《Damaged Souls:》Into The Island-Draft

Now as many could imagine, waking up in a blank room, except for a large wheel with one color on it, would result in many emotions. One of those being panic or something closer to shock considering how unreal something like this seems even if you were the one living it. I can say for certain that many would but for some reason I find myself not feeling those things, or more accurately feeling anything.
"That would be because of me, what can I say I had to learn something from doing this before" I could hear a reply to my un asked question, it seemed booming coming from everywhere, yet also a faint whisper coming from right next to my heart or perhaps in my head.
"Yeeeep" a large scream is my only response to this new intrusion of this blank room. The voice mmmed, with some form of amusement at this and suddenly it stopped being so omnidirectional appearing directly in front of me as a fairly old man.
"Well now I would hope I'm older than you considering what I am" the voice said, not quite sounding like what he looks like, "a I see your ears work fine then? That's good news and to answer why I appear as what you imagine me being, but my lord if there ever was a more imaginative race than human. Sometimes they literally blow their ears out trying to imagine my voice so I tone it down a bit for you people." Yet again I find my questions being answered before I can form it, before it even really exists.
"Who are you?" I blurt out hoping to get a word in edgewise, scared of the person's voice? would answer again knocking me further off balance. "Well now if you find it rude I'll stop doing so, but I can be considered the gate-man of reincarnation, not quite a god, but things above and below me keep their heads and hands out of my business for their own good." I could almost hear the smug wink at the end of this being's words.

"Okay... Then what I'm I doing here, did I y'know?" Now not worrying that I would be cut off, I gathered the courage to gather what is happening. The being rather than speak looks at me then looks to the side behind him almost like a person looking at a secretary for not bringing their coffee on time, how do I know that look?
The being sighs then looks at me "i'm so sorry little one, it looks like you are more unlucky than I thought. Yes you are dead, and you should have memories of your past life to help you in the rather hostile life before you. And since my assistant clearly thinks they can get away with damning you to dying rather spontaneously, I'll be forcing them along with you in your journey into the new world." The being was feeling chatty for some reason, the reason being that there was a form of clerical error?
"Umm okay so how do I do this?" I'm deciding that sticking around for new issues to be found is a bad idea, and now I would like to not be here actually anywhere but here would be nice.
"Well if you're eager to leave then I'll let you be on your way." The being states matter of factly with a wave of his arm, only to stopp and close his eyes....
Many minutes later he opens his eyes with an odd gleam. "Well I've been told that your soul should be moved away from the other reincarnated. I can see why but I hope that you won't mind me taking a bit of liberty with this request from up high. Now where would you like to reawaken?"
As crazy as it might seem, I want to test this guy so maybe I can get more out of this than I would normally. "I'd like to awaken as far away as possible from people." I demand rather than state as a question as I normally would have.

The being stifles a chuckle and looks darkly at me, "well in that case be careful what you wish for next time cay."
I can almost feel my spirit turn to jello under that look and his chuckle is going to be following me into three no four lifes as nightmare fuel.
Without further ado the being snapped his fingers and that is all I can see for the longest time. Till suddenly my ears pick up the sound of birds whistling, trees moving. 'I'm alive!' I find myself wanting to shout only to find that I can't. What I found instead when I opened my eyes in the very bottom of my vision pure alabaster white, a human leg bone. 'How scary another human died here' I try to scoot away only for the leg to follow me. At this I look at myself, nothing but the same pure white as... My legs!

Tartarus Online
“The new is built upon the old. This is true across all realities, and even the gods themselves cannot escape this fact. Welcome to Tartarus Online, a VRMMOG (Vi-Mog) that offers far more than your usual roleplaying game fare. It is a whole new reality, with a completely level playing field. Gone are the choices of Classes and Archetypes, starting kits and pay-for features. In the bowels of Tartarus, only your effort matters. Once more I welcome you to Tartarus Online. We are going to have a Hells’ of a time.” These were the words that really caught Riley Culman’s attention while watching the promotional video the two guys in nicely tailored suits had brought to him. The two men had come with an invitation, and an offer; which sounded more like a deal with a devil, but was seriously on the up-and-up. Not that these guys from Astarte Entertainment had any reason to lie or be evasive on the subject, given just how massive a corporation Astarte is. Beta Test Tartarus Online. Explore a brand new world. Sleep away his chair-bound life while testing the latest in long term virtual reality immersion technology. And maybe, just maybe regain the mobility robbed from him by an accident as a child. It really sounded all too good to be true to Riley, thus the feeling of making a deal with a devil. But it was what he wanted, more than anything. Welcome to Tartarus Online indeed. Even if the Hells’ are only a step away. [I will also be hosting this story on Scribble Hub, thank you.]

Modern OP game system... With a glitch! (DROPPED)
I just kinda had a wish and then it was granted, well guess what! I'm gonna become a powerful unknown force in the world. I also have a system and got a glitch and was able to add as many points as I wanted whenever I wanted. (it's simple because I don't want to do math when writing when my mood swings a lot and keeping record of skills and and other stuff. Also I'll add other tags in the middle of chapters.)
