《When Death walked the world》Chapter 31.

The guardians held a meeting inside the great tomb of Nazarick.
They have all gathered in the throne room, — all but Gargantua. They had been transported to a new land, to a new world it seemed, however what caused them worry was not this, but the absence of the supreme beings.
Up until now they have firmly believed that the supreme beings seeing their feverous work would grant them the greatest of presents and grace them with their presence. But now that hopeful dream was crushed. They were indeed transported out of the void, but no supreme being welcomed them.
What was the point then? They asked themselves, but soon realizing their blasphemous thoughts they quickly erased it from memory, hoping that the supreme ones weren't displeased.
"What are we to do now?" Shalltear asked, hoping to receive an answer to the problem at hand.
Abruptly the great double doors leading to the throne room burst open.
"What is the meaning of this?" Albedo questioned in an irritated voice. "Who would dare disrupt our m-?! The voice died in her throat as her eyes dilated while gazing at the impressive striding figure.
Whispers escaped the guardians' lips as the imposing skeleton finally reached halfway between them and the doors…
Then out of nowhere an over-the-top salute made the hair on the guardians back stand on edge.
"What th-?"
"Impostor!"
"Attack!"
The words left the guardians mouths as they leapt into action.
"W- wait! It's, It's me P-pandora's Actor!" Called out the skeleton in a distressed voice as he teleported several dozen fts away.
The guardians halted their advance when they saw the bones melting into a glue and reforming into a plain eggheaded doppelganger.
The guardians' eyes flared in frustration.
How cruel one must be to give them hope, only to rip it away?

Most likely they would have pounded down on any denizens of Nazarick, be they simply spawns or guardians, but Pandora's Actor was a special case. He was created by the last supreme being, the one who had stayed the longest, Lord Momonga — leader of the 41.
This if nothing else had given him a privilege to dodge any rash attack the guardians might throw at him out of anger and exasperation. Feelings born from the fact that they couldn't do anything. They were powerless to bring back any of the 41.
The atmosphere was tense as several seconds passed when finally, Demiurge spoke up.
"I believe as Guardians it is our duty to guard the legacy of the supreme beings."
Several nods accompanied his statement.
"I also believe that the supreme beings had brought us here for a reason."
Again, several nods confirmed the other's agreement with his words.
"Do not lose hope, my dear comrades I believe that this is a test of the supreme one's design!"
Demiurge declared in absolute certainty as several gasps were heard in the room.
"We shall take this world as a storm and find our supreme beings even if we have to raze everything else to the ground!" Demiurge declared and the guardians broke out in a delightful cry.
Sebas had a hardened expression hearing the devil's words, but he remained silent. If it meant that he would see his creator Lord Touch-me then there was no price too great to pay… or so he thought not knowing his resolve in the face of innocent lives lost would weaken…
"I and Albedo will work out the details, until then be ready! The great underground is going to WAR!"
Shouts of affirmation and delight filled the grand hall as Demiurge finished his speech. Aura and Mare was jumping up and down happy at the prospect of meeting their creator soon, while Albedo's and Shalltear's visage contorted in perverse desire. Cocytus threw his many hands holding his halberd up into the air in anticipation, while Sebas reservedly witnessed the unfolding.

…
In but a few days the armies of Nazarick were ready to march and march they did. Nothing could hinder their advance as they made their way looking for the supreme beings. Or at least, that should have been the case… they couldn't have known what monstrosities lurk in the abyss.

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week. Cover art is 'The Siege and Destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans Under the Command of Titus, A.D. 70' by David Roberts. This art is in the public domain.

Bleached Nightmare
500 years into the future, technological progress has stagnated. Wracked by a series of problems like climate change, lack of resources and the innate human lust for war, the geopolitical landscape of planet Earth is radically different, and quality of life is far from what it was in the past. While technical development and research into realistically feasible space travel has made leaps and bounds, this has come at the cost of a world that is reeling from centuries of technical stagnation in other aspects of life. The establishment of a mining colony on Mars has led to the discovery of a new, rare material called sarinium; though it is extremely tensile and durable, it has a very low melting point. The discovery of this metal leads to large mechanical infantry- dubbed 'Spirit Striders', they are six to ten meters tall and as famed for the pride they provide a nation as they are a lethally mobile heavy weapons platform. The story follows the character of Marilin, who must both figure the enigma that is her past, and what this means for her allegiances in the future. Despite her genetically physical frailty, she seeks to gain power through a vessel that will channel her wish to change the world- the Spirit Strider. --- I hope you all enjoy my work. This is a story that I began writing over four years ago in my beginning years of high school, and have cast aside unfinished in the past two years. Though it is not up to my current standards, I hope you all may find some enjoyment in it. Happy reading.
