The boy saw how the bib blob rolled closer and closer to him, and really felt like trying to run. He then remembered how there were probably hundreds if not thousands of other blobs behind him, so he stood his ground. Once the big blob finally finished rolling, it lay in front of him, the orb inside of it coming closer to the boy, and to the edge of the blob itself.
Then the blob reverberated. “HOW DARE YOU SPEAK LIKE THAT TO ME, OZYKMUDAS, KING OF THE SLIMES?!” The slime screeched at the boy, in the process spitting at the boy with large amounts of slime. The cleaned his face off from the slime as he was giving an answer to the king.
“Well, you see here my dear king, I just escaped from your supposed gods.” The slime wiggled thoughtfully after hearing that, it’s core slightly starting to float around. ‘I wonder why’s he’s the only one with a ball inside of him.’ After a few more thoughtful moments, the slime king started to speak again.
“TELL ME HUMAN, WHAT ARE THE NAME OF THESE GODS?” The slime king said slightly less loud. “Well, one of them was named... Camille? Cameron? Car-” The boy was interrupted by the slime.
“CARMIRA?”
“Yes, that’s the name!” The boy said, slightly surprised that the slime knew about the gods. The slime then wiggled some more, its core moving inside in a thoughtful-like manner. The boy silently stood, making and scrapping several plans to get out of this situation. Suddenly, the king called out; “RAZABON! COME HITHER!”
A slime came out from the wave of other slimes, this one dark blue in color. The slime moved beside the king, and wiggled a bit and then stayed still as the king’s core moved closer to it. The boy was still thinking of ways to escape, and still coming up on blanks when the king started speaking again.

“WE MUST CONFIRM YOU’RE TELLING THE TRUTH, LET RAZABON HERE INSPECT YOU!” Then, right after the king finished, the blue slime wiggled over to the boy. The boy didn’t try to resist, as nothing was worse than the feeling of The White Thing climbing on you. The slime swam onto and upwards to the boy’s chest, staying there for a moment before glowing its color. The light was unexpected to the boy, so he basically got flash banged for a moment.
After the blue went away from his eyes, the boy saw that the blue slime was beside the king, the king’s core chaotically moving inside him. Confused, the boy looked around the cave, and saw that the rest of the slime’s furiously jiggled as well. Now really confused, the boy looked to the king. “What-”
“MORTAL, HOW DID YOU GET THAT POWER?!” The king shouted at the boy, his core threatening to jump out of his body as he did. The boy cleaned slime from his face again, before answering: “Well, depends what power your taking about?”
The king core went chaotic again, shooting in random directions all around the king’s body. The boy looked in wonder, before the core shoot towards him again. “THE POWER OF TIME ITSELF! THE LAST TIME HISTORY SPOKE OF SOMEONE WITH THAT POWER WAS AN EPOCH AGO, AND THAT WAS WHEN MY FOREFATHER’S WERE STILL ALIVE! SO, TELL ME MORTAL, HOW DID YOU, A LOWLY HUMAN, ACQUIRE SUCH POWER?!”
The boy didn't even bother to clean off the slime this time. “Well, it was handed to me the day after I came here.” The entire cave went silent after his response; the king’s core unmoving, staying in-front of the boy like it was frozen in time. Then, like the gods themselves made time move again, all hell broke loose.

The slimes that surrounded the boy and the king started to wiggle furiously, literally vibrating in their spots. Some of them even started to climb to the roof, moving erratically on it. The king’s core shot so hard into his back that it nearly popped of, and the closest slime’s next to the boy started to climb onto him.
The White Thing reacted first, coming out from his back and... eating the slimes. As each of the slimes got within range of it, it ate and ate them just by creating and moving tentacles around. More and more slimes approached the boy, but not before the king stopped everything. “NOBODY MOVE!”
The king grew limbs. He now had extremely thick hands, and really, really stubby feet. He had no face however, his core just being in the middle of his body. As soon as the slimes ‘saw” the king in this form, the all backed off, those on the roof falling down into the available places. The king then grabbed the boy’s head with both his hands, his core shooting to the edge closest to the boy.
The king then, with the boy’s head still grabbed, opened his eyes. The boy saw that the king’s core started to glow, before blinding him. Before he even recovered from the flashbang, he was dropped onto the ground as the king started to speak. “IT SEEMS THAT YOU TELL THE TRUTH, HUMAN. THAT ALSO MEANS THAT YOU GET TO WORK FOR US!”
The boy slowly got up, and asked: “...What do you mean, work for you?” The boy saw how the core inside of the king moved...heartily? “YOU WILL FIND OUT SOON.” Then the boy was knocked out by something.
---------------------------------------
The boy regained consciousness in another cave, this one having stone bars. The boy got déjà vu, and instantly started making a plan to escape the place. First, the boy noticed how he was in a small pocket of a larger cave, as a stony dead-end as behind him. Two, the boy noticed a lot of slime trails outside his cell, meaning guards were on regular patrol-
The boy heard intense wiggling behind him. He looked out his cell to find ten slimes were laying there, wiggling. He looked slightly worried, before he saw all of them go in-between the bars and surround him. One of them tried to climb on his foot, at which point the boy kicked it off. The slime flew into the wall, before falling down and laying there.
The slimes to wiggle again, this time making some of the nearby stone chips shake on the floor. Then they all jumped onto the different body parts of the boy. Two went onto his arms, two onto his legs, one onto his head, and the rest onto the connected parts of his body. Then, with all the slimes on him, the boy was dropped onto the floor as he was wiggled out of the cell.
The boy was brought to another room, before the king slime, who was back in full slime form. “WELL HUMAN, GOOD MORNING TO YOU!” shouted the king with obvious fake excitement. “...Why am I here?”
“GOOD QUESTION HUMAN! YOU WILL HELP US KILL A LOT OF PEOPLE, OR YOU WILL DIE!” The boy looked at the slime king’s core, before sighing heavily. ‘This is going to be a fucking pain...’

The Second Coming of Fate [A High Fantasy Story]
Prologue Arc: The Day That Begins Your Fate - COMPLETED Story Arc 1: Chaos in the Lamorian Kingdom - ONGOING Please consider following/leaving a rating. I plan to turn this into a long lasting series, and it would really mean a whole lot to me. :) ----- Having succumb to amnesia, Galvin one day appears in the Grand Forest east of the capital kingdom Lamora. For the next two months, he lives a perfectly carefree yet boring life until one fateful day changed everything. Encountering all sorts of characters and dealing with all sorts of shenanigans, Galvin begins to experience visions of what appears to be the future. With this newfound power in a world full of magic, yet plagued with war, discrimination, and brutality, will Galvin be able to change fate…or die trying? ----- Do you like stories where the protagonist doesn't start out strong and is deeply character driven (with a LOT of inner monologues)? A story that has its fair share of comedic and dark moments? Well then you've come to the right place! However, if you're looking for LitRPG mechanics, then unfortunately, this story doesn't contain too many of them. The dynamics of the story will be based on real life physics and mechanics (with a bit of magic of course!) Also, I delve deeply into a lot of disturbing topics, so readers do be warned. However, if any of this sounds interesting to you, then please come by and give my story a read. ----- Expect releases as soon as possible (which is like 4 - 10 days). Just know that I'm writing this story as it progresses, so a lot of first drafts are to be expected. :D
