"What are you staring at? your not thinking of fucking those corpses are you?" Legna said playfully.
"No not really but I'll let you have your fun since you seem so keen on it" I said in reply, receiving a kick to the neck in return.
Deciding to test out my new spell I conjure a Fireball, feeling that it was instantly more vicious than before launching it to a nearby withered tree *boom* as it was hit by four small explosions as the tree was reduced to splinters, deciding to test it further I found I could keep it contained to a single Fireball and retain all its power or having split it the Fireballs will split their power depending on how many smaller Fireballs split from it.
Furthermore depending on how I want it I can decide on some redirection on the split fireballs, for example I could keep them on their same trajectory or add some varying degrees of redirection in any forward direction.
"Hey your a pretty crap shot you know that so can we just stop pissing around my bloody balls are literally going to fall off from all this frost" He said as kicked the sides of my neck as if he were riding a horse.
Deciding to ignore his comment and satisfied with the results we continue down the mountain.
The falling snow and harsh winds slowly dying down as we get further down the mountain, the snowy landscape replaced with earth and stone, our journey going smoothly until we reached our first obstacle, before us lay a large and wide fissure, its bottom hidden by darkness.
"Soo... how's your wings?" Legna asked.
"They've been better" I said as I flapped the skeletal frame of my wing, it'd be many hours before I'd be able to fly again.
"Well as much as I want to keep talking with you an all I think we should wait her....WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Legna short speech turning drastic.
Having turned around I prepared myself for a running jump, infusing my legs with mana I dashed forward toward the fissure Legna's screaming protests ignored I Leapt with all my might a sense of weightless enveloping me before gravity taking hold.

"Oooh shit!" we both scream as we slammed against the top of the fissure wall, my claws desperately piercing the rock to anchor me in.
"Hahaha We should do that again!" I said while climbing up
"No you idiot!" Legna said as he gave my head a light knock to the head.
Mana Infusion is now level 3
No longer obstructed we continued walking down, Legna deciding to continue riding on me instead of walking, the lazy cunt.
Our time spent walking in silence we finally managed to reach the bottom of the mountain, open grassy plains welcomed our arrival, the far landscape spread-out in the distance showing just forest, forest and even more forest ahead of us.
"hey Xen can we stop for a moment?"
"What you need to take a piss or something?" I replied while stopping.
"No you bastard I think my balls have gone inwards and I'm bloody starving" Legna said as he slid off my back.
"Well there's plenty of grass around maybe you can eat it" I said sarcastically.
"I DON'T EAT GRASS MORON! I need meat...MEAT I'm not some blood rabbit you know" He said as he patted around in his cloak.
"shit..." his face turning glum "my food fell out..."
Fearing another Legna kick inbound I acted swiftly "Hey I think I might have some food" scanning in my inventory to see I had some lovely charred meat to give, summoning from my inventory Legna see's my slightly steaming small pile of meat before me.
"I'm not sure what it is but this should do for now" I said pointing towards the meat.
Grabbing it while giving it a a few sniffs "For me? well I guess you aren't really a bad lizard after all" He said while giving it a few nibbles before messily wolfing it down.
"*burp* Tastes a bit like chicken" as he wiped his hands on his cloak.
Satisfied he jumped back onto my back as we set off again.
-- 10 minutes later --
"Hey Xen there's a house over there" he said pointing towards towards the tree-line, a figure of a cottage appearing from between the the tree-line.
Deciding to check it out we deviate from our path, the house getting more detailed as we get closer, the once fine looking cottage looking more and more run-down until we're at its doorstep.
"Ah so this is your house Legna? its very...welcoming" I said smirking.
"Fuck off i want to check for supplies" He said while jumping down.

"But what if someone owns it?" I said while as he stepped through the doorway
"And? the house looks almost as bad as you, they're not gonna miss a few herbs and cobwebs" he says as he disappears inside.
Too big to fit in I watch from the doorway as he rifles around the deserted house, a few minutes pass before he reappears.
"Hey look at what I found" he said as he brought a bag out, laying it down in front of me revealing the remains of a human or the bones at least.
"Oh are you going to make a girlfriend?" I said shaking my head.
"Idiot I'm going to make a minion to carry things for me" as he scooped it up returning to the cottage, a few minutes go by of silence before popping out again.
"Finally fucking finished" he said as another figure stepped through.
"Mother of god what the fuck is that" I said alarmed.
Stepping through the doorway was a very deformed skeleton, its body was an enigma of mismatched parts, slightly hunched over from mismatched leg length while its face was between human and deformed bear, with a body covered in cracks every step brought with it a slight grinding sound.
"Good right? I call him Bill" He said to my gawking face "He's perfect although I think I made a little mistake somewhere..." he continued
"What the fuck did you do to it? it look as if its been in a blender!"
"Blender?" He said confused "There's nothing wrong with the bloody thing, here! I'll show you"
As if it were a robot receiving its commands the deformed thing started running around doing an occasional jump "See its bloody fine" he said as we continued to watch it stumble around.
*CRACK* A jump too many resulted in a chain reaction of destruction, one bone after another giving way as the the sad excuse of a skeleton crumbled into a pile of unmoving bones.
A moment of silence fell as we stared at the lifeless remains of the corpse, both of us speechless "Not a word you turd" Legna says before returning back into the cottage.
"Hey guys I think I see a house!" A man's voice shouted from amidst the tree's.
"Shit, Legna get out there's someone coming" I said almost in a whisper.
Not taking the chance to make another mess I dash between some heavy bush and a small ditch, hiding myself as best I can.
Watching the cottage as 4 figure appear from the forest, covered in grim and leather armour the 4 warriors walked with swords drawn, slowly they walked towards the cottage door only to meet an impatient Legna.
Both Legna and the 4 scruffy warriors stood staring at each other "Eh mate you life ere right" one of them said to Legna.
"Yes you twat's now leave me alone you inbred pissant and go fucking shit in some other parts of the woods" Legna insults feeling even more brutal than normal caused the men to flinch in surpise.
"NOW LISTEN HERE MATE!" the one who had spoken out grabbed Legna by his cloak lifting him up to his face.
Face to face Legna and random warrior stared into each others face "POCKET POISON!" Legna screamed as he pulled out a fine powder from his pocket and blew it into the man's face.
He drops Legna as he screams in agony, dropping onto the floor as one of his friends rushed to his aid.
"This is why I told you to just kill anyone we rob!" as the remaining two pointed their swords toward Legna.
Legna showing his usual red face jumped backwards into the cottage "Curse of Hells Chains" his voice calling out the ground around the two bandits suddenly erupted into a sea of chains the pair being ensnared in the living metal as it snakes itself around the two binding them in place.
Taking it as my cue I fire a Fireball towards the two unchained bandits, causing it to split into two the pair of bandits are both hit dead on by the split Fireball the blast rending an a few body parts from the unfortunate pair as their screams signalled their deaths.
The two in the chains fairing no better as they start turning blue, their expressions twisting in pain as the chains squeeze harder and harder, the sound of cracking armour and bones followed by a trickling of blood.
Having no time to spare the chains continue their assault as they squeeze harder and harder, until the sound of cracking bones is no more, their mangled corpses released as the chains dissolve into nothingness
"What a bunch of twats" was all that Legna said before he dusted his hands and returned back into the cottage.

A War Beyond Kings
Author: I made som mistakes early in the story that I will have to correct, but it will take some time. I have not abandoned this story, but I will be working on my computer and will not be active on royal road. "The elves start to leave their secure forest of Silvanwood for the first time in over two thousand years. Wizards are murdered in their own homes one by one to the dismay of the Jeidan Order of mages. The ancient ruins in Agnellia seem to have awoken after thousands of years of abandon. The flames of war are brewing, and the continent of Maëgor is about to witness a war like never seen before." Author’s note: This is a serious story, loosely inspired from many great works, which you will maybe be able to identify on your own. It is entirely original though. I’ll be working on this for hours every day, but that doesn’t necessarily means that there’ll be daily chapters. I don't own the rights to the cover image, and will immediatly take it down if the author requires so. Every chapter will be at least 2000 words. And congratulations to anyone who guesses on which language the chapter titles are written in.
