?"
"Yes. It is satisfying!"
"Ohoho, thank you for the compliment. It's from our personal yard, and we have a surplus of it so if you wanted, you can grab more."
"Can we!?"
"Of course. It's been a long time since a Transmigrator visited us, so it feels like a waste if we just ignore you."
"Wait." Aozora interrupted. "You said a long time. Does that mean a Transmigrator came here on the past?"
"Of course. Dunno where he is, but he is the one who created the Iron Fortress."

Aozora took a moment to think about it, her hands slowly taking a berry and putting it in her mouth as she did so.
"What? Are you curious girl?"
"Yes. If you would tell me."
"Hahaha... if you are fine with this old lady, then I'll obliged!" With a boisterous laugh uncharacteristic to her age, she begins her tale.
Transmigrators, people from the otherworld. It's been a long time since they appeared and intervene with the issues of this world. She really didn't know when, but they said that Transmigrators are already prevalent more than a thousand of years ago.
Every Transmigrators have strong powers that they call as "Cheat Abilities". It ranges from being able to learn all types of magic up to turning into a god.
Due to the many Transmigrators finding themselves in this world, it seems like even villagers like them know of their existence.
"If you want, you can go to the Capital. I heard there are many Transmigrators there."
"Where is the capital?"
"I don't know." The two girls looks at her incredulously. "But I think, if you go to the next town from there, you will find your way there."
"... I see. Thank you for the info." Austina bowed to her in a courteous manner.
"It's nothing."
A lull. A pause in their conversation. Only the sound of wood cracking from the flames can be heard, and the few adults still walking the dirt on the distance.
Thinking that there is nothing else, Aozora took the last berry and put it in her mouth before standing up. Her mind set on heading to the next town.
"Why don't you wait for Sherman."
"Who?" Aozora raised her eyebrow.
"He's the peddler who occasionally comes here to trade. The guy's nice, so I'm sure he'll let you hitch a ride."
"When will he arrive?"
"Wait..." The old woman took a contemplating gesture. "... If my memory serves, I think he'll come tomorrow."
"I see. Thank you for your advice."
They talk for a bit more, until they decided to retire to their resting areas.
"Milady, please wake up."
Aozora slowly opened her eyes and saw Austina looking at her, her hand nudging her arm.

"The peddler has arrived. I think you wanted to go to the town so..."
"Yes. Okay, I'll stand...." Aozora rises up and took note of her surroundings. She stifled a yawn as she stretches her arms before using her hand to rub her eyes.
She is still processing her muddled mind, until she managed to recall why she is here. 'Right, another world...'
She stood up and recalled about the mysterious panel. She opened it within her mind, only seeing that nothing changed.
'Yeah. Of course nothing changed!'
"Milady, please let me take care of you."
She is still feeling a bit lightheaded, so she didn't notice the princess getting closer to her. Austina straightened her new clothes, and straightened her hair with her hands.
"Uh... oh, thanks..." After the fifth coil of her hair, she managed to notice it.
"It's fine. I have to do this much as the one you summoned."
After taking care of her appearance, they are now prepared to go outside.
On the center of this village, where the burnt remains of the bonfire can be seen, many people, young and old alike, are crowding a certain part of it. The two girls moves towards that crowd to see what it is.
The people at the back glances at them before giving way to them. The others also followed until they got to the front.
Aozora is confused, but immediately realizes it as she sees the village chief and his wife talking to a merchant looking guy.
"Oh. They are here!" The old man gestured on their direction. "This is the girls I am talking about."
As they got close, the merchant looking guy gave them a goodhearted smile. "Hey there. I heard that your looking for a way to get to the Capital?"
"Good morning. Is this gentleman...?"
"Of course. He is Sherman, the peddler I told you about!" The chief's wife responded.
"Right." Austina took a proper curtsy on his way. "It is nice to meet you. I am Austina Schloegn. This one here is the lady I served." She gestured to Aozora.
"Hi." Aozora simply waves her hand.
"Right. Nice to meet'cha!" He looks at the others. "By the way, about the Capital...?"
"Of course. We would like to go there, but we don't know how to get in there."
Sherman glances at the two of them, his gaze mostly pointing at Aozora's black hair. "I see... you looking for Transmigrators?"
"Uh... how did you know?"
"Your exotic features gave it away." Aozora squeaked. "I wonder... are you one of their descendants?"
The idle game addict widened her eyes, before she quickly process what he says. 'Wait, so changing into these clothes works!?' She didn't expect that, but she is glad it works. She just nodded at his way.
"I see." He said with a grin. "Well, I can get you up to the Meister City. Do you have any IDs?" Seeing the two of them shaking their heads, he continues. "Okay. then when we get to the town, I suggest you register to the Adventurer's Guild."
'Adventurer's Guild!?' Aozora is surprised, and a bit excited at that prospect.
They saw her hopping up a bit, but they decided to ignore her apparent excitement.
"We will do so then." Austina then look in worry. "Do we have to pay anything?"
"For you, I would be fine if you just protect me." Seeing the two of them confused, he explains. "You seem to be a competent swordsman and this one is related to a Transmigrator. It's obvious that both of you are strong enough to repel some ne'er-do-wells."
Austina turned to Aozora with a probing look. Aozora nodded to her, which gave Austina the confirmation.
"Okay. We will protect you on the way."
"Excellent!" Sherman presented his hand.
Austina beckoned her Master. 'Oh right, she introduced herself as my servant...' She sighs before moving forward and taking his hand. They shook hands.
"I'll leave my safety to you." Sherman said with a smile.
Aozora can awkwardly return it, feeling a bit nervous. 'I hope Austina can do so. She is still Level 1!' She thought.
