Suzuki Satoru closed his eyes as he waited for the final shutdown of the server.

"Ah it had been a glorious adventure. I had fun, thank you guys. Even if you couldn't make it, I don't blame you."

"I have work tomorrow I should go to sleep as soon as the servers are down, hah."

"What the ..?" While looking around, a most peculiar feeling washed over him. As confusion spread green light enveloped him, and magically he was calm again.
"Hmm, I should assess my situation. .. How come I am so calm about all this?" – He asked no-one in particular as he raised his arm just enough for a bony hand to come into view.
"Huh? – Haaaah!?" The emotion suppressor was activated yet again.
"Okay, Satoru let's just look at this situation objectively. I am my avatar, from a game that was supposed to end. Where am I now? This place looks like a picture in one of those books, what was it again? A jungle?!"
"Let's see." – he said as he held out a finger. " {Fireball}" A fireball roughly 3 meters in diameter shot out and decimated a dozen trees.
"Hmm, it seems like I can still use my abilities from the game. Now then, first of all I have to gather information on this place, and then I have to confirm my level of power in the grand scale of things."
{Perfect Unknowable} {Fly}
The skeletal overlord vanished from sight and set out to discover the world.
"There is no time! Protect your sister and run! Go now Ash!"
"But!"
"Run!"
Ash turned on his heels and rushed away into the wilderness while he carried his 6 year old sister.

He ran as long as he could, but his stamina wasn't on pair with the filthy demi-humans who relished in the suffering of humans. He felt an arrow grazed his shoulder, and his movements slowed considerably, and soon completely stopped. He realized he was poisoned. He turned his gaze towards his pursuers while he put his sister behind his back.
"Hahah! What a stupid meat sack! You can run, but you cannot escape us, ahah! We were told to bring back you maggots unharmed, but accidents happen yeah?"
"Hey, Gobo don't play with the food."
"Oh, come on boss! A little fun is all, just think about it we can say that we found their bodies in 'that' condition, no-one could speak against us, you know as well; the forest is dangerous."
"I guess, but I take the little one."
"Sure boss. Aha-ahah." He chuckled as his imagination ran amok.
They neared the humans ready make them incapable of resistance, the human male was frantically looking for a way out, while the female was furiously grabbing onto his legs out of desperation.
In Ash's eyes the sword was coming down, the hit would be critical, but he had to try for the sake of his sister's survival. There was no other way for his family to survive, but to slay down his enemies right here and now. He tensed as the sword came down and time seemingly slowed to a snail's pace.
…
The world lost its colors, the chirping of the birds died down, and all movement came to a stop as time ground to a halt. It was at this exact moment he realized that it not only happened inside his head, but time had truly stopped. He would think about how it is possible that he is still able to move, but this was not the time for that.

He felt a tug on his shoulder and when he turned his head to see what it is,.. the color drained from his face as a skeletal hand came into view.
"What is this? They are eating humans? Should I intervene ? Weird I don't feel particularly discomforted by their deaths. For now I will observe."
…
"Hmm, he doesn't stand a chance. Even if he managed to defeat one of them, there is no way he could take down the leader, he is 20 levels early. I guess this is as good a time as any to ask around for some information."
Still under the effects of {perfect Unknowable} he grabbed the shoulder of the young man and cast: {Time Stop}.
...
Selena watched as their attackers suddenly fell over, dead. She looked up to her brother Ash, she knew he was a strong big brother, but she couldn't see a thing. How strong is he really?

Gamer
I am making this story as a revamp, edit, and transformation of the legendary gamer into something that can be better related to. I have done some work on writing, and also put more work into preparing the introductory thoughts. I will have a bare minimum of weekly updates, but there may be more depending on how much time I have. This story will follow Gregory Jeffrey Drake, a young man whose life is partially micromanaged by his parents, and in time will come to be a powerful character in his own story. For now though, the main focus for Gregory is to grow and find his place in this new world he has been dropped into. Gregory gained a new type of class, and must use it if he hopes to stay alive and make the world a better place.
