《Bloody Wonderland》Act 1-12 Project: Bloody Wonderland.

“So here’s the deal. for the meantime, i shall only answer three of your questions.”
The shadow said while laughing.
Light, hearing that began sulking.
he literally went to the corner right next to the TV and hung his head between his hands in response to the Shigure’s statement.
“WOAH?! you shouldn’t be that surprised, right?! you should actually feel very proud that i actually gave you the option of having three of your questions answered! normally, I’ll just ignore them, you know!! heck.....I’ll add this to the equation and you can choose a single request or three questions!”
The sulking light looked up toward the two meter-screen that took the whole wall in front of him.
“Request.....?”
“Yes...! i can even give you a GPS locator for all the students in this school plus the information about their powers! don’t underestimate the power of knowledge!!”
before anyone could notice, the conversation’s flow turned to Light’s favor.
hee....it looks like this girl is pretty lonely.....no?
thats when Light had a very interesting idea come to mind.
“Hey.....can i ask you to do me anything ?”
“Yes.......?”
After confirming that, Light took the most natural request he can ever think about.
“Then become my subordinate!”
“e-eh...?!”
Gasped the shadow in the screen.
“I mean, aren’t you pretty lonely hiding here? come out with me to the outside world and become my subordinate. that way, i can protect you from any attacks against you.”
Light felt like throwing up by saying such a cheesy line, but he had grasped at this shadow’s weakness. and that is....loneliness.
he thought that even the what appeared to be a cool character, once getting hold of their weakness; and that is, once their pace gets disturbed, can be manipulated.
although he tried that with the now-dead wolf before, it never worked because it was wolf who was disturbing his pace rather than the opposite.
“well, in the end, don’t you want to see the outside world other than through the screen? is that really satisfying?”
Light said.
seeing that the shadow~DarthVader had a hard time deciding, he thought of giving him an excuse in order to convince herself of joining.
“Ahh~ don’t you want to actually study my skills? like how i can bring out a relic from the past here.”
>
while saying so, his Right arm cracked.
it’s a very painful technique that distorts time and creates a paradox in a set location; in this case its Light’s right arm.
before the paradox actually affects the universe, he sets a barrier with > which controls the distortion, he pulls a relic weapon from god knows where~in this case, when.
he pulled, yet again, the black coated, silver heavy pistol.
with its barrel in dragon head shape, he waved it toward the screen.
“don’t you want to study this up close?”
he asked in a matter of fact tone.
The shadow in turn, gave a sigh and turned the chair to face the camera.
the shadow disclosed and from it emerges a petite, young girl with chestnut hair.
her eyes seemed to be of the same color and her pure white skin suggested her lack of sunlight.
“A Loli.”
thats the first thing i uttered after seeing her appearance.
at the same time, i am also reminded of the last time i watched Anime......and at the same time, of my hate toward Alice who killed me that day.
since in the end, i watched some Anime before heading out to meet her.
the girl~Shigure, stared bright red into my eyes~or at least thats what my gut is telling me. since in the end, who
can tell from that humongous TV?
so she told me “do you remember what i just told you? knowledge; information, is power! if we were to follow that, then curiosity is one of the most intriguing desires, no? anyhow, if you want me to join you, i have but a request that i must make you do. i want you to access the main terminal of the school and pull out information about ‘Project: Bloody Wonderland’. ever since i tried hacking into the main server, someone kicked me out and closed it down. now the only way to access such information is manually through the terminal located in the principle office.”
she said that in a tone implying that i couldn’t do it.
this was an obvious provocation, and Light thought there was more to the deal than she has already told him.
“Just what exactly is this project Bloody Wonderland?”
he asked the question that was in his mind ever since that mysterious note was left on Wolf’s tombstone. ((yes, in the chapter where Wolf was buried i typed monument, which is still correct but i changed it again to tombstone in order to make it more accurate.))
“I don’t know myself.......all i know is that the files concerning that project....are all highly classified. even i, who
can get through the pentagon’s cyber security undetected was unable to access the files....all i got to say is, its something very intriguing.”
i couldn’t help but give a wry smile after hearing that......the pentagon.....? isn’t that something you shouldn’t even think about hacking.......?
with those thoughts in mind, i decided to make my way back to the surface and toward the principles office.
“Oii, where are you going?! don’t you need to get the code for the terminal first?!”
“I already got it~!” i answered while walking away and waving my hands to the screen behind me.
i could hear Shigure’s Sigh of resignation while i shrug it off.
***
The principle office is located at the center of the school.
it has its own, separate building built just for it.
now i bet that you are all suspecting that this is just a waste of money, but believe me, this thing has much more uses than just having the principle’s office.
it is also the shelter made inside the school.....i can only think that the principle at the time of building this was just a coward who wanted to be even safer in peaceful japan.
>
i immediately decided to use time barrier in order to maximize the efficiency.
i entered the now building....and its dark.
as expected from a shelter.... thought Light.
Light began looking for a Light switch, and when he did, he flung it open~or atleast thats what he planned to do.
but the switch wont flip.
Damn...i guess using > was a mistake on my part.....? i’ll flung the switch open and re-use it.
he stopped the skill for mere seconds and he flung the switch open.
thats when he noticed something wasnt right.
because right after switching the lights on........hundreds of undead were there.
“Ehh~? this might be imagination.”
Light flung the switch yet again and it turned the lights off, and turned the lights back on again.
the undead were still there.
Light continued to switch the lights back on and off in denial while the undead appeared to him as if they were titling their head in puzzlement over his weird behavior.
ehh??? why are there undead here!?
who called these undead.....?!
the only one who can raise this many undead is Cheshire.....did she join the enemy side..........?!
Light had many similar question as those, but realizing that it isnt time for that, he quickly used > in hopes of stopping their time but as he remembers.....undead’s time cannot be stopped.
after realizing the mistake he has done, and the undead seemingly sensing his killing intent, began to run toward Light.
he instantly switched skills to that of > and used it on both arms.
in his right arm, there stood a black coated silver heavy Pistol, with a dragon head on its barrel.
on the left, what appeared there was what seemed to be a long sword with Ancient Greek inscriptions similar to that of Cheshire’s.
The bullets shot from the pistol flew in a straight ark while penetrating everything in its way, and the sword turned to ashes everything that its blade has touched.
although he was bitten a few time, he was able to turn back his body’s time before he, himself turned into an undead.
Light wanted to use the same trick he used when dealing with Michiru, but unfortunately, his brain’s processing abilities would not allow such thing.
his mind, screaming in pain over the heavy overload its been going through alongside Lights body, was soon reaching their limits.
but thankfully, Light cleared all the zombies in the nick of time before his mind and body gave up.
the 50 meter building floor could no longer be seen. it is either filled with blown up body parts that could no longer be recognized or covered with ashes.
Light decided to take a short break and then continue.
“but man....i hope this is just one neat trick and not Cheshire’s betraying me.....i have yet to use that girl.”
muttered Light.
after finishing his short break, he began making way to the principle’s office.
although he met with a small resistance, he was able to clear all those with zero problems.
upon reaching the principle’s office, he opened its reinforced steel door with a bit of difficulty.
he immediately noticed the old, huge dusty computer that is installed within the center of the room.
he skips toward the computer in sheer joy of having his thirst of curiosity about to get filled and gaining a new toy.
it makes you forget that he was almost killed by hordes of undead just a few minutes ago.
Please Insert The Password.
he proceeds into inserting the password just as instructed in the screen.
Welcome, Mister Wolf
as the window has suggested, i have used the password provided to me from Wolf’s Notebook.
a screen filled with documents comes about and i began searching for the file called ‘Project: Bloody Monday’.
as soon as i found the file, i immediately clicked it without having any seconds thoughts.
but to my surprise.....all that was there was just these few words.
The White Rabbit Must be Killed Before Its Too Late.
while i was a bit puzzled about what that sentence meant, and why that sentence alone had tougher security than the pentagon.....all these questions were left unanswered; because before Light could think of such thoughts, he heard clapping sounds from right behind him.
he turned around, only to find silver hair flicker right infront of him while Light blue eyes pinned him down.
he was too shocked to even utter a sound....because what stood before him was none other than the person he himself saw die right infront of his eyes, and buried with his own two hands.
what stood before him was.......Wolf.
***
I decided to take master out of the room and into the cafeteria in order to treat him to a drink and calm him a bit down.
“I am sure you are quite confused about the reason why i’m still alive.....”
“Of course! you died right before my two eyes....and i buried you with my own, two hands! why are you still alive.....?!”
ahh~to think i’ll make Master this worried...and full of regret.
“Truly....i am truly sorry, Master!”
Light, not paying any attention to what Wolf just said, continue
“Did you know......? i had Cheshire use her necromancy skill to revive your body.....but it didn’t work.....so how are you alive.....?”
“Ahh~ well.....its because i wasn’t exactly dead when she used her skills on me....”
“wha~?! no, i’m sure you were dead! i mean, your neck was severed from your body, y’know?!”
“like this.......?”
as i said that, i took a knife from my pocked and sliced my neck open.
although it hurts very, very much, if its for master.....then its nothing.
***
Wolf, who was sitting right infront of me, suddenly took out a survival knife from his chest pocket and inserted into his neck.
with the knife still stuck in his neck, he continued
“as you can see.....i’m an undead~!”
i was shocked to hear that.
no, it was still within the scope of my predictions but what left his mouth after that was even more of a shock that i couldn’t help but hang my mouth wide open.
“~I’m Cheshire from the future~!”

The Dreamside Road
Five years after the world fell into chaos, a treasure of artifacts is up for grabs. The relics of the Dreamside Road offer a power that could help rebuild or annihilate what remains. Orson Gregory is an adventurer for hire, but hunts this treasure for answers, not glory. Enoa Cloud’s late aunt helped hide the Dreamside Road, but following in her aunt’s supernatural tradition offers her as much peril as power. Together, Orson and Enoa battle a magic-obsessed militia, clash with a host of rivals, and face constant adventure on their journey to find the Dreamside Road. *Updates Monday and Friday The Dreamside Road is now on TopWebFiction! Vote so people know this exists. _____________________________________ NOTE: The Progression tag applies specifically to Enoa. Also, fair warning, that element doesn't enter the story until she begins her studies. Content: Main characters range in age from teenagers to people in their thirties and older, but it will not contain gratuitous violence or explicit sexual content. It also won’t shy away from implication, anything to make this story and its world feel more real. Characters will freely allude to potentially triggering topics, including living with a disability, facing terminal illness, coping with trauma, surviving societal destabilization, and the consequences of bigotry. At its most intense, the Dreamside Road is a hard PG-13. Worldbuilding: This is not a story with a lot of early exposition scenes, conveniently explaining ‘magic systems’ and political dynamics. Readers will learn, progressively, as the characters do. This story/world has a ‘magic system’, or rather, a set of systems, but the effort to quantify and understand the truth of the setting plays a role in the backstory, as well as in some character motivations. In that same vein, not every character has a firm grasp on the nature of their world, and not every piece of dialog from every character should be taken as entirely truthful Worldbuilding. Also, this isn't the softest Sci-fi. There are at least some basic explanations given for various elements, but Royal Road does not give me a spectrum to choose from. Given the choice between hard and soft, let's just say The Dreamside Road won't be cited in any college Physics papers. Setting and Theme: The Dreamside Road walks the line between fantasy and science fiction and deals with finding one’s place in a changing world. Many of the characters in this story are United States natives and the story begins in the United States, my homeland. However, knowledge or interest in this country is not necessary to understand the story, especially as it progresses. Also, as this is a novel that deals with societal collapse and while that damage may be widespread, in story, I don’t want to overstep and critique the culture of others’ unless I have particular knowledge in a given area. Ultimately, the Dreamside Road is American in the same way Harry Potter is English, fantasies that do not have a full secondary world, but with enough original elements to fully diverge the setting from our the real world.
