《The First Primordial [DROPPED]》Chapter 6 - Relaxing, sheltering and learning

I spent a few days, I think, like that. I used my mana manipulation to control the ground into a few small walls around my little patch I called home. There was no need to make a roof so my house is just 3 walls with an empty space facing the lake, each wall itself is made of the weird mix of volcanic rock, obsidian and tungsten because that is what everything here is made of.
I looked under the plants and found the same issue, I don't understand why it isn't growing in dirt but I know these aren't normal plants anyway so I believe it has something to do with the lake and it's weird properties. anyway after making my 1 meter high and 10 centimeter wide walls I decided to make a nice little bed, again made of the weird rock, and pile the snow on top to make it comfy because the pure mana is surprisingly soft and fluffy.
After the bed was made I spent a few more days watching the view and exploring, the view here never gets old for some reason, the scale and grandeur combined with the happy feelings the lake radiants make this extremely pleasing to just sit and watch time fly past.
I had an interesting idea. I thought about mana and how it works, and how I move myself with teleporting and floating and is when I thought about how transferring myself to another place works. If I can transfer myself to somewhere else can I transfer mana itself into something or even turn it into something else?
First let's try to move the mana inside myself to a place.
I focus on moving the mana inside myself and circulating it to my skin to see if I could see anything even change in the first place, moving some of the mana to my hand. I look at my hand closely.
As the mana starts coming to my hands I can see a slight shimmer then a small barrier like film grows on my hand but ends at my wrists, the small centimeter thick transparent barrier is glowing gold with a blue sheen and feels kinda like the lake for some reason. It feels comforting and like a warm blanket but more obviously like a blanket but transparent as I can still see my skin as my mana continues to circulate to it.

Deciding to experiment I focus on compressing my mana to get it white, since I have been here I notice my mana has been constantly growing, interestingly enough when I drink the lake water it doesn't add to my mana but instead changes it slightly but I can't figure out in what way yet.
As I focus on compressing my mana I notice that again my hands seem unblemished which is slightly concerning but I move on as I start to see the white film overtake the golden film and blue shine as it becomes pure white with a gold shine instead.
Interesting, so is blue mana not as potent as gold or white mana?
Whenever I use mana for something it is usually gold or white, but I usually see blue mana in the trees or mixing with my gold. Noticing that my internal mana circuit doesn't even use blue mana I come to the conclusion that blue mana is inferior while gold and white is better but I don't think there is anything more potent than white mana so is there only 3 types or are there more?
Finally done with my hand barrier I notice that the white is a little blinding and is glowing gold instead of just a normal sheen.
I don't remember my magic being that potent before. Is it because of me getting used to my body, the mana rich environment, the weird lake, or all three?
The feeling is still comfortable but no longer is like a blanket but like I am wearing full on armor on my hands as I feel strength radiate from it. I keep my hand glowing like that for a while to see how long it can last for and finally after a couple hours I start feeling my mana circuit struggling with my super compressed and mana chugging glowing hand so I decide that is good enough and stop, letting my mana circuit do it's normal thing while I move onto the next question.

Can I transform mana into something else?
First I decide to transform the mana into the only thing I have visual representation of, the massive amount of rock everywhere. I started concentrating on making mana into the rock and found it more difficult than normal, even manipulating the mana in the rock was easier than turning mana into the rock but I did get there eventually, leaving myself with a small sphere of the weird material about 10 centimeters in diameter.
The sphere's surface is uneven and not fully smooth, so I try again this time keeping a perfect image of what I want, a smaller, smooth and round sphere of the weird rock. This time when I finish making the rock it is exactly how I wanted and imagined, a flawless sphere half the size of the other one.
Perfect, so I need to ensure I have a perfect image of what I want or I wont get what I want.
I move to my house from my sitting place near the lake and put the spheres in the corner opposite my bed, while I stand there I decide to try making a cube instead to see if I can get the fine corners right. Deciding to make it 10 centimeters high and wide, I focus on getting it right.
Even though I concentrated on making a perfect cube it didn't come out as I wanted, while it was definitely a cube the edges and especially the corners were a bit uneven and deformed. Trying again with the cube but concentrating even more leads to the same result just slightly better.
Excited about learning how to make a cube, I spent the rest of what I perceive as the day practicing making cubes until I made a perfect one though even at the end I still couldn't make a true perfect cube so I went back to my house and noticed an issue.
Looking back to where I sat by the river and the mountain of cubes and back to my house a few times the issue becomes truly apparent.
It won't fit in my house.
Taking one last peak at my glorious mountain of cubes I come up with an idea.
I will put only the perfect cube inside my house, the rest I will figure out later.
Happy with my plan, I walk back to the mountain and delicately place my cube near the base and use my manipulation to make a small wall around the mountain. The wall is half the height of my house's wall but twice as thick to give it a bit of style. Happy with my profitable experimentation I walk back to my house again and look at the view with a now added mountain of cubes added to the landscape.
I wonder how much I can alter this world? Can everyone just make things out of mana, or is this something only I can do because of my connection?
"I really need someone to test with, maybe that weird creature from before can do something." I think out loud, while I am still not truly lonely I can do so much more experimentation with someone else around. Finished with my line I crawl into my bed of weird rock and snow that would look really uncomfortable but is actually like sleeping on a cloud, closing my eyes to rest.

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me.
