《Primal Cosmic Sage: A Marvel Fanfic》Chapter 8: The Presence.

Location: Hall of creation.
When the last cosmic being left the hall, silence fell in the hall of creation with Perpetua sitting on her throne also in silence.
She dismissed her sons while waiting patiently for what she knew would come.
As she sat alone in desolate dimension and the silence grew, so did Perpetua's ire.
It got to a point that she couldn't hold it back anymore and she reacted like she always does, [Violently].
"Show yourself," she yelled furiously, with her chaotic aura on full display, the very dimension shaking with the depth and breadth of her aura.
"Now, now calm yourself woman, that is no way for someone of your status to behave," a disembodied aged voice echoed in the now-empty dimensional Hall, quietly dispelling the frenzied effects of her unleashed aura.
"An "old" girl like you should have more class, don't you think?" continued the voice in amusement, as the hall of creation returned to its once calm state.
Perpetua was shocked, to say the least, for an old demon like Perpetua who had countless epochs of battle and intrigue under her proverbial belt, she had put in enough power available to her into that little display of might to show that she was not to be messed with like some common mortal.
But the ease at which her aura was dispelled show great skill and raw power, and she knew that only a Chaoslord could perform such a feat. She would know, as she was still a Chaoslord albeit one with no power
This information somewhat put a dent in her plans, as she had thought that the new Master of the DC multiverse will at most be a half-step Chaoslord not a full-fledged one.
With exquisite skill that will shock the most shameless vixen, Perpetua's demeanor did a full 180° as she responded coyly.
"Hahahaha, my apologies," Perpetua responded with a stiff smile.
"Mhmm, interesting, I have heard tales of [Perpetua the Bloodthirsty but never of [Perpetua the cowardly']" chortled the aged voice in amusement.
"My dear, you wear the title quite well, wouldn't you agree?" the voice chuckled once again, but this time accompanying the voice was a face and body.
Materializing directly in front of Perpetua's throne was a portly old man with a ruddy nose, dressed in a black monkey suit while sporting a bowling hat, in his hands was a bejeweled cane that tapped rhythmically on the void of the Hall of creation.

As the owner of the voice appeared, there appeared to be no change in Perpetua's demeanor, but her guard rose up another level as she was once again shocked.
Although the [Totality] of her power had been sealed away, the Fiengod, [Raptor] that sealed her powers, did a poor job of it.
It had come prepared, but not well enough.
The powers it had sealed were gotten from the seven dark forces, but it did not seal her will or her soul, or rather it couldn't as she had escaped quite swiftly, something she was very good at.
Although she became reliant on the seven dark forces, which in turn weakened her willpower somewhat, she had fought against the influence of the forces in essence training her will until it became very formidable. Her soul at least had been elevated to the level of a Chaoslord.
With the soul of a Chaoslord she could act with impunity to the lower cultivated beings of the bleed but starting from half-step Chaoslord to Chaoslord realm she could no longer do as she pleased.
Which was why she had to waste that one-time use treasure to One-shot [The Brave one] who was a half-step chaos lord.
[The Brave One], Pan-di was the creator of a high-level dimension filled with sentient suns, stars, and moons, the average level of beings of his universe were at the least Eldritch Abominations.
He was once a very powerful cosmic deity, but now he is a dead powerful cosmic deity.
(N.B That's right boys and girls the theme for today's story is "Be F***ing low-key" do not F***ing stand out, otherwise, you will end up like our dearly departed Pan-di.)
If Perpetua had actually battled Pan-di although she would have won, it would have reduced the powerful image that she had tried so hard to maintain.
Perpetua still had a powerful soul along with a powerful divine sense, which was why she was shocked when she couldn't fathom how this fat [old] man appeared without her noticing.
As the being appeared, it conjured a comfy couch, the size of a regular couch, and settled comfortably in on it, while its cane disappeared to god knows where.
Perpetua lost herself for a minute as her jaw dropped in astonishment as these series of events took place, she briefly wondered if this whole thing was an illusion.
"Yes, yes my dear, this is all an elaborate illusion," the mysterious being waved its hands grandly as it conjured a cup of hot steaming tea.

"F**** me sideways," she swore, flustered and embarrassed at the ease at which this mysterious being could read her.
She set up all the mental shields she knew of in a flurried manner, after calming her unsettled mind, Perpetua once again looked at this mysterious "Fella" that was slightly sipping a hot cup of "Joe" like a common mortal.
To say she was shocked would be an understatement, Immortals, in general, don't partake in mundane activities, talk less of someone as powerful or more powerful than her in her prime, all their time is spent on attaining greater heights in cultivation, striving for that illusionary peak.
She came out of her shock, questioning what 'donkey' kicked her in the head, to pick this location to convene her council. If she had known there was someone this 'queer' and powerful she would never have come here.
Although this Avatar of hers possessed a sliver of her will, She knew that Chaoslord's had innumerable methods to use this sliver to divine her true location.
Perpetua reduced the size of her throne to the size of a normal chair as she inquired the purpose of the mysterious being as she could already guess who he was.
"Lord Presence to what do I owe the honor of your presence," Perpetua inquired respectfully.
"Hohoho, we got jokes now have we," laughed the 'good-natured' deity as he looked at the squirming God, who was acting like a child being scolded by its parent.
"No sir, I will never be that disrespectful," Perpetua replied in panic, as thoughts of a quick escape flashed through her mind.
The Presence looked at Perpetua and wondered if she would have acted the way she was now if he was in a weaker position.
"Of course, she wouldn't," he scoffed inwardly.
The only reason he was even entertaining this crazy "bint" was because he also had a premonition that the Dragon will be of great importance to his world in the future.
So, he had preemptively sought out Perpetua to dissuade her "kindly" if possible, and if that doesn't work out, then there were more forceful approaches to dissuade her.
Which was why he had played a little harmless trick on her. When he had first appeared in the hall of creation he had used some soul magic with his voice as the medium to destabilize her mind and the subsequent actions he had taken, were to further destabilize her composure, making it easier to read her.
This trick he used, was a favorite of a little bird that resided in [Gotham City], although mundane it got the job done.
The goal of his actions was to make Perpetua more susceptible to suggestions, like let's say now he was asking her to lay off the Dragon.
Perpetua on the other hand had seen through what he wanted, and she was not pleased, for lack of a better word.
She knew that she was the weaker of the two of them, and there was nothing she could do about it, but acquiesce to his demands, at least on the surface and then make a run for it.
As she gave the affirmative to [The Presence], she simultaneously activated one of her other life-saving treasures, which shot and arrow of light to the forehead of the relaxed gentle-deity on the couch while ripping apart the inner dimension of the hall of creation with another treasure.
As the hall blew up, a shooting shadow quickly flashed out of the exploding dimension rushing quickly towards the source wall.
The shadow ripped a dimensional hole near the wall and slipped through it like a fish in water.
Once it passed through the dimensional portal, it collapsed on itself and quickly closed.
Back at the remains of the hall of creation, still sat the Presence comfortably on its couch with nary a scratch on its pristine mint condition monkey suit.
He waved his hands at the destroyed divine edifice and as if time rewound itself, all the rubble came back once again to form the nondescript temple with its inner dimension still intact.
"Sigh, what an impatient woman, I would've at least offered her tea" he commented, shaking his head slightly in disappointment while sipping on its delicious blend.
"Should've at least seen that coming, but then again I got my message across " he continued.
She shouldn't blame me for being ruthless, if she doesn't listen," the Presence said with a sunny smile on its face while making such a terrifying comment.
He then slowly de-materialized while looking at where the shadow the went through, anticipating the chaos that the Dragon was going to cause in the bleed.

Reincarnated, let's be a pirate.
Oh, does it sound familiar? That's not really a surprise. After my death, God, bored by watching the worlds, choose to send me to a new world. I wonder does he know this is an over-used trope? Oh well, I will be alright. For now, let's find my first event. I'm sure it's around here somewhere. "It's like a trope wrapped in a cliché." "It's great and despite the ''over-used trope'' actually original." "Refreshing, dare I say pretty original too." "One hell of a plot twist." MAY CONTAIN BLATANT FANSERVICE. 15+ Suggested.
8 120Chimera
Eleanor meant the world to Titus. So when an opportunity to bring her murderer to justice appears, Titus jumps on the chance. His quest, however, would mean traversing the dangerous world of Nivandor, a land infested with monsters, night hunters, and corrupt kings–nothing he and his lord, Lady Priscilla, couldn't handle. Their plans change, however, when both of them are dragged into a nightmare realm, a dimension filled with strange and powerful terrors unlike any they've ever faced. Titus's skill as a kinetic mage is put to the ultimate test as he must work with his lord to fight off the increasingly dangerous monsters that hunt them as they hunt down the three remaining Seraph lords sustaining the Nightmare. For only when the final Seraph lord is slain will the Nightmare truly end. --- Happy Holidays! I tried to get a chapter out this month, but there was just too much stuff to do and I got sick. There will also be more stuff to do come the month of December to the point that I don't think I will have a chance to finish the current story arc on a strong note. So, as of today, I will be going on hiatus until the holidays are over. I will hopefully return with the last few chapters of book 2 as well as the DLC chapters to help clarify Titus and Priscilla's powers as well as a look into their lives before the story gets crazy (maybe 6-7 chapters). These chapters are planned to take place in the day between Chapter 1.4 & Chapter 1.5, detailing the day they had before going to Nivandor. How the DLC chapters will be titled is to be decided. The DLC chapters will be posted here free as usual. Really excited to get a break so I can catch up on chapters. Even more excited to be able to start book 3 once the current story arc is finished. Warmly, Daniel --- Disclamer: This story is not a finished product and will be undergoing changes, sometimes significant changes, as the story develops. Think of it as an early access story where nothing is fully set in stone. If I change a part of the story that you really love, I'm sorry, but changing one part of the story will affect the other parts I try to avoid major changes, especially in older chapters, but for the newer ones there will probably be more fine tuning. As for anyone invested in the story who is not happy with the way the story is going, feel free to DM me so I can get feedback. I want to know how you guys feel about the story, what changes I can make, at what point in the story I may have lost you. But until I get specific feedback, I won't know what changes might need to be made. There are about 14 chapters left for Part 2 of Chimera, give or take. I don't have a time frame for when they will be up but know I am chipping away at the chapters as I can.
